Techna: Breakdown

Recommended Posts

IC: AMTaOS / Testing Chamber #2The vacuums had been completed just in time to keep the noise back. A slow clapping sound echoed across the room. "Very good 'test subject name', you must be the pride of 'test subject hometown'. But how will you stop that sphere?"A good question - the metal orb easily crushed the vines trying to intercept it and went flying past with ease-Toa Levacius Zehvor :flagusa:

OOC: Just the fourth wall? My friend, all of the walls shall be broken.IC: AMTaOS / Testing Chamber #2, Wreckage of Techna-Nui"Yes Tain. Do that. It will definitely work." AMTaOS responded. In a tone barely audible, especially with the ringing still left in the groups ears, she continued, "Reverse psychology experiments are not a go, and test subjects should treat them as occurring."-Toa Levacius Zehvor :flagusa:

IC: Elirak"Yeah, later," I said, walking away from the wierd Toa.After putting some distance between myself and Wade, I finally took the time to actually look around. The place reminded me of Metru Nui, from what stories I've heard as a kid. After taking in the sighhts, I began to make my way to the tallest building around.'Bout time I delivered Reichenbach's message.

OOC: Please give me time to respond, guys. I do have schoolwork to attend to, and rushing Esao along won't do any of us any good. :)IC: Esao (New Metru Nui)I sighed. This was supposed to be a small operation: a TAC team of four and me, no more, no less. Our current numbers weren't going to be very stealthy at all..."Alright," I said. "Arell, I want your Elites and the rest of the volunteers to enforce a perimeter around the Techna Nui. As soon as the garrison is out, we're going to move in and investigate for the bug-like creatures spotted by Krayzikk's boy inside."I turned to the Elite commander. I had never had much trust for them: Matrapolix was a great warrior, fearless, but his training tended to be a tad bit overhyped. Airu had trained me and the rest of my squadmates personally, and sans perhaps the former Toa Techna of Sonics, he was the greatest warrior on the entire ship. Arell was underestimating me and my team: that was her second mistake. Her first was showing up in the first place."And one more thing. I outrank you by quite a fair bit, and if you disobey any of my orders, or Krayzikk's, I'll be sure to have you thrown in a military prison before the night is over."-Teezy

OOC: Don't blame me, chief. I can't stop the flood. :PIC: KrayzikkKrayzikk nodded, in agreement with Esao. He looked over Esao's team. "As for you." He saw them tense slightly, and would have smirked if he could. "Try not to die."

OOC: Now for something completely different: a warning! Yayyyy!IC - GM ICAs soon as Parazan touched the Ignika, something happened. He felt a shock run through him. He was blown back for atleast twenty feet. As he landed on his back, he heard a muffled sound. Confused, he stood up. He heard a voice. Turning, he heard it again. It was now behind him again. He was very confused, until he realized what it was. The he was shocked mentally. Sliding his jetpack off, he looked over it. It couldn't be..."It's about time you got me off your back," the pack's lips (it had lips) spoke. He looked down at his shoes. They had lips as well. His armor, too. His weapons. Everything around him began talking. It could drive a man insane.

IC: Esao (New Metru Nui)"Alright, here's my plan," I said, taking out a tablet and drawing out a sketch of the Techna Nui, sending it to the HUDs of all assembled. "For this op, we're going to have three teams assembled: Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie. Alpha will be comprised of myself and my TAC team; Beta will be comprised of Arell and the Elite; Charlie will be the three volunteers," I added, jerking my head at Ezraftin as I said the words."I want Alpha to move in with me once all Techna Guard troops are moved out so we can run recon. Bravo, I want you to move in five minutes after me and fan out to try and catch sight of whatever it is Lekar spotted. Charlie, spot us from the outside and let us know if any hostiles try to enter after we go in."-Teezy

IC: Ezraftin / New Metru-Nui"So you're letting the NPCs get all of the action keeping us outside? We're not civilians - look at me, and the other two volunteers. It's obvious based solely on equipment, and that's not counting the demeanor and stance. You don't need to keep us locked up outside; we can handle ourselves just fine."-Toa Levacius Zehvor :flagusa:

