  1. https://www.flickr.com/photos/114035403@N02/sets/72157648135061166/ A rogue Toa of erosion, Zambor has the mask of foresight. He is the last surviving member of his team, the Toa Troma. Previously a dark hunter, he has become a full-time mercenary employed by Skakdi warlords. He lost his eyes in an unfortunate shmelting accident. First Toa by me.
  2. Vote away, and feel free to point out any good choices that I've missed in the poll! [Edit] I've now added the rest of the Chronicler's Company! [Edit again] There is now a "No-one" option!
  3. Welcome, one and all, to another legend of Bionicle. I am Turaga Dume, and this is a tale of the Toa preceding me, many years after the Great Cataclysm. It all started in a place not far from here, in Le-Metru. A great danger, the Ryu, were plaguing the Matoran with no end in sight. They were giant plants, who absorbed and killed Matoran, or anything else. No one - or thing - was safe. The other Toa that could help were being killed by Makuta's Brotherhood, and the Le-Matoran were losing hope fast. Until the unthinkable happened... a new Toa was born... a Toa of Fire. Would anyone like to see this story advance? Post in the comments any suggestions, declarations, or celebrations!
  4. MAKAVA. Makava is a very strange Toa. Not much is known about his origin, but according to him the first thing he remembers is a vision of an immaculate white boardroom, surrounded by 'set designers' talking about whether to release him as an 'exclusive set' or not, but in the end he was dropped, at which point he suddenly woke up in a cave with no memory of the rest of his life except for one crucial fact: that he was just a character in a popular toy range, and that he was axed at an early development stage for being 'too overpowered'. On that day he also gained a strange voice in his head, which only he could hear. This voice said he was a set designer for BIONICLE, and that only Makava could hear him because of a mental link between them for some reason. No-one really knows this Toa's element, but Makava himself claims he is "The Toa of fourth-wall breaking", but some Matoran believe he is actually "The Toa of Laziness" as he doesn't really do much other than relax and, in his own words "sit on his fat arse all day", but occasionally he does help the other Toa protect Mata Nui, mainly to prove to the voice in his head that he is worth producing as a proper set someday. More pictures of Makava looking awesome here! Enjoy!
  5. The title says it all! Now, this isn't really a "best/worst" topic, but I think you can try to carefully say why you consider the selected team to be the best or worst in your opinion. Also, you're allowed to list a form of one team as your favorite, and a different form as your least favorite. Here's a sample of what that would look like: Dude says, "My favorite Toa team is the Toa Inika because of the 'tone' of the year they were in and they sported a revolutionary building system. But my least favorite is the Toa Mahri because they hardly expanded upon anything except for Kongu, who had an all-new torso." This is not my pick, however. My real favorite is the Toa Metru because of their setting, the character interactions, and Vakama! My least favorite, however, is the Toa Hordika for one reason, and one reason only: that left arm. By Mata Nui's lederhosen, those left arms are horrific compared to the right arms! You'll have to buy two of the same Hordika if you want better arms... That's really all. What about you?

    Toa Kotu

For years now I've made unhappy noises about Kotu's wasted potential. She's a Rahi tamer with a Rau, just for starters; if she could use her mask's power, that would make her so much better. But then there's also the fact that she's said to have a quick wit and a talent for pranking, and wouldn't she just be so much fun as a Toa? And she's Macku's best friend, supposedly. Those two, together, being awesome... But mostly Kotu. Because Kotu is awesome and got so little screen time compared to how awesome she could be. So I decided to draw her as a Toa. Lookit! (It's a thumbnail.) I based her design on the Toa Nuva (specifically, as they're depicted in BIONICLE: The Game) for the same reason Takanuva looked like them when he transformed. I liked the torso from B:TG particularly. Also, masks are hard. Her poor, asymmetrical eye holes...
  7. My self-moc is starring in an all-new movie about himself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiIklMY2Sc4&list=UUQK5qFqyIfJnppIOt6OnRug I hope you enjoy!
  8. This is Caernadak, a crippled Toa of Magnetism, also known as Bulletfingers: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Makuta-Miras/Caernadak/img_0049.jpg His right arm is robotic , and his left is permanently in a sling since he was stampeded by a herd of Kane-Ra. The idea here was to create something which really didn't look nice, something which looked as if it had been disassembled and then reassembled using the wrong pieces, and to make him look almost unfinished. And, to be honest, I think that I've done quite well! The Cordak mini-rockets in his fingers were, admittedly, just so that I could nickname him Bulletfingers. Comments and criticism are welcome.
