OOC: And that, ladies and gentlemen, is an example of a conversation that would be better served by PM.Not scolding anyone, but if you have specific questions like that you can just PM the person in question.IC (Lott Dod, Day One, NPC)"Yes. We are trying to keep a lid on that." Dod's tone was quite dry. "It appears we might be failing at that endeavor. Ah well. At least it isn't all over the holonet. Small comforts and all that." He sighed and sat down. "We are assembling a team of specialists. Rorl here..." