I have been hard at work recreating some of my favorite masks. The only 3d model I did not create was the board game Ignika, this was a 3d model that I found on Thingiverse, that I remodeled to work with the 2001 Toa Mata Heads.

I am a serious collector of Bionicle masks. Aside from the unobtainables, there are very few Kanohi that I don't have. I'm been scouring the internet (BrickLink, BrickSet, Ebay) looking for anyone that has the 4-Hole Chin Pearl Gold Kraahkan. It came in the playset "Tower of Toa." If anyone knows where I can find one, I would really appreciate any leads! If anyone has one that they are willing to sell, I'd be willing to pay at least $50. http://imgur.com/a/4UH2w I'm going to start off by saying this build was largely experimental, this is not the final version of this character. (yes that mask is a 3D print, it costed me $45 USD without shipping. I seleted the "matte black steel" option) It was difficult making the torso proportional to his legs because I wanted to include as much detail as the movie from possible, and this extended the middle of the legs quite a bit. I do like how large this figure is, but the mask looks a bit small on that torso compared to the movie. That will be taken care of in an updated version of him. I'm not sure if this looks too "busy", it was not easy to try and prevent pieces from looking they were slapped on, especially in the legs. I wish some of those technic pieces came in dark red, at least his hands match some of the movie color. Surprisingly he's very sturdy - don't ask me how that's possible with those ankle connections. I'll post instructions if people want them. Let me know what you think! Suggestions and criticism are welcome.

After Takutanuva was crushed and separated by that giant door, the Kraakan was said to have be smashed slightly (hence the loss of a 'vent' on the 2008 version), and the Avohkii came out unharmed (I assume). What's up with that? Was that just a movie/story plothole? -

Since this is a mostly plot-driven comic, your character may stick around for multiple comics - depending on the needs of that particular story arc - and then might not be seen again; or for potential "permanent" guest stars (who will most likely be given main character status for "season two"), while you may not be in every comic, your character will be a consistent presence in the overall narrative. The only issue is part availability; since I'm a college student with a somewhat well-paying job, I can easily buy necessary masks and parts from BrickLink as needed, but your character may have to wait until the parts are acquired for an appearance. Remember my Akaku Pumpkin? (It's a dead topic and all that.) Well, this year, I made a Kraahkan pumpkin carving.And in the light.So, I hope you like it! This has been a big question on my mind for a while, why does the kraahkan have two faces? I believe the serpentine head is the cannon verson, but the face with the big forehead just looks weird. Does anyone know why they put that there?
