And now people are complaining about the adoption joke.Man, you really can't please everyone, can you?

I thought that was actuallly pretty funny myself, and the entire theatre cracked up when Thor said that, myself included. xD It was perfect, like most of the jokes in the film.-ibrow

Reminds me of PETA complaining about Mario's tanooki suit.

Ugh, don't even remind me of that...Weirdly enough, I saw the movie in 3D, and I thought the effect was pretty well done. And usually at 3D movies I can literally just take off the glasses and still see it fine. I mean, the 3D didn't add anything per say, but it did actually augment the movie somewhat.

Generation reeeeeeeeeeeee: If you see this, don't copy it into your signature. Get off your computer. Go outside! Go for a walk! Appreciate the beauty of the world while you're young and energetic and full of unwarranted enthusiasm.

I just saw The Avengers yesterday with my mom. It was FREAKING AMAZING!!!! Way better then I thought it was going to be! I loved everyone in the movie! The one's that really stood out and were my favorites were, Thor, Hawkeye and Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff). The movie was great! I plan on seeing it again and buying it once it comes out on DVD! Soo... what do you guy thnk Thanos will do in the next movie? Try to kill everyone?

Whatever keeps these movies going. Marvel has a great formula right now where they try and add a little cliffhanger at the end of each movie so that there's enough hype for the next one, and the next one, and the next -

Actually, Thor included a short cameo of the Infinity Gauntlet, so just maybe...

I've been waiting for this move ever since Iron Man. The possibilities are endless with this. I agree with the fact that its nice to have a superhero movie that has fun with what it is; while I enjoy the innovation the more realistic ones are bringing to the table, there are also those that are sort of stuck in the middle and I'm glad that this one broke the mold without feeling too out of place.
