Hero Factory Experimental Design
The Invisible Handman posted a topic in Bionicle-Based Creations>dir Experimental.HFF QQQ.HFF Gallery.HFF > Experimental.HFF The Hero Factory Experimental team push the boundaries of science by using new technologies on the field. Although not the most unified of teams, they always get the job done. Jack Rubicon A relatively new hero, Rubicon has been built to push beyond the thresholds of past hero's using a new secret power source alongside his hero core. His body glows with energy and he stands taller than most heroes, unfortunately his ego is bigger than most heroes as well. His faith in his personal might is such that he refuses to use any weapon but his fists. Griffin Hybrid The second hero of experimental team. After his old body was torn apart in a mission gone wrong, Hybrid volunteered to a procedure to be rebuilt with parts from other bots. Unfortunately he needed additional secondary Hero Cores installed to power these new parts and keep the influence from his new limbs in check. Hybrid is a powerful hero with multiple abilities, but although he tries his best, the additional Hero Cores and foreign limbs have not helped his psyche at all. Errol Gladius A veteran Hero who's succeeded in many missions, Gladius was the original test bed for the multi Hero core technology installed in Chimera. Although his earlier days were troubled after the incident where his cut off his arm, his multiple personalities eventually merged into one experienced warrior. Since then he's refused to get a replacement arm, though no one knows why. As the most experienced hero, he leads Experimental team in all missions, and is one of the few whom can get Rubicon to follow his orders. Flynn Blaze An ordinary rookie with a burning passion for heroism. Blaze is the ordinary hero of the team, equipped with a flame blaster and flaming fists. Despite his enthusiasm, the power of the experimental hero's causes him to doubt himself. While Blaze wonders about his position in the experimental team, he does serve to keep the group grounded. > QQQ.HFF Error (^"$&*$%EVAEL%^)*WON@>>::@ ) ??? You should not be reading this. "Fish" enemy in BIONICLE Heroes?
TommyG posted a topic in Bionicle DiscussionIn my research for the third section of Volitak_Boxor's alternate model database project, I've heard in BIONICLE Heroes (on the BIONICLE Wikia) that among the three other Rahi of the game (Fikou, Visorak and the dragonfly-like thing), there is a fourth Rahi that is a destroyable enemy that leaves currency and is a fish-like creature. Can anyone give me some more information or a picture of this thing?
Something for the holiday season
Geardirector posted a blog entry in blogs_blog_1882Well, would you look at that, I have a blog now, isn’t that a delight? Before I belt, I’d like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the one who made this possible: A certain Alaskan acquaintance of mine known as Voxumo. He had won a six-month premier membership voucher in a contest and decided to give it to me since he was already a Premier Member. I'm grateful to get this opportunity, or I would be if I honestly felt like I had a whole lot to say. I probably don't, but some worthwhile blurbs are bound to be rolling around in my head. So we'll see how many of those I can get on here in a proper and orderly manner. Now, with that said, I’d like to start on a strong note, and I know just the thing, we’re in the middle of December, after all, and that makes the perfect opportunity to tell all you guys about someone who’s extremely important to me. Before anything else, just take a listen to this: What’d you think of that? Was it cute, comforting, serene or horrendously chaste? Music is pretty subjective, after all. Well, to me, this sound is synonymous with the Christmas spirit… and with one of my all-time heroes. Say hello to Shoemaker Andersen: This guy… oh man, this guy. He’s from a Norwegian Christmas series that roughly translated is called “Christmas at Shoemaker’s Street”, and it’s a holiday tradition in my house to view it every Christmas. Every day from the 1st of December to Christmas Eve, Andersen counts down the days to Christmas with us, taking a paltry 15 minutes of our time to share the day’s quaint, simple little lesson of the day. And every year, I swear, ever single year when he squints through his glasses and says hello to me, an esteemed