    Ok

that's funny. Make that a banner, or change it to a Morbazakh and put it in the art forum. -CF
  2. lucky! Where did you get it? (Including country) So, how is it? -CF
  3. So I'm entering the BBC contest this time. (Like, my third) The MOC: Toa Sparaku The Topic to comment Yeah, vote for him please? At least comment, please. -CF
  4. Well, if you don't know it by now, I love random quotes. So when I received this link in an email, I was in heaven. And then I finish the first page and find out there's 9 more pages! anyway, -removed- to random quotes/stuff. enjoy! (don't be surprised if some of these end up in my "Quote of the Day") -CF That site had some religious content I'm afraid. - Shine Thanks, sorry about that. Don't worry guys! You'll still see plenty of those appropriate random quotes to your right!
  5. So here's a summary of SuperDance (see three entries below): All went well. Set up and cleanup went really well. IHOP was fun afterwards. And the dance was great too! I got CDs signed by Pat McGee, Crash Boom Bang, and The Hint. Those bands were awesome! (and I likes Pat McGee (alumni!) and CBB beforehand) So, being the year 2007, we did a 007 theme. Here is the logo (off the movie "Liscense to Kill) And the second logo for the front of the shirts) Yeah, I can't wait until next year. -CF
  6. So here at Superdance (see previous entry which will tell you to see the entry before that), Crash Boom Bang has played, and they were just as awesome as last year. A couple hours later, The Hint played, and they were good too, enough to make me buy their CD. So, yeah, I'm here in the break room to drop off my new CD. And the final 4 hours should be awesome! -CF
  7. Great CD, isn't it? I even did a review for my school newspaper! -CF
  8. So Pat McGee just played his set at Superdance! (see last entry) It was great! And I got him to sign my SD shirts, the cover and CD to "Shine" and "Save Me" and his autograph on the SD logo. But how am I on right now? We have a cool staff room! (including a GameCube) -CF
  9. yeah, Dilbert is funny. My teacher has one taped to the wall: "This week I achieved unrecordable levels of unvarafiable levels of productivity" or something like that. funny. and nice little script there too -CF
  10. OK, guys, this is the biggest thing in my school. It's been going on since 1976 and is really important, exciting, and the closest thing to all of the student's hearts. (Please read the whole entry) SUPERDANCE!!! This is a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a group that works towards finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis and for helping those that have it get through life. CF is a disease that clogs the lungs with mucous, making it hard to breath. What makes it so special to Bishop O'Connell High School is that a student (actually, the family had a couple of kids) had CF. She was an excellent athlete and everybody knew her. Because of CF, she of course had trouble in life. But like I said, she was an athelte and was very strong in fighting CF. O'Connell HS started the Superdance because of her. The Superdance is a 12 hour dance (noon until midnight) that raises money for the CFF. Without SD, the CFF would have $2.8 million less than they do now. This year, tomorrow actually, we are hoping to raise over $200,000 to break the $3 million mark. This year is the 32nd annual SuperDance. Since the year is 2007, we have a James Bond theme. Very cool. This is a huge event. 16 committees made up of over 80 students, myself included, have been working since December on making SD a big success this year. We have 4-5 bands come in and DJ's to fill in the rest of the 12 hours. Bands include: Pat McGee Band (Pat is a '91 alumni) Pat McGee at our 30th SD And some local bands: Crash Boom Bang My Favorite Highway The Hint So, what is the point of this blog? To tell you about SD, CF, and that you can help fight CF by donating. There is a link on the SD website where you can donate securly. (and I know some adults read this that have things such as credit cards...) But I also just want to tell you that I'll be having an awesomely good time at a 12 hour dance tomorrow. (actually, I spent today setting up, and I'll be there tomorrow at 8:30 AM to about 2 AM, then we go to IHOP after!) -CF
  11. I totally aggree on the leg hole and foot hole. The first thing I noticed was how horrible the leg hole looked. I think a couple of others can be forgiven a little. But I think the arm hole could have been prevented with the same piece without that bar. Oh, why doesn't the leg armor look good? Because armor is supposed to protect, and if it's a foot (scale speaking) above the body, that's not too safe, now is it? Good blog entry. -CF
  12. So I did a review for my school's newspaper on Relient K's new CD, Five Score and Seven Years Ago. I must say that this CD rocks, and I hope you enjoy the review: Yeah, discuss it here! Great CD, huh guys? -CF
  13. Just wanted to blog that Relient K's new CD comes out today! Five Score and Seven Years Ago So I'll be picking it up after school, and then write an article about it for my school newspaper. -CF
  14. then get samller bags. It looks funny that low. Oh, the bags seem like a nice addition (even though they are required) because now you can keep your con stuff in there. I just realized he has no sword. I guess it's safer that way, but less fun.... -CF
  15. So now that this new BBCC is up, I'm figuring out what to enter. I don't have enough time to make a totally new MOC, plus then I'd have to take apart stuff I'm sending to BrickFest PDX 2007. So I'm entering one I'm sending to BF. (It's still on my dresser, so I have time for touch up and photos. Actually, I'm changing something to make it better, so now it will look better at BF too!) Looking at the MOCs entered, this will be an interesting contest. IMO, I'm MOCing something that I would like Lego to make, but also something that BZP would vote on. (so I'm not doing anything really crazy and enormously complicated) (then I see a quote about "what Lego could make into a set" and seeing how they want simple stuff, this might not pass. But I figure in the end it will come down to what MOC looks best/coolest and the theme will be ingored (that happens right? I don't follow it...)) I've been looking at the competition, and there is a wide variety. All I can say is there are some really good MOCs there, and then some people that take a pre-made body and slap limbs on like they are colorblind. Yeah, that's my thoughts. I guess I'll finish the touch up on Wednesday and then get pix in before the deadline. -CF
  16. Get well soon! And I'm definatly ordering a CD. (Might as well order two and get two bricks!) Oh, who made the bricks? -CF
  17. update: I'm back home after a safe car ride. I also read six manga and did less homework than I should have. Oh, what was cool was that the hotel had a computer with internet, so I went on, but only for a couple of minutes. -CF
  18. That's awesome, man. Really good job. You got to take pix with your hair dyed. Also take a pic next to the rest fo the FF team. I do think that you should tighten your belts. have fun! -CF
  19. yeah, I need to send you my MOCs. (or was that comment just saying you won't drive up to DC for my MOCs?) go check your inbox. -CF
  20. shine, you have the most random posts. I'm actally going to blog about the BBC later, but how does MOCing work into a car ride? Pretty messy. -CF
  21. Well, that's good news. And some of that's bad news. What kind of response do you want? Have fun with the snacks! -CF
  22. So I'm going to be in Pennsylvania this weekend to celebrate my Grandma's birthday (don't know age...) (oh, I live in N. Virginia) On that note, it's about a 7 hour drive. So I just got a dozen manga from the library to take care of the time. the main point of this entry is that I'll be gone from about friday at 4 to monday. (I'll get back sunday, but doubt I'll be able to get on. so, see you later! -CF
  23. So, now that Legofan.org is up, I can check out the forums and decide if I want to join? (right?) I go on and it's down(when it went down), so I'm glad it's back up now. I'll check it out soon. (Edit, just did. Didnt' realize placeholder meant "No forums up" Sorry) And go ahead and invade Washington, just not Washington DC...nevermind, I'll help with that because I'm right there! Wish I could get those great deals friday. It's like what happened at BF06, where the local Lego store had deals thrusday night. KUTGW! -CF
