Liopleurodon

I found this whole announcement very unexpected. Even with all the doomsday rumors going around, I'd figured that G2 would at least end up going into 2017. Looking back on the past two years, while I don't feel that I've been as engaged in G2's story as G1's, I did feel the new G2 sets had a lot of strong points - the 2015 winter sets seemed promising, especially since they 1) were able to reintegrate gear functions with poseability (a significant pro when compared to most of G1's later sets), 2) weren't clone sets, and 3) the Toa actually resembled their 2001 counterparts. I was actually looking forward to seeing the 2017 Bionicle sets, but I guess that's no longer going to be a reality... Maybe Lego can release Slizers/Throwbots G2 next?

It's beautiful. Very nice mix of the CCBS and G1 parts.

The top of the caption on the right reads, "THE FIGHT FOR THE MASKS OF UNITY BEGINS!" What's that supposed to mean? Are the new gold masks the Masks of Unity?

That staircase is beautiful. Also, I chuckled at the random "POLICE" brick on the outer wall. Congrats on being featured on the front page!

Hehe, I'm applying to college this year too. Out of curiosity, would mentioning Bionicle/Lego anywhere on college apps be a good idea, or would colleges see it as too nerdy/kiddy?

I think the ones we've seen so far are probably decorative. They look kinda like simplified Mayan carvings.

I'd like to see some sort of cameo with the original MU. Maybe have Vezon suddenly show up?

I think Matoro. If we took away the fact that he sacrificed himself to save the MU, he'd be pretty boring.

Surprised that they ripped off the name too. Last I knew, these knockoffs at least had different names from the legit Lego sets.

I wanted to see Mata Nui return with Makuta, or have neither name return. Ekimu sounds like a Babylonian god or something to me.

I'd definitely like to see something like this. I never got the McToran back in 2001.

Probably Pohatu. He was not my first Toa, but I like his mask the most.

I don't think anyone out of my family knows about it. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone at school who's into Bionicle.

The canisters somehow end up on Mata Nui. The Toa Inika find a boat left on Mata Nui and use it to sail to Voya Nui. When they get there, they find that the Piraka have already enslaved the Toa Nuva and Matoran reistence team. The Piraka reach the Mask of Life first, but are transformed into its guardians like with Vezon. The Toa Inika fight Vezon and the rest of the Piraka for the mask but still end up winning. Tuyet from the Toa Empire defeats Takanuva, finds out about the main universe MU, and uses the Olmak to teleport there and conquer everyone.

Out comes the Mask of Destruction. In goes said mask.

I've been playing this, and it's really cool! Random notes/comments: The modeling is great!For some reason, the water coming out of the Kaukau Nuva on the cliff is pink.Is there a way to run or walk faster?Suggestion: I think the lighting is a little dark in some places (especially under the lilypads). Could you change the light settings so that it's brighter? In the original MNOG II, the shadows weren't as dark. Another possibility would be to add fog or mist under the lilypads.I really like the view underwater. Are there any cowrie shells and seaweed lying around anywhere?How do I get out of the water if I accidentally fall in? Is there a way for me to swim in the water?Is there supposed to be a random screw on the floor in Amaya's hut?By the way, I'd like to help you guys out with this project! I can do writing, music, or modeling (although I've only used Blender before for modeling).