  9. Not even becoming a Toa can heal all scars. While this creation is a bit more simplistic then some of my others, I thought I should post it anyway. The idea I had behind this build is that, while Piruk could possibly become a Toa who looked slightly similar to the Toa Inika, the weakened Matoran form he had been rebuilt into by Karzahni might cause adverse side effects. This led to irregularities in his toa form. As always feedback is appreciated. 10. "Remember? Remember what? How you left me for dead in the heat of battle?" |+| Flickr |+| Flavia, a Toa of Water from the Order of Mata Nui. Sent on a mission to take down a Brotherhood of Makuta fortress with Zanax, Ventus, and Sicarius, she supposedly perished when a Rahkshi stabbed her. But there's more to this Toa than meets the eye... I mainly built her so that I could play around with one of my new misprint Matatus, which were a birthday present from my dad.
  11. So m8s, I finally made a new FAZE klan image. if 2edgy4u don't look!

    OUR FINAL JUDGEMENT

This is my first piece of BIONICLE fan fic so constructive criticism is welcome on the review topic: http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/14036-our-final-judement-review-topic/ PROLOGUE From where Toa Zevvar stood in the small Parauri forest to the north of the vast Bota Magna region, he could just make out the city of New Atero, like a vivid beacon of light in the pitch-black ocean of the night. The city was beautiful, not just physically but also in its very concept; it represented the fact that unity could overcome any obstacle – Zevvar realised that he was being a little sentimental, but he liked the idea just the same. Taking one last look at the golden metropolis, he turned his head and continued his patrol of the night-time woodland. “Patrol” was hardly the word for it – although he was technically making the rounds of the forest to guard the city from what Turaga Onua would call “Spirits of Destruction”, this was his favourite terrain (despite him not being a toa of Air or “The Green”) and he was thoroughly enjoying himself. When the city’s world went to sleep, another one was just waking up and having late night breakfast: the nocturnal voices of hundreds of thousands of rahi and creatures chirruped, growled, buzzed and squawked their way into life. It was not like there was even much of a threat anymore: the Rock tribe had been disbanded and most of its open-minded former-members had been welcomed into other tribes. The Bone-Hunters became part of the Union and abandoned their nomadic ways, still violent but in a more…lawful way if at all possible. The Dark Hunter organization had gone into hiding; at least until things cleared up a bit (recent history had taken its toll and the aftermath would last for a while longer) but they would no doubt soon be selling their services of assassination and theft to the new civilisation. Zevvar’s train of thought was derailed by a sudden loud humming that filled the night air for a few seconds followed by a sound like fog horn and an intense burst of white light from the west of the forest, causing a huge flock of Ekera birds to fly squawking from their perch above the origin of the sound. The toa was just wondering what on Spherus could have made the noise when another blast of deafening sonics was unleashed, this time nearer. This was followed by a metallic voice declaring a string of incomprehensible jargon and a scream which was then cut off. Silence filled the forest. The Fe-Toa was struck by panic; on the whole, he had only two options: he could travel back to the city (which would take the best part of an hour) and get help from the toa there, by which time the thing or person making the noise might have killed more people (if that’s what it was doing – by the sound of that scream, this seemed to be the most likely occurrence) or his other option was to stay here and try to fight the thing himself before more people were killed (of course this option also had the possibility of him getting killed). Surely nothing in these woods was something a toa couldn’t handle? Surely? But Zevvar knew that the turaga had never expected something that one toa couldn’t handle, which was why he was here alone. Maybe…maybe it would be best for everyone if he went back to call for reinforcements…best for you, you mean, said his conscience. After all, he thought, I’m not exactly the heroic type…you’re a toa! The very word means hero! You cannot abandon your duty or you will never reach your destiny. Luckily, Zevvar didn’t have to make a choice; as he turned, he came mask to face with what at first glance would be considered a mass of titanic trees but, the toa realised, trees that hadn’t been there a moment ago. With a grinding of cogs and hissing of pistons, as slowly as the death of worlds, the thing unfolded itself into the shape of a colossal mechanical giant, roughly glatorianesque in shape, but four times the height of any toa and twice as wide. An uncontrollable sense of dread and awe routed Zevvar to the spot as one baleful eye ignited with cold blue fire in what he presumed to be the being’s head. His hands trembling, Zevvar tried to provoke his elemental power and reach out to the iron ore in the earth beneath the creature’s feet, but something pushed it back and contained it within his physical body. “What are you?” he asked in a hoarse whisper. In reply, the thing raised the pulsating, humming barrel of some of kind launcher until it was barely a meter away from Zevvar’s head. Then it said, in a voice as loud as thunder and as impassive and cold as steel: “I AM SALVATION” Then it fired. Much more to come
