Those were the days. I think my first proper Bionicle set was Tahu Nuva. I remember watching all of the movies, although I wasn't particularly intrigued in the storyline until I actually delved into it around the release of the Phantoka. Then I saw how deep it really was. Sigh.
Jeez, I can't even begin to think.... Maybe it was one of those Toy Story sets from a few years back?In hindsight, it feels like it's been a much longer than 2 years.
C'mon, you know you wanted these when you were a kid. I remember having the Tahu ones as a 5/6 year old. These were awesome.PICS:http://www.beststuff.com/images/articles/111202b.jpgThe Rahkshi ones are pretty sweet. And then there's the BZP article... http://www.bzpower.c...tory.php?ID=689
THAT IS AWESOME. For some reason, the light grey and brown looks great to me. No gimmicks about it, just a clean colorway. Bohrok shields on the sides of the thighs look like they could be problematic tho
The Coyotes are my dark horse. I think they can surprise a lot of people, it was surprising enough that they were able to win their division for the first time in franchise history.
Wow, really unique. This really has some character to it, just by looking at the beady eyes and spindly limbs. The "gas mask" and thin limbs for some reason made me think of mosquitos (I think the color also had something to do with that). Great MOC regardless, nice parts usage.
I only check out BZP like once a month now, so I was surprised when I saw the forums were FINALLY upgraded to a much nicer set-up. I was more surprised to see people who I remembered talking to a lot were still on regularly.
is like a time capsule, lol. I'm looking back and this brings back tons of memories. Even the Disney World theme left over from Pimp My Blog 2 is reminiscent of those days on BZP... I still have the prototype ice Malum claw I won somewhere.
This looks like a really cool theme, good to see the Dino idea being revived, so to speak. I'm never a fan of the clunky plastic large animals in sets, but they're okay I guess.
I didn't expect to log on randomly years after I "left" to see that BZP is still thriving, even after Bionicle was ended. This is amazing. Who wants to fill me in on what's happened on BZP in the last year?
