Then again, they pay for the server hosting or something, so that may be why they get free reign. :-/I will say in favor of Demonbaby that, when he's seriously trying to improve an area, he does a pretty good job. It's not that he's a bad builder, and in chat he seems pretty chill, but I'm just not comfortable with him having moderator powers. He accused me of being the griefer, and I don't even have OP. And I was trying to protect my house from griefers, but he decides I'm griefing my own house and kills me 5 times. While I won't say that BZPers are wholly innocent in the mess, their part in it is more sporadic - for example, testing out the /nuke command (inadvertently making me aware of the fact that it could apparently be targeted on specific players) than any sort of concerted effort to screw with the players.The official mods get no such concessions from me. Vincster and Darkwolf I respect as competent, responsible moderators - as I respected Fullmetal, before he was banned for the crimes of another. Josh, while his knowledge of server commands seemed lacking, seemed to have good intentions and was, if nothing else, pleasant to the players. Other moderators were indifferent, but those who have free reign now I hold in contempt. While it is true that the Golden Rule has always applied on this server - that those with the money do and have always made the rules - I thought, for a time, that the simple laws of capitalism - laws saying that, if you build it, they will come and praise your vision, and if you wreck it, they will scorn you and leave - would give them, if not a sense of humility and responsibility, then the prudence to pretend that they had such.This is not the case, as shown by their recent actions. There is nothing I can do on the server that I cannot do better offline, and so I will save myself the trouble of dealing with those who believe that might makes right, and, for the time being, will restrict my activities to single-player.To those who conducted themselves honorably on the server, I thank you for sharing in our great endeavors, apologize for my often choleric ranting, and wish you luck. The only people online in that timeframe were Mickbuilder, Mushbuilder, originalskater, comander_shepherd (Edit: Innocent), and Strokk. Strokk also accused Mushbuilder of raiding.
