Wade.
IC: Alfon Last I checked, the commander wasn't a dude. Still, I wouldn't really have known since I've never actually seen Skyra in the flesh, so I wasn't about to debate her gender with who was apparently her younger sister. A sheepish smile came over me. "Small world, eh?" I said, looking over my shoulder. "Hey, you know we should do? We should play a game." Wade.
IC: Alfon For the record, I love games. Can't live without 'em. Even as a grown man, if someone asked me to play tag with them, you can bet your house that I'll commit my life and soul to catching to the match. So when Mimira asked me what kind of game we should play, I almost tripped on the sheer amount I had dancing on my tongue. "Well..." I looked around. Whatever we played, it had to be simple indoorsy stuff. My first few ideas hit close to the classics, juvenile games like truth or dare, never have I ever, musical chairs, beer pong, charades, naked twister, the list goes on. Then I remembered that we had a kid around, and those weren't always appropriate. But hey, she hung out with pirates. Couldn't totally account for her innocence with that on the board. "How about we start with two truths and a lie? It's easy to play, all you gotta do is tell two truths about yourself, and a convincing lie; the others, as a group, only get one shot to figure out which one's the lie. Once they speak up and you tell them whether they're right or wrong, turn's done and you move on to the next person. Rinse and repeat." While everyone made sense of the rules, I took the opportunity to settle into a chair. "For example, I'll start. I can speak Skakdi fluently, I've never been to jail, and I have a plaque with my name on it at a karaoke bar in Ga-Koro. Go." Snelly
IC: "Hmmmm...." Mimira thought over her options, which one was the most likely to be a lie? She'd just met Alfon, so it was hard to say. silo
IC: Silo - Ta-KoroI have to admit that there's a slight swagger to my stride as I step into Ta-Koro, that fiery fortress of a city. I know deep down that I'm getting overconfident, but I don't care! For now, at least, I'll savour the taste of smug victory, and enjoy the next couple of days. Yes...and when I find Rekhyt, I'll have a chance to catch up on current events. On the other hand, there might be another way, I think as I catch sight of a stand selling news-tablets. I don't have more than a few widgets on me, left over from my satchel's supply - almost all were paid to that irksome guard, with only those in my pocket left. If I bother to pay just to get informed, I'll be penniless...but I don't want to nick something just yet: I've had enough of cells for one day. No, no, I won't do it. I won't....OK, I just might.I help the salesman up as he mysteriously trips over his own feet, falling especially heavily onto the ground. I give him my best smile as he thanks me profusely, my body hiding the tablet I slip into my bag. See? I've always been a model citizen, I reflect as I continue on my journey, reading the tablet thoughtfully. I know, its bad: I should be able to resist myself, stop myself randomly committing what some people might call crimes. But unfortunately I'm in too much of a good mood at the moment to let my basically flawed character bring my down, so I carry on my way, mulling over what my next course of action will be. All the while I'm scrutinizing the news, looking for anything other than run-of-the-mill reports and everyday articles whose relevance to the bigger picture is nil. Keeper of Kraata
IC: This wasn't entirely for the matoran's benefit, Skorm reflected. Passing by the gate guards with company may deflect some potential... suspicion. Skorm put his hood back up as he approached the guards at the gate. He tugged the tip and nodded at the guard as he passed. He tried to ignore the stare he received back. Skorm wound through the crowds. Lots of ko-matoran; he had heard of the refugees. He might have to do something about that. He briefly considered the possibility of the onu-matoran losing sight of him, and realized it was next to impossible at his height. "Engineer. Hmm. At least, the Ta-Koro Party People were fully reunited - Taleen had walked into the bar first, followed by the Toa Maru of Ice, with a Toa of Lightning wearing blocky boxing gloves akin to a toy robot's fists parked squarely on his shoulders. Ducking nimbly to avoid taking her head off with the doorframe, Reordin shook Plagia off brusquely (albeit with the faintest hints of a grin on the left corner of his mouth) and walked over to the bar, motioning for a beer. The beleaguered bartender who had been serving various parts of the procession all afternoon slid one over; Reo chilled it with a touch and then twisted the cap off with his fist.