  13. Sida sighed. Today was the first day of her new training. She’d been relocated to Matero, a decision that was out of her hands. She wasn’t thrilled about being the rookie. It was never a role that suited her, and quite frankly she wanted to get training day over with. Having moved to a new city wasn’t helping. Sida had never lived in an industrial part of the world before. Everything was changing around her; everything was new. Familiarity was something thrown to the wind now, and the art of second-guessing and relearning was bound to follow. Another sigh escaped Sida’s lips. She had been sitting in a blank room for what felt like hours. Her left arm was pulled across her chest while she strummed her fingers on the table in front of her with her right hand. Her eyes were preoccupied with her left. There wasn’t anything terribly interesting about a blank wall, but then again she wasn’t hoping for anything interesting. Being alone with her thoughts normally suited her fine, however today Sida wanted time to pass. That was the only thing that made five minutes feel like a year. Finally the door Sida had been facing opened. “So, you’re our new transfer. Sida, right? The Toa of the green?” The voice was slightly coy. Sida turned her head away from the wall and met two newcomers. Both were tall figures clad in armor. The one that had spoken was no doubt in front; a Toa in orange and white with a cool smile on his face. Behind him stood a figure in blue and gold. She was smiling. “Welcome to HQ. It’s nice to finally meet our new brother. My name is Miln.” This time the Toa in back had spoken. “My name’s Tanu. I apologize for being blunt.” Tanu’s voice wasn’t any less smooth despite his apologetic speech. “Hrmph. Charmed.” Sida refused to move from her seat. “Wait… You’re female?” Tanu had hardly finished speaking when he was knocked off balance. Sida had, in one motion, stood and unleashed several vines which wrapped around Tanu’s torso with a firm grasp, knocking the table over in the process. Miln had tightened her stance in response, ready for battle. “Got a problem with that?” Sida’s voice was a low growl. “Heh. You’re pretty fast. We could use more Toa like you.” Tanu slowly placed a hand on Sida’s vine and they vaporized in what appeared to be liquid fire. “You’ll forgive our curiosity, Sida.” Miln had stepped between the two. “We will not demand an explanation should you not wish to provide one.” “Good.” Sida retracted her vines and loosened her stance. She was still standing boldly with her arms crossed. Miln and Tanu shared a look for a brief moment before one of them spoke. “Well, Sida, barring any further arguments, we should get you started. We could use all the help we can get with our latest case. I’ll meet you two there.” Tanu casually walked through the door and turned to the left before vanishing from Sida’s vision. “Sida, a moment, please?” Miln waved her hand and the table Sida had knocked over placed itself back up right. Two chairs moved to opposite ends of table, and Miln gestured for Sida to sit. Reluctantly, Sida took a seat and Miln sat across from her. “Pardon my asking this, but are you having any problems with being relocated here?” “So what if I am?” Sida stared, her eyes unrelenting, into Miln’s Hau. “Sida, while you’re here, we need you focused. Underlying emotions can be dangerous if unchecked, especially in our line of work. I understand we just met, but if you have any problems please feel free to talk to me.” “Why wouldn’t you just read my mind? It would save us these unnecessary questions.” Sida’s glare didn’t waver. Miln, however, seemed to shrug it off by shaking her head. “I assure you, I only tap into the consciousness of others in a state of crisis. Abuse of such a power is unethical.” “And when I had Tanu, that wasn’t a state of crisis?” “No.” Miln’s voice was bold, and her face solemn. “If you wanted to harm our organization, you chose an inopportune time. Your demeanor showed signs of clear aggravation, likely at what Tanu had said. While you did assault him, you merely bound him and left no physical damage. At best that’s a petty disagreement between Toa.” “… I see.” “If you’re interested, I could help you with your emotional state.” “How so?” “I can use psionic energy to tap into your emotional state, with your consent, of course. It won’t alter your thoughts or memories, but it will basically help you feel relaxed.” “I’m not following.” “Alright then,” Miln reached behind her and produced two golden discs around half the size of her hand. She proceeded to twirl one of them in her right hand. It spun around smoothly, forming the illusion