Goose Time!

Well, looks like Snelly brought in the gear!

Hey, I don't really remember you, and I have no idea if you remember me, but I'm glad you decided to check in! I remember Bionicle G2 ended right as I was entering into college. I've graduated now, and I'm currently studying for a master's degree. I've been working surveying jobs throughout school, but I finally got job offer from an engineering firm to start this summer!

The last two are, respectively, the oni mask used by Ultra Violet in Ninjago, and Sweet Mayhem's helmet from The Lego Movie 2. There are a few more, with the most recent one being the Shadow Tahu mask. ...my suggestion is that we use the 90th anniversary one for this year.

It's as good finals all around.

Sure all grab a few raffle tickets, especially since it seems to be going to a good cause. This reminded me to enter the free raffle too.

I'm becoming more of a Picross gamer. Been playing Pokemon Picross and Mario's Picross on my 3DS. Gonna try and get as many of the Picross-e series games as I can too before the eshop shuts down.

Thank you for the birthday wishes everybody! I think despite birthday topics (and topics in general...) mostly drying up, this is the first time I've gotten one! I don't really have much planned for the day, but hopefully it's still a good time. Just gonna take it easy and take a break from all the work I need to be doing.

Today I'm listening to What's My Age Again? by blink-182 to celebrate my last day of being 23.

On Thursday, I went to the Orthodontist for what I thought was just a routine visit, but to my surprise they started taking some scans of my mouth, telling me it was for my retainer. And at the end of the appointment, I was informed that my braces would be fully removed at the end of the month! I started laughing with joy when I heard the news. One of the staff told me my laughter was contagious. That has to be one of the best compliments I've ever received. I've had my braces for almost 3 years now. They've become a part of my life as I've grown over that time. And getting them off reminds me of that, but it also reminds me of how much some things haven't changed. I've also already made an appointment with some friends to hit up a candy shop that day and get some of the things I've been missing out on for so long!

Oh wow, we went a full iteration without that being fixed. Not that it's a huge deal at this point though, honestly.

We're getting BZP 4? Wow, BZP 3 still feels so new.

Toa have elemental and mask powers, so it's unlikely, but not impossible. Take those powers away though, and the scale easily tips in the other direction.

Yeah, from my understanding most of the books and such are side stories that don't link back to the main, involve characters not featured in the sets, and aren't mentioned in the cartoon. Maybe you can track them down if you find yourself still wanting more.

Yeah, I'm sure it is. I'm just gonna have to get the hang of it. And I was kinda leaning towards going Scholar once I get to that point as well. (Assuming I don't pick up another class entirely.)

Well, I logged back in to Final Fantasy XIV for the first time since the expansion came out and they've completely changed the playstyle of the arcanist I was using. Not really sure how to play it now. I guess it doesn't matter a whole lot since I'm still very low level. I may start looking around for another class too, since I just got to the point where I can travel to the other major cities.

I don't expect anything really. If anything, maybe we'll get another easter egg in a system set. If that does happen though, I definitely expect someone to complain about it.

Well, despite all the bad stuff and pandemic going on throughout the world, I have to say I think 2021 was a good year. The best year I've had in a while. I looked back at the year in my journal and realized this has been a year where I made a lot of my goals happen! The wishes I had at the beginning of the year came true! I've posted about some of the bigger moments in my previous entries but here are some bullet points covering good things that happened to me this year: I've kept up my health and gotten some dental procedures, that while not exactly pleasant, were necessary. I graduated college and earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. I got a new car that runs very well. I took that car on a long trip on my own. As part of that trip, I attended Brickfair Virginia and had an amazing time. I passed the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam. I got into a master's program and finished my first semester with straight As, learning some cool new skills and doing research along the way. I started going to the gym regularly. I've been spending more time with my family, including some time where I'm responsible for my nephew. After years of applying, I've finally gotten a job, which I'll be starting at soon. Here's hoping that 2022 can go as well for everyone as 2021 did for me!

I think this is a good move. BZP has not been amazing as a news source for a long time. Lately, I think it's even been overtaken by Mask of Destiny. Plus you already do lot for the community without needing to post random news bits every day! I'm excited to see any other changes that come from this.

I think starting from 2006, I got at least one set, usually many more, as a gift for the next decade or so. This year, my mom sent me out last minute for gifts for my family. I tried to find some Duplo for my nephew since he's getting to be around that age, but the store was all sold out. I may have picked up a Ninjago City Gardens for myself though, you know, just while I was there.

Did anything actually change?

Really cool to see this on here! Happy holidays right back to you! My mother sent me out to buy presents for everyone and I stopped by the Lego store so I had a pretty nice Christmas eve.

Around a whole month of Chima? Now where have I heard that idea before...?
