As a Barnes & Noble employee who often deals with customers having issues with their NOOKs, this post is appreciated.
Haha, same!
That's terrible how BZP won't work properly. Good luck with that.
Which size Tablet did you get? 8 or 16 gig? 16 gig has a slightly faster processor/RAM. But either way, they both are awesome. I want one over an e-ink Nook so that I could watch video and check the internet without turning on my computer. (Can't afford one yet though.)
Have fun!

Wow! That sounds pretty cool. I'm very impressed just from hearing about it. Can't wait to meet this Carl guy!

(And if you like card games, I'm bringing Munchkin and Space Munchkin!)

I assume Avengers like Nick Fury and Nova are for the Spidey sets like Iron Fist is.
But yeah totally want some X-Men figs. I guess they aren't doing those since there isn't a movie or TV show out currently.

Now I must make my own hot air balloon battle yours!

What I love about this is that it is so unique.
Can't wait to see you at BrickFair! It feels soon yet feels so far away.

Yeah, I will be using $75 of LEGO gift cards and the 30% off to get the Quinjet, Cycle and Helicopter with only like $.80 out of pocket at BrickFair.
But I doubt I can get a good deal on either type of Hulk from vendors, compared to BrickLink's price of under $20 (not taking into account processing and shipping fees). Iron Fist isn't out yet.

Oh right I will be buying the Cap bike as well.
Wait, just cause they're Marvel doesn't mean they're all Avengers, right?
No, just because LEGO is making some Marvel sets does not mean they are all on the Avengers team. But most of the Marvel characters they are making have been or are on the Avengers team. It's just coincidence. If they make figs like Shadowcat, Cyclops, Spider-Girl, and Mr. Fantastic (just off the top of my head), they are not on the Avengers. But folks like Wolverine and Spider-Man are, so I might as well collect them all for fun.

Woo! I hiked Rainier in July once and found snow. So cool!
Bummer on the sunburn though.

Sing "Oh Canada" to the tune of "The Star Spangled Banner."
I'd rather sing "Let's Go To The Mall".
Hehehe.
Nice gif.

No, it's Spider-Man. The superhero is Spider-Man. The person is Peter Parker, the superhero is Spider-Man.
If the lack of a hyphen bothers you that much... then your life must really be stressful.
And I bet you says lego or Lego instead of LEGO.

I still use AdBlock Plus, but have recently been reminded on why I shouldn't: Without the ads, sites make no money (or less money than if no one had ad-blockers), and if they don't make money, they shut down or consider making you pay or it or have less quality things or a number of other things that just defeat the purpose of this (generally) free thing called the Web.
So it's good that you're seeing ads. And ones relevant to you. Clicking them might help too.
On that note, paying for a season pass is also a fantastic idea, because paying for things like shows you like is good because it gets the money there and shows support. I'll probably do that with a few shows of mine too. But I get cable in the house so only have to resort to other means if I miss a show some night.

Yes! The Giraffe!
And I'm confident the other thing will turn out amazing.

Spider-Man 2 was awesome.
Haven't seen this one yet. Glad you liked it.
I'm so glad they had him make his web!

Yay you finished it!
Looks amazing and creepy and mystical all in one.

Wow! That sounds fantastic!
As does Powell's. I really really really want to get there. A customer over here in Virginia was telling me about it. (And then a day later one of my friends went to it.)

Secondly, some of the series in comic books must go back years and years, and it would be a pain to go back to the beginning and try to read all of them.
Not really. I mean, yeah, they go back years and years, but it's pretty easy to just jump right in. Most story arcs only last a few comic issues, so it is easy to figure out which comic is "part 1" or what just happened so you can jump in. And you only need the slightest idea of the character (Tony Stark is smart and made the Iron Man suit, Peter Parker has super-senses and some spider-powers and he makes his own web, don't make Bruce Banner angry, etc (there are tons of X-Men, and you'll figure out their powers pretty quickly (or just go along with it))).
Granted, it is intimidating. That's why I never really started until my girlfriend gave me a push. Then I went along with it. If you really want a full story-arc, just pick up a trade paperback collection.
That being said, I understand how it is hard if you don't have an income and you do not know how to search for your local comic shops (there are sites to do that).
I really want to rewatch the old Spider-Man series from the 90s. It's got the Punisher, Captain America, and Scarlet Spider, at least.

Funny enough, I don't have too much orange either. Just never weedled its way into my collection. I've done some stuff with orange, but not much. The best think I could have done for my orange collection was buy that orange Speed Racer car, but I opted not to (and I don't regret it).
Maybe later I'll get some orange and then build something amazing.

I just very well might have to look up this book. Noted.
If you like monster stuff, have you heard of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children?
-CF

Nope, and I can't seem to find any info about it online.

Pix of the trophies you won next to the winning MOCs?
Cool stuff on the random winning too!

I hope the AFOLs like Mata Nui as just a large island MOC if they don't realize it's from Bionicle.
Have fun!

Heh, I count my BZPower shirts (2 staff shirts, one Hapori Tohu, 2 BZPower shirts) as LEGO shirts. I even wear the two that EW/Bionicel Raptor made around all the time!
We need a longer convention.
