IC: Drome "Yeah, let's find ourselves a bar. Maybe sell it to someone who has had a little... more alcohol than they should have." I suggested. If the person at the bar was drunk enough to buy the little stone Miru, then obviously we were doing them a favor, and cutting back their drinking money.

IC: Drome "I said I planned on working on being a better Toa. I never said it was going to happen in a few hours time." I grinned back, heading toward the nearest bar. Someone was going to want this little stone Miru, and hopefully, they would pay well for a cheap Po-Koro souvenir.

IC: Drome "I'm sure I will regret it, though it may be more of a few centuries." I joined in the laughter as we entered the bar, which was where the sale was going to take place. I thought over it for a few moments. "Yeah, I'll just yell." Subtlety was not my strong points. "Anyone want to buy a rare, collectible Miniature Stone Miru?!"

IC: Drome So maybe it was a slight exaggeration. If it helped get a few widgets, I was perfectly fine with that. "Only... three were ever made!" I pulled the little stone Miru from my pocket, holding it for all to see. "I'll give you a widget for it." "Only one widget? Surely it is worth at-least thirty!" I didn't even remember where I had gotten the thing, let alone what it was worth.

IC (Matan and Natan):The two Skakdi watched impassively as the funeral procession moved on past the Turaga’s hut. It was no unusual thing for a Skakdi of Zakaz to see a comrade die, so the death of some unknown matoran did not bother them as much as it did others in the crowd. What was interesting was that the dead matoran seemed to have been someone of importance, and that made the parade worth watching. When various parties had left to spread news of the death and prevent others from occurring, they approached the Turaga’s hut once again.Approaching the Turaga, the two Skakdi inclined their heads to the elder, and Matan spoke for the pair."Greetings, Turaga, and our consolations about losing your matoran friend. My brother Natan and I have but recently landed on this island, but already we can see the greatness of your realm. All around us, beings of all races prosper under your guidance." In the Skakdi's experience, it pays to keep your leader happy, and buttering them up gets you what you want. "Seeing this, we wish to raise a home for ourselves in your village. By the standards of our race, we are neither troublemakers nor anti-social. Also, we bring to your community skills of great worth, even as these toa here can attest, for we both are crafters and weapon smiths of some skill. See, we have restored their armor this morning, and would be glad to trade our services to others of the village."Here he gestured to the Toa Hyfeik, who had accompanied them since their meeting the previous evening. Matan tried to be as eloquent as possible while making his case. He needed the Turaga to see them as an asset to the village, not a liability to the fragile peace."Therefore, please grant us this request. We seek your leave to build ourselves lodging here in Le-koro, as well as a workshop where we may ply our trade. In return, we offer you our loyalty as warlord and will submit to your rule while under the shade of your forest. What say you?"What the Skakdi had said was true. Le-koro seemed a nice enough place, and it would be good to have the security of a place to live and work in, at least for now. There was still a lot the pair wanted to see and do of this strange island - they did not intend to stay permanently in the village of air, but it was as good a place to start as any, and it seemed prudent to have a recourse should their future activities require it.

IC: Kadon I looked at the customer. "Look, I'll cut you a special deal. It's clear you drive a hard bargain, and I can respect that. After all, you indubitably knew it was worth more than one widget yet thought you might same some money, and took the chance," I said, shamelessly buttering him up. We didn't need many widgets to secure a room and a meal. "So, here's my offer: 20 widgets.""10.""18.""13.""15, and that's my final offer."He hesitated. "Well..." OOC: OK, TDC. You can close the deal.. or not.

IC: Drome "And I'll also throw in this... rare spider!" I exclaimed, pulling the little dead spider from my gauntlet. "He's from an undiscovered species, until now!" The buyers eyes went a little wider. "I guess I could pay fifteen." He shuffled around, pulling out the widgets from his bag. I grinned, exchanging the money for the garbage. It was a good, good deal. As I exited the bar, I heard the person speaking to someone else. "Yeah, I've never seen one like it before." "I'm actually a Arachnologist. And that Toa was telling the truth, this is an undiscovered species! I will pay you one hundred widgets for it!" I hated my life some times.

IC: Kadon "I agree. If nessecary, we can sleep out in the open.. we're in a jungle, it's not like we'll freeze." I looked around at what other people were eating, having no idea what was availiable. After a few moments, I ordered my meal. "I'll have a bowl of soup.""Ten widgets, please."I grimaced and handed over the widgets, having only two left.

