So I hear a lot of great things about the mctoran and how nostalgic they are, but are they really solid sets (for what they are)? Does their quality match up with their size? One day in the future when I can I'd like to buy one (or all, but first probably just one) of the mctoran, and I'd like to know which one you think looks the coolest. At the moment I'm leaning towards Onepu because I love purple and the Pakari but I'd like to hear some of your wisdom!
Looking for Tohunga Posters (and Polybags)
Illuminatus posted a topic in Buy/Sell/TradeHey, everyone. I'm looking to obtain four of the original 2001 instruction posters of the Tohunga/Matoran that came in McDonald's Happy Meals. The ones I'm looking for are Onepu's, Huki's, Maku's and Matoro's. I'd basically like to have a full set of Tohunga, including posters, but I'm not sure if ordering four mint condition polybags from the US is worth it, considering I intend to open them. Right now I have two opened Jala and Kongu sets (both McDonald's releases); I still keep their polybags and posters. It'd be nice to have a poster and polybag per Tohunga, but the polybags are low priority. I'm only interested in US releases of polybags and posters, not later releases.

Hakuna Vakama, a MNOLG Edit Animation
Onuki posted a topic in Fan Created MediaHi, BZPower! I’m here to post a short animation that I recently put together using Roablin’s MNOLG Kit and some other things from the MNOLG. It’s a kind of banner for my short news comedy, Hakuna Vakama. Click the image for the video! It’s not very complicated or very long, but I wanted to try something that could demonstrate the potential of Roablin and Matoran Onknu’s very nice kit! Thanks a lot to everyone who was involved with that project! Credit goes to Roablin, Matoran Onknu, Kojol, Bob 4104, Turahaga, and Takuma Nuva for the various parts of the MNOLG Kit and the MNOLG itself for the totem stones and background.
Can Tohunga fit on an Ussal?
Naota Takizawa posted a topic in Bionicle DiscussionIs it possible to make a Tohunga sit on an Ussal without modifying either set? Or do the sets have to be redesigned?
Staring Contest Continues, a MNOLG Edit
Onuki posted a topic in General ArtHave you ever been too lazy to use your imagination when reading a story? No? Well let me introduce this illustration for my news comedy Staring Contest Continues anyway (click for full size): Everything is based off the descriptions in the story, which is a quick read if you want to enjoy the art a little more. All the characters involved make appearances. This was my first test of Roablin’s very nice MNOLG Kit; this wouldn’t be possible without all his and others’ work! Thanks, guys! Credit goes to Roablin, Matoran Onknu, Kojol, Bob 4104, Turahaga, and Takuma Nuva for the various parts of the MNOLG Kit, the MNOLG itself for the Ko-Koro background, Lego for the R2-D2 image, and BZP for the letters from the old Mata Nui Alphabet Decoder.
Bonkle posted a topic in Bionicle-Based CreationsMOCing can be a lot of fun. You can find clever ways to use pieces, build some really cool stuff, and a lot more. Then there are those times when your idea looks better on paper. This is one of the latter moments. I can take more photos if you want.

ALL 2001 MISPRINTS/KANOHI/SETS/COMICS FOR SALE!
Reya posted a topic in Buy/Sell/TradeHi guys! Before I start: Prices are negotiable Unfortunately, I might have to sell off my beloved 2001 collection as I am in great need of money for college. I MIGHT NOT DEFINITELY sell, but I want to have deals on standby just in case it is a must! It pains me to sell it as I JUST recollected it all. I am in need of only cash. I only accept payment through Paypal and cash in Euros (buyer may send money via post at their own risk). All items are used but are in great condition and come from a smoke free home. The buyer must pay shipping and optional Paypal fees if you want buyer protection. I will do my best to make the package as compact as possible to ensure you get a fair shipping price. I live in Ireland and can send anywhere. Please note that, for now, I am only selling any canister/small sets in sets of 6, and would prefer to send sets without canisters and instructions even though I have them as this will keep your shipping bill from getting too expensive. I cannot find my instructions so unfortunately I cannot include them on request. Remember, all instructions are online anyways so you would be saving money on shipping! All sets are complete and come with their original pieces (like original Kanoka, Masks, Kraata, etc...). The price I have listed below account are for sets without canisters and instructions were applicable. This is a great opportunity for those looking to collect sets to make Kaita sets or fill the voids in their collection. So without further ado, here is my inventory: (prices are in $USD and orange means reserved) SETS: (PIC ATTACHED) All 6 Turaga: $50 All 6 McToran: $50 OR all 6 Turaga and Mctoran: $75 Manas: $105 Tarakava: $65 Muaka and Kane-ra: $80 Nui-Jaga: $50 Nui-Rama: $30 OR all 5 Rahi for $300 MASKS: (PICS ATTACHED) All 72 Kanohi with display racks: $250 All 14 Euro Misprints with display racks and Tohunga/Rahi masks (no Infected Hau): $250 Copper Komau, Copper Huna, TNGM, Chrome Hau, Infected Hau with display line: $75 All 6 Golden Kanohi from 2002: $20 All 3 2001 COMICS in mint condition - never opened before: $30 USD OTHER HAVES: All 6 Vahki: $24 Krekka/Nidhiki/Turaga Dume and Nivawk: $13 each Keetongu/Sidorak: $16 each Umbra/Axonn/Brutaka: $27 each (last two MIGHT not be for sale I'll decide but you can offer anyways) Ehlek: $5 Toa Matau: $4 each Everything I have is on that list so I do not have any extra collectibles. Can anyone tell me more about 8713?
TommyG posted a topic in Bionicle DiscussionThere seems to be a strong lack of more in depth information about the parts tub 8713, and I'm curious because it seemed to have McToran discs, masks and body pieces, so could you potentially make the McToran sets out of it?
McDonald's Bionicle Happy Meal Box
Art Vandelay posted a topic in Bionicle DiscussionI bought a NIP Jala McToran with the Happy Meal box he came in. I thought I'd share a picture since the box is kind of rare. (I mean, how many people actually kept the Happy Meal box? Not very many, I would imagine.) I thought this was a pretty good find then, at only $9.00 plus $9.99 for shipping.
Things I need
Kanakalackin posted a topic in Buy/Sell/TradeI recently acquired some random bionicle pieces and found three partial tohunga: Hekii, Onepu and Matoro. In order to complete them, I need these parts: 1 Sand blue Akaku1 Black Tohunga Body2 Dark Orange Tohunga feet2 Purple Tohunga feet1 Sand blue Tohunga foot1 Tan throwing arm1 Black Throwing Arm1 Tan regular arm1 Dark Grey Tohunga Headall discs (Kopaka, Onua, and Pohatu). If I can afford it, I would like to acquire the rest of the Tohunga: Jala, Maku, and Kongu. All with discs please. I also have two partial Bohrok Va (Kohrak and Gahlok) and would like to complete both of them. As well as Kazi. The pictures of my partial small sets are bellow. I also want to collect all 36 basic toa masks (red, blue, green, black, white, brown). I currently hold 1 of the collectible masks: the light blue pakari. I have pictures of my collectibles collection to make bargaining easier. Some items, such as the ammo (zamors, squids, etc.), I am short in, so I would like to collect more of those. Finally, is the red/orange zamor a misprint? Because the regular colored mahri nui zamors are bright yellow. Big Photo Partials To complete Kohrak Va, I need: x1, x1, x1, x1, x2, Bohrok Eye piece (Trans-Light Blue) x2, and Tohunga Foot (White) x1. For Gahlok Va I need everything except the hook and krana pictured HERE. I also have RoboRiders Frost, to complete him I need: x2.
