Considering Selling Trans-Yellow Kaukau
Illuminatus posted a topic in Buy/Sell/TradeI recently came into possession of a misprint 2001 trans-yellow Kanohi Kaukau. The mask is definitely an attractive one and I'm already rather fond of it, but I'm considering putting it up for sale if anyone is desperately trying to obtain it. Prices for the item on BrickLink seem to be unforgivably high right now; I'm seeing the standard price for the mask is $15-25, but that seems a bit too low for me on the other hand. The lowest I will consider selling the Kaukau for is $30, so anyone who really needs it but can't afford BrickLink can feel free to make me an offer. Shipping will be very cheap regardless of your location (I live in Bulgaria), and will include a tracking ID. UPDATE: Given the prices on BrickLink and recent interest, my minimum asking price for the mask will be $50. Here is a photo of it. Shipping will be $5 tops with tracking. I am also open for trades; I won't rush this, so anyone interested, please don't hesitate to contact me.

rednas3636 posted a topic in Bionicle-Based Creationsworked at this guy for a couple of years now.. might as well finish him for the fancy contest ^^ I removed all the grey rods and blue dots yesterday This one was pretty hard to make ( compared to my other mocs at least). If you look at the back, you'll see: Very few options to attach basically anything to each other. I struggled with the hips for a very long time: I wanted to use a metru limb, but it kept wobbling : / Of course, I only have one golden Kraahkan, but I made him asymmetrical to support that, like he was heavily damaged once and he had to repair himself. I awarely used a 2001 and a 2008 connector on his shoulders for example. left side right side another view of his back his sword (not very imaginative, but good enough to me) He had 17 points of articulation, most of them in the shoulders and upper arms. Which makes him cower behind his shield like a real powerhouse: Never thought I would use Skopio in a MOC. I really like the legs (and that's a first), I used parts from 2002 Threepio. I think this is a good contestant, because he looks like a big, mean cartoony villain actually. This is the folder with the remaining pictures (when public)
Decepticon Frostbyte - Original Transformer Moc
Zorrakh posted a topic in Bionicle-Based CreationsSo... This is pretty much the only MOC I made over the entire Summer. Guess where my priorities weren't. Anyways, so I saw all of Transformers: Animated, Beast Machines, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, and the first half of the original Transformers show (about episode 50-ish, about when the 80's movie takes place). I grew up with Beast Wars, so I saw most of the episodes, so I saw the ones I didn't see, but yeah, I want to make some TransforMOCs. Instead of doing what I usually do (making an already-created Transformer out of Bionicle), I wanted to do something original. After deciding to do a snowmobile (mainly because I had Cendox to base it off of), I looked up snowmobile on the Transformers wiki and didn't see one, so I picked that. That's also the reason the color scheme is what it is, so please keep that in mind. Some story elements: Frostbyte was an infamous sharpshooter and assasin in the Decepticon ranks, as well as one of the few Decepticons incapable of flight. He more than makes up for this with his special camo plating, his silence and coldness, and his ability to wait extremely long periods of time for his target. Frostbyte can blend into any background and even use the plating to adjust to normal temperatures and filter out uneccessary motions. When offline, however, the armor is bright yellow and black, which then makes him farily easy to spot. The armor also has some bugs in it, so it sometimes flickers on and off very briefly. Frostbyte was one of the Decepticons to leave with Megatron to track down and board the Ark, the Autobot's ship that departed to search for Energon. Since then, he has been stationed in Russia, Alaska, and Tibet to search for Energon as well as keep tabs on any Autobots that he encounters. Frostbyte is armed with a pair of dual arm guns as well as two large shredder swords.Vehicle ModeFrontLeftBackRightTransform!1234567891011Robot ModeFrontLeftBackRightGuns flipped backPretty much the only things I don't like are the arms and the feet when in vehicle mode. The arms stand out too much and I think there's too much of a gap between the feet as well. But, aside from that, I'm pretty happy. Oh, yeah, the shin pieces are supposed to be like the flames you see on motorcycles. Please comment and enjoy!
PBZP Z: Zyke the destroyer
Onewa7 posted a topic in Bionicle-Based CreationsTime for another PBZP to show... Zyke the destroyer requested a yellow and gunmetal or silver Skakdi with a zamor launcher and a battle axe. I chose to make him gunmetal because I have gunmetal Vezon heads but no silver ones. And gunmetal is cooler.Give him your cookies or he'll cut your head off!Front viewSide viewBack view and custom spineYes, I found an use for rhotuka spinner thingies as horns, and I added a bayonet to the zamor launcher like Kopaka's Midak blaster. Thoughts?