IC: Drome "Ten widgets..." I muttered rather surprised to myself. "Stupid inflation..." "I'll have a Mata Nui cow burger." I decided upon, after a little thought. "That will be seven widgets." I almost thought about trying to haggle down the food. But, I knew it was going to be overpriced after Kadon ordered. I removed the widgets, paying the waiter for my food. "Nothing better than sleeping outside... except reasonably priced food. Sadly, the latter has gone extinct."

IC - Kinika - Searching for AexiasHe'd located it.A long-since forgotten temple in Le-Koro. And he'd located it. It was said to contain riches beyond imagination. Well, and deadly snares, but that was expected. He had stumbled upon a scroll, with a confusing poem on it.In the deepWhere spiders creepAnd darkness rulesTo ward off foolsThere be a doorBuilt in the floorAnd a key, but you don't need it.What you will findWill blow your mindIf only you can see it.He found this interesting, and strangely enticing. But he would need a partner, someone to help find what would "blow his mind."Only problem? Where to find her.

IC: Dervian was out of wind energy. "I can't! But..." He activated his mask, and slapped himself, so that he landed on the bed of straw. "OW!" He managed to stand. "Get me...to an...inn..or something."

I.C. KranukaKranuka helped up Dervian and escorted him to the nearest inn he could find. Kranuka payed for one stay at the inn."Thanks for the rescue, how bad are you hurt?" he asked.

IC: (Kadon)"Side effect of hard times, I suppose. Hopefully, it'll be good." The soup arrived, and was in a bigger bowl than I had expected. I tasted it. "Not bad. The cook knows how to make his soup."I ate the soup, thinking. Now we would have to find somewhere else to spent the night, because I doubted that they had enough widgets for a room.

IC: DromeThe soup arrived, and it was rather large. This lead me to hope my burger would be of a size worthy of the over-price.It was. After taking an over sized bite from the burger, since I was quite hungry, I thought about how much a room would likely cost here. Probably more than i could afford on eight widgets...And if we needed more money, it was Kadon's turn to sell something. I found myself already missing the little wooden Miru.

OOC: Aexias doesn't wear much armor, JSYK. So if any people are nearby...Welllllllllllllllll...EDIT: No, that part of the post isn't just for interaction with those in the area who see. It's also showing something that any person going 'OMG Aexias wuz stripping' will probably not pick up on ;}IC: Finally, the turtle was done. Aexias stalked through the woods toward the campfire. She'd unzipped the front of her jumpsuit for comfortableness, and now as she sat right before the fire and carefully moved out the scorched shell to crack open with her swords, she felt the full heat of the fire heating her chest and stomach.Aaaaaaaaaah...How long has it been since that spot was last warmed? Dousing the fire with water she'd prepared beforehand, the assassin retreated back into her leanto. The shell opened beneath the advances of blade and Skakdi strength as though it was naught more than a bula berry. Now zipping up her front once more, she daintily carved up the meat and began to eat it off her swords.Mmm, good. Note to self: Need to eat more Shore Turtle when in civilization, mentally sighed the skakdi as she chewed through mouthfuls, thirty a time. The meat really was delicious. Of course, no reason it shouldn't have been when she'd been on the run for several years before.

IC: MimiraMimira tip toed around the koro cautiously, if any of the guards caught her out this late again, they'd tell Uncle Kongu on her. She didn't want that. She snuck into the bar. As she entered she called out. "BIG BROTHER!!! You in here? Helloo?" Mimira's voice was like that of a kid, cause after all, she was a kid. A rather rebellious one. Seeing her brother was not in the bar, she went over to the nearest bench, pouting to herself a little. "The big dope left without telling me again didn't he?" She said with an air of disappointment.OOC: NEW CHARACTER TIME! She is open for interaction to anyone in a restaurant, bar, or whatever.

IC: (Kadon)I bit my lip. I didn't have anything to sell, but didn't exactly want to reveal that to Drome. I was saved, though, when someone that sounded like a child yelled, "BIG BROTHER!!! You in here? Helloo?" I looked at Drome. "Ready to start being a Toa?"I walked up to the small Le-Matoran, who was female. I tried not to look too intimidating as I lowered myself to her level. "Hello. I heard that you need help looking for your big brother."

IC; Drome"I'll never be ready. But I can try." I remarked as I followed Kadon over to the Matoran. Unlike Kadon, I didn't try to make myself look less intimidating. I had metal fanged teeth welded on my mask. I wasn't exactly friendly looking even if I tried. And the spikes on my armor didn't help either."Yeah, we might be able to help."