member of the viewing audience, I feel something warm and fuzzy tingle through me. There’s just something about that warm smile of his that never ceases to make me feel indescribably good in return, and that’s only the tip of the iceberg. Shoemaker Andersen is a simple and gentle soul, and he never turns away someone in need, he always has time for other people, and he’s never unwilling to lend a helping hand to those who need it. Shoemaker Andersen’s earnestness and simple outlook on life is a blast to experience, year after year, as I delight in the charming environment he inhabits and the slew of other memorable characters that he interacts with: Like the mail man, who no matter how busy he is, knows that there’s always a warm cup of coffee waiting for him at Andersen’s. Or Police Chief Klinke, who secretly plays board games with Andersen once a month. And let’s not forget Tøfflus, Andersen’s sentient slipper, who lives in his desk and whose favorite food is parsley (which is just fun to say and funnier still to type). Shoemaker Andersen is one of my heroes; he’s someone I strive to be more like, for he’s a genuine inspiration to me: such kindness, such love he shows for his fellow human beings. So a happy December to all, remember your heroes, because everyone needs them. Best wishes - Ole Fredrik Skjegstad
My Hero Factory MOC Compilation
turtleman posted a topic in Bionicle-Based CreationsALERT: All Heroes to the Sector C-8. The Shadow has been sighted fighting Nagos. Repeat the Shadow has been spotted. Nagos has risen a fearsome Ogre. Defend the civilians. Repeat Sector C-8 IMMEDIATLY. Name: Ogre Species: Unknown Weapon: Claws, Strength Affiliation: Nagos Bio: This hulking behemoth creature is Ogre. It has been mutated by the serpentine villain, Nagos. The Hero Factory is unsure of how Nagos came upon this monster, but scientists have concluded that he has some sort of psychic link with then creature. His massive claws, heavy and dense hooves and size make him a formidable enemy, be warned heroes. I think Ogre is my tallest MOC to date, he is about 12'' tall. I am extremely happy with how he came out. He is completely made of parts from hero factory sets, no bionicle, no technic. "Incoming!" Name: Zoom Species: Robot (hero) Weapon: Frost blade, his sword is extremely cold, if nescessary he can use the energy of his core to bring his sword down to almost absolute zero, freezing anything it touches. Affiliation: Hero Factory, The Law Bio: Zoom was created for solo combat. Using his extreme speed he can out run and out maneuver almost everyone. His jetpack and armor is specially designed for high g-forces. He has spent majority of his activation time tracking down the engima known as the "Shadow" and fighting Nagos. With Zoom I was trying to get a very robotic look Name: Nagos Species: Unknown Weapon: Giant Swords, His mind Affiliation: Unknown, but presumbly to the highest bidder Bio: Much is unknown about Nagos. What we at Hero Factory do know is that he commits random acts of violence and chaos. He steals, assassinates, kidnaps, every felony imaginable. There is no visible pattern to his actions, yet he is highly dangerous. Wherever he goes the "Shadow" follows doing his best to save those caught in his evil. I really wanted to build a naga after realizing how many of those arm pieces I have so I did. Name: Unknown, called "Shadow" Species: Unknown, some think he is a early prototype hero, others claim they have heard him call himself a "Toa" Affiliation: Good Weapons: Hand of Omega Destruction. According to eyewitness reports, the claws on his HoD can tear through the thickest armor and shoot bolts of shadow (we don't know what that means) Bio: He appears, he fights, he disappears There ya go all my MOCs that I have assembled now.
BIONICLE Heroes Nuparu Weapon
Kanakalackin posted a topic in Bionicle-Based CreationsHi guys, you probably all thought that this was an Onua claw, didn't you. Well, it's not. ^Click for LARGER Pic^ I got the idea while tinkering with new hand possibilities. I thought it looked okay, then I thought of a shrine for some reason, and I threw a zamor into it, and then I thought of Bionicle Heroes Nuparu and how much I like throwing atom-blast bombs at Bohrok for no reason. And that's how this came about. It's also pretty versatile as you'll find out when I build a B'Omarr Monk from Star Wars. So, yeah, C&C is welcome.
