Hopes for Bionicle Day

Hi, guys. Since this is a new year, if you guys follow Bionicle Day people, here’s what I hope they will do this year: 

1. Celebrate Bionicle’s 25th anniversary (obviously). It would be cool if they will also celebrate Bionicle’s 2006 story arc’s 20th anniversary (with the Piraka and Toa Inika), Hero Factory’s 2011 story arcs’ 15th anniversaries (I put that there because Hero Factory is an honorary part of Bionicle), and Bionicle’s 2016 stroy arc’s 10th anniversary (from Bionicle Generation 2, with the Toa Uniters, Elemental Creatures, and Umarak). 
2. Find out why Kongu, Hewkii, and Kongu did not have their own Toa Inika animations in 2006. 
3. Find out who sang Bionicle’s “Piraka Rap” song in 2006. 
4. Interview people who made the 2006 Bionicle online games, Bionicle Heroes, and Bionicle: The Journey to One. 

So, there. I hope they will do them. I put them there today before it will be too late.

Mega Bloks/Construx is basically gone. All of their assets are being folded into Mattel Brick Shop.

I think I’ve seen “Mega” brand construction toys every time I’ve gone to the toy aisle in the last couple years.

Just imagine, they hire Greg for PR purposes but then don’t let him do anything and they make an entire Disney+ show about Kapura’s gassy adventures in the Charred Jungle. They declare the web serials and all the characters created for them “non-canon” so they can clear the slate for “new adventures,” then bring said characters back anyway in slightly different capacities. Then “somehow Makuta returns” (they don’t say “Teridax” because that knowledge is “too niche”) 50 years after Journey’s End, and the Toa Nuva, now Turaga, die insulting anticlimactic deaths while the new team of throughly unlikeable and unsympathetic Toa have to stop him. And don’t get me started on LEGO Bionicle: The Video Ga-WAITAMINUTE

LEGO will release a special GWP Bionicle set but it's just the office in Denmark where they decided to cancel it. The play feature will be being able to throw the unreleased 2011 Bionicle sets into a Star Wars-style trash compactor. There will be a Greg Farshtey minifigure with two faces, one smiling and one with him frowning and weeping a single tear.

with the way Lego treats Bionicle, that almost seems in-character for them

Well good news for you @Lenny7092, the registration start date is tomorrow, so if you have any ideas or projects you'd like to showcase they can be submitted then!

Looking at the art alone, it definitely appears they will be focusing on 2006 storyline (I personally am looking forward to the "Joy of Piraka with Stuart Sayger". They've had him almost every year up to this point, but as it is the 2006 celebration year, I'm hoping for some special art drawing from him.