IC - Kinika - Finding AexiasAh, he smelled fire. She was near, she must've been. He even saw a small makeshift hut. He made his way over to it. He smelled shell turtle, and realized how hungry he was."You know," he opened the door to look inside, "You can buy those for twenty widgets in Ga-Koro. And with all the toppings." Grinning, he tossed her a back of said currency."I have a proposition for you."

IC: MimiraMimira looked up at the two Toa with delight, "You will! YAY! My name is Mimira." Mimira jumped to her feet, excited."My brother's calls himself Snelly." She laughed when she said that. "He's a Toa of Air with a black Hau.""It's hard to find the big dope. He's always running off without telling me." She said with an air of fustration.

IC: DromeA took a few steps backwards to grab my Mata Nui Cow Burger off the table, taking another bite from it. It tasted too good, and cost far too much to just leave there."Well, any idea where your brother could have gone?" I asked, after finishing the bite. A black Hau, on a Toa of Air, unusual to say the least.I took another bite, part of the burger getting stuck on the spiked fangs welded around my mouth.

IC: MimiraMimira thought for a moment. "Well, I think I saw him somewhere by the airfield. But, I don't know where he went. I hope he didn't leave the koro again without telling me." Uncle Kongu probably knows, but I'll get in trouble if he finds out I'm not in my room... Mimira decided not to tell the Toa about that part.OOC: Kids these days... :P

IC: MimiraMimira didn't want to go back to her hut. She had to think of something quick."Uh...no, he's definitely not at home. I was just there! Can we look for him somewhere else?" She said pleadingly, not doing a very particularly good job at hiding the fact that she really didn't want to go back there.

She said to herself, a little louder than she should have.OOC: Did I just hit 1000 posts? Took me long enough :P

IC: DromeI was completely at a loss to what was going on. I was caught up in eating my burger while listening, then the Matoran just ran off, saying something about Kongu."You think we should track her down? Keep her from getting into any trouble?" I finished by burger, and popped my knuckles.I wasn't intending to hurt her, though Kadon may have taken me popping my knuckles as a sign of that.OOC: Congratulations! It only took you eight and a half years! .... which makes me think I post way too much.

IC: KadonI thought for an instant. "Well, would Toa watch a child run into a village at night knowing that she doesn't want to go home and just ignore it? I think not."With a sigh, I finished my soup and walked into the darkness. I was looking for a kid and didn't even know her name.I kept my voice low. "Don't yell or make undue noise. Remember, she's running from us."

IC: DromeI grinned at Kadon's comment as I walked out into the night air. And replied with a whisper. "I'm a Toa of Sonics, neither of us is going to be making any noise."My powers started dampening our every sound, making us unhearable as I followed Kadon into the darkened village. I was wondering if I was going to like being a better Toa, chasing after kids to keep them from getting into trouble at night.

IC: Kadon"Tracking her in this light will be nearly impossible.. shall I use my mask? I may not see her, considering the lighting and cover available."I thought it over. She couldn't have made it far, and she was a kid.. chances were, she'd take off if she thought we would find her. Maybe I could use that to my advantage..I stood still for a little while, then motioned at Drome to let him know to drop the sound barrier. "I have an idea," I whispered. "You watch in that direction and keep your eyes peeled. I think I can get her out of hiding." Then, I yelled, "I used my mask! I know exactly where you are! There's no use in hiding!"

IC: MimiraMimira peeked from the bushes. She didn't see anyone around. She decided to stay behind the bush just a little longer."Hehe. Those dorks will never find me!" She laughed, she quickly covered her mouth with her hand to muffle it.Then sure heard Kadon yell, "I used my mask! I know exactly where you are! There's no use in hiding!"Mimira winced when she heard that, had they found her? She wasn't sure, the Le-koran guards had used that trick before to catch her.Mimira, geting nervous, lost balance and fell over, making a loud thud. "Oof!"

IC: DromeI had been told I wasn't the brightest lightstone in the mine before, but I caught on to Kadon's plan quickly, and the sound field around him was dropped.I readied myself for then the Matoran decided to make a break for it. The problem would be not hurting her. I was a lot larger than a Matoran, and not use to stopping people without the use of my mace. I could use my Morning Star... but killing the Matoran was really the complete opposite of helping her, and the Toa code.Sometimes, I wish I could just smash something, not try to catch a Le-Matoran, the most agile and slippery of all, with just my hands. I should think about saving up for a net later. And then there was a thud. I silently moved a little closer to the location of the sound, still masking my noise.