The Origin of the Toa Mata
Toasylar posted a topic in Bionicle Storyline & TheoriesThis is pure speculation, but please bear with me. In BIONICLE Heroes for GBA, the Toa Inika are defeated by the Piraka. Their masks are then scattered around Voya Nui. Six unnamed Matoran, each exposed to energized protodermis and each having found a Great Kanohi (Hau, Miru, Akaku, Kaukau, Pakari, Kakama) become Toa looking exactly like the Toa Mata, but with different weapons. Later, they are transformed into Toa Nuva and, after finding the Inika's organic masks, become identical copies of the Toa Inika. Eventually, they defeat each Piraka, Vezon, and Fenrakk. BUT... What if this happened in an alternate universe? Now, just imagine... In the prime universe, before Artakha and Karzahni had their falling-out, they used an Olmak to explore other dimensions. In the Bionicle Heroes GBA alternate universe, they find six Toa, whose names happen to be Tahu, Gali, Kopaka, Onua, Pohatu, and Lewa. They are then sent back into the prime reality, where Artakha and Karzahni experimented on them. They successfully brainwashed the Toa, removed their Nuva Armor, took the Nuva Masks that they were carrying and replaced their organic Kanohi with normal Great Masks: the Hau, Miru, Akaku, Kaukau, Pakari, and Kakama. When Artakha and Karzahni fought over the Mask of Creation, they parted ways; Artakha kept the Nuva masks and armor and Karzahni took the organic Kanohi. This is how Artakha was able to teleport Nuva Masks onto Mata Nui to help the Toa Nuva, and this also explains how Karzahni had organic masks when he put them on Jaller, Hewkii, Kongu, Hahli, Nuparu, and Matoro. The Toa, stripped of their memories, organic Kanohi, Nuva masks, and Nuva armor, were now simply Toa Mata. They were given new weapons and were sent to the Order of Mata Nui to be trained by Hydraxon, and as far as the Order was concerned, they were Toa who had never been Matoran Mind=Blown (0_o)

Archangel And Trace
Orka posted a topic in Bionicle-Based CreationsHere we are again, with yet another duo of mine, only this time instead of Toa, we have Hero Factory! The main problem I've been having with HF is that I've had some difficulty creating heroes with custom builds most likely due to a lack of creativity on my part, but still, I finally got over that and decided to make a few Heroes with parts left over from 2.0's and 3.0's that have already been upgraded to 3.0's and 4.0's, so without anymore stalling, I present "Archangel" and Thomas Trace. http://i357.photobuc.../Archangel1.jpg "Archangel" Originally a member of a special unit of Heroes, despite being issued a regular name, Archangel was also issued a Code-name he was to be addressed as to rookies and other Heroes until he felt he trusted them enough to be given his real name. Considering how, during his entire operational period he has never found one worthy of his real name, it's considered an honour to be able to address him as he truly is. Currently in a two-man squad with the rookie Thomas Trace, the special unit he descended from being long dissolved, he is a designated soldier with little regard for finesse or style when fighting villains. Versed in nearly every ranged weapon there is, Archangel prefers the brutal accuracy of the prototype Hero Factory Tri-Fire. A poweful assault-rifle with two modes, single fire and three-round burtst, it has many points for various upgrades to be placed, including an extended clip and bayonette. http://i357.photobuc.../Archangel2.jpg http://i357.photobuc.../Archangel3.jpg http://i357.photobuc.../Archangel4.jpg http://i357.photobuc...1996/Trace1.jpg Thomas Trace Once a high-ranking veteran Hero, Trace took a bad shot to the back of the head from pursuing Villains as he and his squad retreated after securing the cargo that they had been assigned to recover. The heavy damage from the Villain's weapon completely destroyed most of Trace's memory. Upon waking up, he had no idea who he was, but hard-wired into the remains of his memory was the skill-set he had before his unfortunate accident. Still, experience wise, he was still considered a rookie without his memories, and as a result, was heavily demoted, as well as assigned to a two-man squad with a Hero he probably wouldn't have even known about given his once high-status as Hero Factory's best Sniper. Unique in that he has an energied crossbow where a hand and a conventional sniper-rifle would be, Trace has proven that high-tech versions of low-tech weapons can surpass conventional weaponry in the hands of an amnesiac expert. Bladed for close-quarters combat, Trace is lethal at any range. http://i357.photobuc...1996/Trace2.jpg http://i357.photobuc...1996/Trace3.jpg ~...~ First attempt at unique heroes, lemme know how these turned out! Thanks in advance. Do not post images greater than 100 kB in BBC. -B6
My Hero Factory Characters
Toa Aerrow posted a topic in Bionicle-Based CreationsHello!! this is Toa Aerrow, and i have decided to show you my Hero Factory Characters. some are just like the sets, others are slightly different, and the rest are completely different. to place all the pics in this post would make it ridiculously long, so this is just the Index and all-around Reviews/Talkback topic. this post will be updated during today/this week (week if it takes longer), so you may need to check back later.