of a sphere. “Imagine this is a balanced emotional state. This, however," Miln said, the second disk sputtering around wildly in her left hand, "is an emotionally unbalanced state. Sometimes we get angry or sad or what-have-you, and our emotions sometimes cause our actions to be biased. What I can do is alter this emotional state to an equilibrium to help remove bias caused by lingering emotion.” The disk in Miln’s right hand began slowly spiraling around the one on her left. Slowly but surely it wobbled less spastically and eventually matched the smooth rotation of its twin. It was like watching a dance. “Interesting. I’m afraid I’ll pass.” Sida never broke eye contact with Miln. “… Very well, it’s your decision.” Miln stopped the disks and put them away. “We should meet Tanu. He should be waiting for us at the morgue.” Miln stood and pushed her chair in. “A murder?” Sida followed her lead. “… We’re not sure.” Sida and Miln walked out of the room. A few turns, a walk up a staircase and two halls later, they reached the morgue. Miln hadn’t briefed her on the case so much as point out the facilities as they were passed. A lab for examining evidence, a sparring room for testing weapons and hand-to-hand combat, a robotics lab for creating and repairing robotic law enforcement, etc. Sida reflected on the last one. She’d heard stories about creatures named Vahki from the big city. As she recalled, that story didn’t end well. She asked, briefly, but was assured that they were “more state-of-the-art,” and that “measures were being taken to ensure they won’t be corrupted.” “There they are; my two favorite co-workers!” Tanu seemed to perk up as they entered the room. He was talking with a creature that was tall and lean. Its legs and arms were long, but its torso seemed more compact. Sida hadn’t met anyone quite like this before, however it was clear to her that the creature was completely mechanical. “It’s a bit early to act like old friends.” Sida sneered. “It’s also a bit early to act like bitter rivals.” Tanu chimed. “Sida,” Miln interjected, “this is one of our robotic officers. Here at HQ we have twenty two units total. Each is connected to one central computer system. Basically, they have access to information on any case in our records. They can even access information instantly on units currently on patrol; their position, status, and the current state of certain areas of this sector in the city.” Sida looked at the robot in front of her. It stared back, as if awaiting orders. “Only this sector?” “They’re prototypes.” Tanu wrapped his arm around the robot’s shoulders. “A Toa engineer came up with their design, and so far they’ve proven very effective. I’ve named this one Che.” “They are very easy to interact with. Why don’t you try it out? Ask about case 8-5-3-5.” Miln gestured towards Che. “… Che…” Sida glared at Tanu briefly. “Please tell me about case 8-5-3-5.” “Accessing case 8-5-3-5… Complete. What would you like to know?” The mechanical Che did not express much emotion in its speaking. Its voice was low. “Erm…” Sida wasn’t sure how to continue. “Che, please provide an overview of the case.” Tanu demonstrated. His voice seemed to tighten while he gave the command. “Overview: Two days ago a body was discovered in Southern Matero. The deceased is an Agori of unknown element. No visible injuries were found on the body; however a strange mask is covering the head completely. The cause of death is uncertain; however it is thought to be asphyxiation. There is no record of any witnesses to the death of the deceased. The body was discovered abandoned in an alley by Patrol Unit 019.” Everything was stated plainly. “The victim is here. We’ve taken to calling him Urnu.” Miln pulled on a bar sticking out of the wall, and revealed a bed with a body covered in a white sheet. Tanu pulled the sheet back down to the body’s mid-torso. Sida looked at the mask. She had never seen anything quite like it before. It was green and ugly, with large fangs sticking upwards from its mouth and a glare set in stone. Sure enough, the mask surrounded the head completely, and there were no visible signs that it could be removed. “Our friends in the lab have tried many techniques to remove this thing.” Tanu’s voice was low. “Nothing has worked so far.” “The lab sent us the mask in hopes that we might be able to find something they overlooked.” Miln stepped in front of Tanu and gestured for the two of them to step back. “I’m going to try to see if I can find something within the mask’s interior.” She closed her eyes and concentrated. A few moments passed when Miln let out a gasp and stumbled to the floor. “What’s wrong?” Sida managed to catch Miln before she hit the floor. “Miln? Miln, are you alright?” As if responding to Tanu’s words, Miln opened her eyes and shook her head quickly as she woke. “I’m sorry, I’m not sure what happened.” It was around this time that all three Toa looked up to the bed. Urnu was sitting up. A piercing scream filled the room, and Urnu jumped and ran for the door. Che was the first to give pursuit, running forward with impressive speed. Sida pushed Miln towards Tanu, who instinctively supported her and helped her stand. Sida ran after the two, not far behind. Che caught up to him and attempted to grab hold when Urnu turned and nimbly slipped passed his reach. Sida slid under Che, jumped back to her feet and continued her pursuit. The Agori was ten feet away, and the distance between them shortened. Sida saw how it moved; ducking and weaving around more oncoming robots, probably reacting to what Che had seen in the morgue. Sida quickly gave chase, ducking and weaving like the Agori. It was just like passing through the jungle back home. The chase continued for some time, until eventually her target made it outside HQ. Finally Sida had a clear shot. Five vines surrounded the Agori’s body and wrapped around tight. It was then that the vines dropped to the ground and Sida let out a scream. She stumbled forward, but managed to prevent herself from falling. Frustrated, she tried creating sturdy tree branches to entrap the masked fiend. The branches only managed to grow around a foot off the ground before their growth was halted. The last thing Sida recalled was a shrill screech before she lost consciousness. *** Sida woke in aggravation. “Well, look who finally came to.” Tanu was not helping. He was sitting a chair to the left of the bed she was in. He appeared to be fiddling with a glowing slab of stone. There wasn’t anyone else in the room, though there appeared to be six beds total. “What happened to the Agori?” Sida’s voice was groggy as she slowly sat up. “… Dead.” Sida’s mind froze for a moment. Dubiously, she turned to look at Tanu, who proceeded to stand and walk up to her side. “Here, you should see for yourself.” Tanu placed the flat, rectangular slab in front of Sida. It was displaying a video of her pursuit from earlier. Eventually at one point, she fell to the floor. The events following that were perplexing. The mask on Urnu opened and seemed to regress to the size of a normal kanohi. The mask fell to the ground and the Agori with it. Both lay unmoving as half a dozen robots moved in and surrounded the area. Tanu stopped the video. “What we appear to be dealing with,” Tanu explained, “is a strange case. We don’t know exactly what that mask is or where it came from. Our lab currently has it in custody, trying further experiments to find out what exactly it is and how it works. Between what happened with you and Miln, the popular theory is that it fed off of elemental energy. Of course that’s just a guess at this point.” “…Why did I faint?” “… We’re guessing that thing set loose some sort of signal. Our robotic officers’ recordings managed to pick up some strange background noise right as you fell to the ground. It didn’t do much to our metal friends, but it sure took its toll on the three of us.” “You mean you and Miln?” “We’re both fine. We were still inside the building when it happened, so we were only out for around ten minutes. In your case, the effects lasted around an hour.” Tanu and Sida appeared to be staring at the same wall. “I should be thanking you. You were fast enough to catch that thing before it reached the rest of the city.” Sida got out of the bed and started heading for the door. “Thank me some other time. This is far from over.” Sida sighed. Life in the city of Matero was already proving far more tedious than she had anticipated. --------------------------- This short story is a part of a collaboration I'm in with a couple of dweebs. These series of short stories we are currently releasing are a warm-up for our upcoming epic, Volition. These short stories are done independently and are to be considered "semi-canon" for our epic. ~Trivia~ The name Urnu is a shortened form of Ur-nohi. BZP member Tolkien has been working on the Matoran language and after I asked, he posed the words "Ur-nohi" or "Urnu" to mean "faceless" Sida's name is pronounced [see-dah] however Miln and Tanu have been mispronouncing it as [side-ah]. Sida feels correcting them would be a waste of time and finds such matters trivial. I chose the number 8535 for the case file because it is Toa Lewa Mata's set number. Sida's character started from a simple MOC I did.
  14. Vanquisher of Dragons, Runner of Blockades, and Hero of Naho Bay, may I present: Toa Naho ^Link to Gallery^ Wielding a Kanohi Kakama and twin Tide Daggers, this Toa of Water is ready to take on any foe, be it Kanohi Dragon or Dark Hunters. This was just a quick MOC to use some of my new masks and to get some creative juices flowing, but I'm very proud of how it turned out. The original idea was based on a sketch (bottom right corner) I started for Bonesiii's Destiny of Bionicle, but never finished. It turns out that most of my blue pieces are at Brickfair, so the legs are a bit more silver than I would have liked, but I think she looks good. Please Comment, Critique, and Enjoy!

  16. "This one -- this one has many layers. He is cold. But I sense his frosty exterior may hide a blazing fire deep within..." Flickr Gallery Kopaka Mata was my earliest set (discounting the McToran), and as such, I thought it would be fitting to recreate him in all his icy glory. I really need to get a good light tent.
