  1. Super Paper Mario. I really liked the story and music of that game.
  2. Pablo Picasso's full name: Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso.
  3. I like the atmosphere. The only suggestion I have would be that I'd like to see a Rahi (maybe a Nui-Jaga?) silhouette somewhere in the background too.
  4. I had a similar experience in regards to Bionicle G1 - I first got into Bionicle in 2003, but by 2007 I started cutting on my Bionicle purchases (only bought 3 sets in 2007, and 1 set in 2008). Although I didn't make many set purchases, I continued to follow the story and stay involved at BZP. And then in December 2009, when I found out that Bionicle was getting cancelled, I started buying a bunch of Agori/Glatorian/Stars sets for the sake of nostalgia. After that, I tried following Hero Factory for a bit but got bored of the HF story, and so I ended up getting interested in some of the System themes because I liked the minifigures - Power Miners had Rock/Lava Monsters, Atlantis had fish-people, Pharaoh's Quest had mummies, Ninjago had ninjas. However, by 2013, Power Miners, Atlantis, and Pharaoh's Quest were all discontinued, and I wasn't really interested in the 2013 Ninjago sets, so I didn't buy any new Lego sets for about a year. Instead, I spent my Lego budget to buy/trade for old Bionicle G1 sets online (mostly at the BZP B/S/T forum) and garage sales/thrift stores. 2014 got me back into buying new Lego sets due to a combination of two factors - 1) The Lego Movie, and 2) news of Bionicle returning in 2015. Then in 2015 I went to my first Lego convention, and all the cool MOCs there convinced me that I needed to purchase more new Lego sets (which has been the case for me up to the present ).
  5. `Huh, coming from the US I was surprised that the Lego Store employees in the UK don't greet you as soon as you arrive at the store. That said, maybe the change could be to discourage theft?
  6. Wow, this does make me feel old. I remember finding a link to BZPower from the Wikipedia Bionicle page around '06, lurking around for two years, and then finally actually joining BZPower as a member around '08. So I guess that makes me a member for more than half of BZPower's history!
  7. Those collectible minifigs are going to be fun to try to guess from feeling the packages... That teal Bionicle ball joint is beautiful! Is it the same shade of teal as the teal from 2001 Kongu and Tarakava? Also, is it just me, or is there a new neck piece on these Unikitties?
  8. Love the creative parts usage in the head! Is that a Galidor part in the torso that I see?
  9. This is pretty sad to me. I still remember getting a bunch of my Toa Mata and Toa Nuva from Toys R Us back in 2002, and their Bricktober promotions were always pretty cool.
  10. I found the Bionicle page on Wikipedia, which had a link to the BZPower Official Greg Discussion. I think I lurked for about 2 years before joining in 2008.
  11. I think my favorite was Island of Doom, since its darker tone was an interesting change from the previous years' books, and I loved the book's depiction of the Matoran on the Voya Nui Resistance Team, which reminded me a bit of the Chronicler's Company from MNOG. Journey's End was also great, but not sure if that counts here.
  12. My favorite would probably be Zane, although I also like Nya a lot as well.
  13. Random things I would like to see: Some kind of online serial connecting the new G3's story to G1 (but G3 doesn't have to start right where G1 left off)A MNOG-style story gameA mix of CCBS and G1-style piecesTeal and purple parts, mask packs with different colorsSome kind of McDonald's promotional sets with actual Lego piecesBiomechanical dinosaur setsA new Proto-SquadA Lego Bionicle Movie (would be hilarious if there were Bionicle-sized figures and minifigures together in the same movie)
  14. I didn't start watching the show until last year, but overall I feel like the story has been getting better and more cohesive. I also like that we've been learning more about the background and history of Ninjago with the later seasons. Set-wise, I feel like quality has had ups and downs, but on average it's remained about the same. I do think the larger sets have been improving, but the smaller sets from recent years have been less appealing to me than the smaller sets from Ninjago's early years.
  15. This is pretty cool news! It's great to hear that Lego has found a way to use plant-based plastics while still maintaining good quality.
  16. I think of Taipu as wearing a Pakari since that way he matches Onua.
  17. I love the LoMN soundtrack! Haven't gotten around to listening to WoS yet, but I'm really glad these were all finally released.
  18. Never got a Lava Beast before, so I'm really glad I was able to finally get one before they ran out! Thanks so much for this opportunity!
  19. Mask of Creation and the Protector masks.
  20. Now we just need to wait for Lego to re-release Bionicle.
  21. Dunno if anyone's noticed this yet, but Faber Files has posted something today related to the news.
