      Basically, I meant that while I don't think such stuff as "All Germans are fat, wear lederhosen and are constantly drunk" and "All Americans have no brain, are also fat and shoot their own shadow when they see it move" is actually true, but sometimes I do refer to it, but just for some weird joke no-one gets anyway.

      Sherlock has to be my favourite adaption of the Holmes novels, because it really keeps the feel of them despite being set in a whole different century. A lot of the adaptions I've tried to watch stray too far from the atmosphere of the novels (*cough*2009film*cough*) or are just a tad dull.