  17. Am I the only one that thinks it was really weird that the Toa Mahrii had to go underwater? I mean, going underwater wasn't the weird part, but imagine them fighting the Barraki, they would have to be going pretty darn slow. True, the Barraki are probably more built to move around underwater as they are mutated. But the toa would still be moving pretty slow, even though their armor was changed. Or are toa big/strong enough that they can move through water like we move through air? I doubt it, but I'm open to hear what you guys and gals have to say.
  18. So, over the course of Bionicle's life, we've gotten several toa body types ranging from the mata to... well Tahu's disgusting agori thing, if that abomination even counts. Toa are the central characters of Bionicle so what style is the most appealing to you? Which looks the best? Which has the most pose ability/functionality? Which is your least favorite? Why? So many question marks?
  19. This creation is my personal take on Toa Zaria. This Toa of Iron is one of the last of his kind and he appeared as one of the three Toa introduced in the story serial, "The Yesterday Quest." (links to higher resolution images under the pictures) https://www.flickr.com/photos/lubrickon/14891537625/ Since Zaria's page on BS01 ( http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Zaria ) listed him as having metallic grey and burnt orange armor and listed his Kanohi as "unknown," I decided to give him a burnt orange Kakama. https://www.flickr.com/photos/lubrickon/14891210742/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/lubrickon/14891210022/
  20. Prologue I remember the time I was created a long time ago, created by a Toa of Air whose name I always seem to never remember. When that Toa of Air created me and my first glance was him smiling and staring at me. He said, "Welcome to the world, Cerebron it is I your creator.". I then remember glancing at him and then I got out of my pod that I happened to have been in when he made me. I then looked at him and I remember my first words were, "Cerebron, is that my name?" I said to him in question. He then replied "Why yes that is your name Toa, your name is Cerebron." and after he had said that I then smiled and liked my name. The Toa of Air who created me explain to me that I was the first Toa of Plasma to be created without needing of Matoran being involved. I happened to already have known about what the world around me was, it was as if the Toa of Air happened to install a database of various information when I was being made. I knew what a Toa was, I knew what a Matoran was, I even knew about the Great Spirit Mata Nui. The Toa of Air helped me become a stronger Toa, and me and him began to develop a special bond between us, I felt as if he was like a brother. The Toa of Air was a very caring and kind Toa to me, as I was towards him as well. I hoped me and him would be stay together forever and remain close brothers, but sadly that did not happen... Because one day he was killed by a Makuta who said that I was special. I wondered what did that Makuta meant that I was "special", I still in fact do wonder about it to this very day. Coming back to my early days, when I found my "brother" the Toa of Air laying on the ground as a lifeless corpse of scrap metal, I was emotionally struck with great despair and sadness. This then later grew into hatred, which I then began to just hate Makutas. After had mourned the loss of my "brother". I buried him on a island located in the Southern Islands, I kept his weapons and his mask for remembrance of him. After all he was my creator he made me come into existence, and I still thank him for doing so. Afterwards I fled to Metru Nui, as I tried to leave my past behind. Back then Metru Nui was still being created it was half way finished being made. There was still a lot construction going on there, in fact I decided to be kind and caring and as I result I helped fund the construction of Metru Nui. I knew my "brother" would of been proud of me for helping out. I remained in Metru Nui for years, even after when the island city was finished being made. I thought the thing that had changed my entire was when my "brother" was killed, but unfortunately I was however wrong, because when the Toa/Dark Hunter War broken out it changed my life even more. I can remember the time when I was stationed in Ta Metru at the time of the war. So here I begin my story of when I was in the Toa/Dark Hunter War. This was the first time I perhaps befriended another Toa or bunch of Toa. Chapter 1 It was the middle of the night in Ta Metru, the sky was blocked by smog coming from the furnaces of Ta Metru. Fighting would be heard here and there, but just not as often. I was standing in the streets of downtown Ta Metru and I was knowing that someone was watching me, but I wondered who. I stood up straight and walked