IC: Esao (New Metru Nui)I couldn't help but raise my eyebrows coldly at Ezraftin."It's not about "keeping you locked up outside," I said coldly. "It's about having people out there to spot for us and make sure that nothing can attack us from behind."-Teezy

IC: Elirak (Citadel)"Knock knock," I said to myself, actually walking through the doors of the Citadel.Normally I blown them in, but I liked entering a building like regular beings. "Yello," I said to the matoran at the desk, "I'd like to talk to however is in charge here.""Um, yes," the matoran said, "I'll get Supervisor Detr-""No, I mean: take me to your leader," I interupted."I don't know if I can do-""Just do it."

OOC: Skyra's not considered a volunteer right? Technically he's part of the guard, he just was hasn't been on duty in 700 years. :PIC: Skyra - New Metru Nui -Skyra said nothing as Esao gave orders, mostly likely Skyra would just end up wherever Krayzikk was regardless.

OOC: Gravity, would that be Gust you're referring to?IC: Esao (New Metru Nui)I sighed and cursed under my breath."Fine. You know what, fine. We'll have it your way."I turned to the TAC team."I want you four to stay out here and maintain perimeter. Spot for me: you'd probably be more efficient at knowing what to look for, anyway. Volunteers and Techna Guard, you come with me. Krayzikk, go and report to Airu what we've decided upon. Get everyone to the Situation Room at CHI, and I'll have a live feed open at all times."-Teezy

IC: Esao (New Metru Nui)I rolled my eyes. Now I remembered: Kinvex was a technician with CHI, a rather skilled one, actually, which was a surprise. I surveyed the rest of the TAC team. They were going to be holding down the perimeter, which wouldn't suit Kinvex very well, but maybe...>Meet me by the entrance of the city. We're headed to the Eastern Canyon, and I might need a technician when we head into the Techna Nui.-Teezy

IC, Kinvex:>Alright. I'll be there ASAP.>Call ended. Connection broken.Kinvex grinned. He was ready to have some fun. He quickly walked to the entrance of the city, which wasn't that far away. He whistled a little tune to himself as he walked. When he got there he saw Esao with a group of people. He walked over to him. "Hey, Esao. I'm here!"

OOC: Darkon's first post.IC: Darkon, The Outskirts of New Metru-NuiDarkon stumbled towards the city, his eyes slowly closing every few seconds, only to be jolted wide open by his stumbling. His throat and mouth ached from thirst, and his limbs were weak from hunger and over-exertion. As he neared the city, he used his remaining energy in a cry for help, one that echoed loudly, and would be sure to attract attention.OOC: Open for interaction / saving.

OOC: Was gonna have an epic Shadowman starting post, but all things considered (including how much lev may or may not scream at me for him having gotten into the techna nui without a spore attack yet) I think I'll go with this for now. Mars will start in a few more minutes.IC: Kopaka Mirtue glanced up from the counter of his shop at the outskirts of New Metru Nui. He had just been working on cataloging his store's current wares when there was a cry out in the wilderness...But from what? The toa's eyes widened as he found the answer to that question. Without a second thought, the tailor sped into a walk out of his shop-only pausing to lock and 'Close' it-and sprinted towards the exhausted being.

IC: Esao (New Metru Nui)I shrugged, nodding at Kinvex imperceptibly."If we're all ready, then, we can get in the hovercraft and go," I said, opening the back hatch and clambering in. There was plenty enough room for at least twenty people in there, but in hindsight, I should have taken a model that could fit five. This is too much, Esao...IC: Gust (The Citadel, New Metru Nui)Gust shrugged."I know some guys," he said, activating his link and scrolling down to a group.>Dialing Takadox Group...-Teezy

[iC: Stronin]At the top of a building, a smirk crossed the Iron Toa's face as he watched the people below him. It seemed as if New Metru Nui was in a somewhat minor state of peace right now, which was perfect for him. It was during states of peace when he was hired more, since nobody liked dirtying their hands in such as period."Well," he said, noting the job he had been assigned. "Let's do this."IC: ZaphosZaphos yawned as he picked up the call. "Yello?"