into the middle of the vacant quiet street. I looked around to see if their was anyone here with me, I kept on looking in every direction to see if I could spot a suspicious Dark Hunter who might of been stalking me. I happened to have been armed with weapon at the time, I had with me was a silver dagger and Plasma Sword with me. I was armed just in case if anyone were to attack me at any given moment. And I wasn't going to go down without a fight. After five minutes of looking around to see if anyone was there, I then turned myself around and was about to walk somewhere else in Ta Metru. But suddenly I heard sudden movement behind me, and I was then hit the back of the head by a Dark Hunter's metal spear. I was lucky and I didn't got badly hurt from the hit, so I then got back up onto my feet and I grabbed my Plasma Sword and gripped it tightly in my right hand. "Who are you Dark Hunter?" I asked him, as I had a serious battle look on my face. I wanted answers, I was always like this whenever I was battling a enemy I always would ask it's name, unless if it was a Rahi. "I am Primal, I am just like many Dark Hunters there is." he replied as I then glanced at his face, his face was colored white, he had a head like that of a Visorak and he had glowing bluish green eyes. He had two arms that had claws on each of his hands, in one of his hands he held was a metal spear that he used in combat. He had four legs and a stinger tail on the back of him. He looked like he must of been a Rahi that had became sapient. As he finished what he said to me, he then pierced his spear through my metal chest and I then reacted by shooting beam of liquid boiling plasma from my Plasma Sword I had in my right hand. The Dark Hunter, Primal was then hit in two left legs by my plasma, he led out a cry of pain as the plasma began to ate away his non-organic tissue. I watched as he gripped for a moment in pain and agony from my attack. I on the other hand had been dealing with serious pain in my lower metal ribs. It was beginning to hurt beyond Mata Nui, but I then sucked up the pain and got back to combat. Primal then led out his stinger tail and I then quickly responded by jumping out of the way of his tail. His tail missed me and then tried to hit me again, but it led to just another miss. I then saw a metal shield that was happening to be laying on the ground a few feet away from me. I then ran towards it and I grabbed it with my my left hand. Primal than hit me with his stinger tail, but lucky I had gave myself protection from the shield that I just picked up. As that I then out out my silver dagger from my leather bag and I then stabbed the Dark Hunter's tail with it. He then swore a bad word as he gripped in more pain. I then got back up and ran towards Primal and I then hit him on the head with the metal shield. He was hit on the head and then unhappy, he then grabbed me and threw me at a stone wall of a abandoned Kanohi shop that was behind me. I hit the wall and the shop collapsed on top of me. I was now buried underneath it. Meanwhile the Dark Hunter, Primal then laughed. "You call yourself a Toa? Well you are no longer a Toa of Plasma you are now nothing but a Toa of being Dead." He said as he laughed at now destroyed Kanohi shop. He then turned himself around and was about to leave the scene until I then got out of the ruins. "Maybe you should check twice when you kill a Toa, to see if it is dead or not." I said as I gave him a angry look at him as he glared in shock wondering how I managed to survive that. I then picked up a grey colored brick and I threw it at Primal's face and then I ran towards him. He then struggled as I sat on top of him, he said "Get off of me!" as he yelled while he struggled to break free from me. "I am going to break your two legs, because you deserve to be left a short-lived mark from a Toa like me." I said to him as I then grabbed his right back leg and I snapped it in half. The Dark Hunter led out a cry of pain. Then I snapped his other back leg in half, where he than again cried in pain as well. He then said "Alright Toa, you win this battle. But I will get my revenge upon you eventually one day!" he yelled as he crawled from defeat into the distance, where I didn't see him again after that. I then brushed myself off with my hands and I then coughed as I had a few dust from smoke in the air that were in my mechanical lungs. I then grabbed my Plasma Sword off the ground. "Well I guess I should go back to the fortress in Ga Metru, they'll need me there to help out..." I said to myself as I then walked into the night heading to Ga Metru. End of Chapter 1
  21. Do you guys think the Toa Nuva could still become Kaita after receiving their adaptive armor? Could other teams of Toa become Kaita as well? Matoran, Bohrok-kal, and Rahkshi can all form Kaitas, why not other toa like the Inika/Mahri, or the Metru/Hordika?

  23. Hello everyone this is my first epic The Return of the Toa. Review Topic link http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/13920-review-topic-the-return-of-the-toa/ This may be a little different from most epics due to my writing style . It will be Written mainly in a script format so when you read it each character`s name will be on the left side like this. Character 1 - Hello. Character 2- Oh hello there . If something is written with in these [] it means that it is a action done by the stated character . Anyway now that the rules for the series are over here is the series prolog . Prolog. Narrator-wellcome my friends we gather again to hear the legends of the Toa . Long ago a mighty battle was fought here on SpheresMagna between the evil makuta and the mighty Mata Nui . Their battle was a hard one and many died in the battle but eventually with the Help of the Toa tahu and the other Toa of the world were able to weaken the makuta where Mata nui could destroy is body and burry it beneath the world . That was many thousands of years ago and since then the Toa eventually completed their destinies and became Turaga . before long the Toa had all but died out and eventually there legend slipped in to myth . The Turaga tried to keep the legends of the toa alive but they could not eventually the matoren of spheresmagna just thought of them as stories meant for a nice night by the fire , But soon three matoren would soon find that the legends where true . ACT 1 SCENE 1 [Ry a po-Matoren walks out of his condo in New Metru Nui and watches the ships fly past and then sits down on his patio sighing as a Ga-Matoren named Asa walks out to meet him ] Asa- Ry are you alright ? You never come out here and just sit unless something is wrong . Ry- I`m fine Asa , I have just been thinking what it would have been like back in the days of the great war . Asa -you mean that old fairy tell we learned when we were younger ? Come on would you really want to live in a time of terror like that I mean if the story is true at all. Ry- You don`t believe it? Asa- I think a big war did happen long ago but I doubt it had a bunch of giant robots fighting around , and come on a ancient all knowing being that used his last ounce of power to bring life back to this planet that's a little far fetched don`t you think? Ry- You may be right but wouldn't it be fun to be a Toa , you know running around saving the day and all that . Asa- I am fine where I am you have always been the more adventures type . Now hurry up and get ready to go or we will be late for work . Ry- Oh yea I almost forgot thanks for reminding me . [ The two matoren get ready to go and they head to the Kardi Labs ] Scene 2 [Ry and Asa walk in the doors of the facility .] Ry-I got to head to the lab we are getting really close to a break through in a new energy source . Asa- Great well while you are creating that I`m stuck on tour duty so see you around . Ry- Bye. [ They separate and head there own ways , Ry walking to his laboratory where there is a ko- Matoren sitting at a desk studying a strange green ad glowing stone ] Ry- Any news on the rock Idure? Idure- Its still emitting the energy and once we get the last few parts in place on the generator we can see if it is possible to control the energy . Ry-good I`ll go get to work on that . [ Ry picks up some tools and heads to a room with a large machine in it and he starts to work on the machine ] Idure-[under his breath as he picks up the green glowing stone ] you will grant untold power I know it but I cant let that glorified mechanic use you for his plan no you will be mine . Mean while Asa- Hello I am Asa I`ll be your tour guide today [points to a glass wall that has matoren and Igori scientist testing and cataloging 12 different Rahi breeds ] Here at Kardi Labs we do many different test from breeding new rahi to new forms of energy and even the occasional mech suits . [ One of the young Igori in the tour group holds up his hand] Yes? Igori- do you have any of the old bohrok A friend of mine said that you have a bunch in your basement . Asa-[laughs slightly] no we do not the bohrok are old robots that no longer serve any use but that's a history lesson not for here . Any more Questions ? Meanwhile [Ry completes the machine ] Ry-There done ok bring the stone everything is ready . Idure-[brings the stone in and places it in the center of the machine and it activates as Ry sits down at a control panel ] Is it working? Ry- All systems are operational I just need to activate the barrier or the energy may be released all at once and who knows that could happen if it does that . Idure-[ Pulls out a plasma gun and aims it at Ry] You will do no such thing I know what will happen and I want it to happen . Ry- Idure are you insane it could cause a massive explosion . Idure-Maybe I am [ Idure shoots Ry in the shoulder and it knocks him away from the controls where he cant activate the barrier . The machine then starts to shake ] Ry- Idure don`t do this . Idure-Its to late now the power will be mine . [ Just then the Machine explodes ] Meanwhile Asa- And that is why we don`t allow vorox to work here .[ She hears the explosion and knows its from Ry`s lab.] Ry !! everyone please evacuate the lab for the moment do not worry it was most likely just a bad energy cell but its better safe then sorry .[ The tour group runs off as Asa Runs to the lab .] Ry ! Ry ! Are you in here ? Ry-Asa I`m in here. [she runs to him and picks him up] Asa- Oh my gosh you have been shot . Ry-That's not the worst of it look [Points at the machine and Asa looks over to see Idure in front of the stone ] Idure-Yes I feel it coming The power of the stone is free and its mine ! [ Just then twelve green beams of black energy shoot out of the stone and fly around the room as if they are alive and they fly in to the vents ] Ry-That can`t be good. Asa-That looks worse, look! [ Idure picks up the stone as a 13th beam of energy fly`s out and grabs his heart stone and Idure merges the stone with his heart stone and turns around his Eyes having turned red and black Crack like line forming on his mask and body .] Ry-I think we have a major problem . To be continued .
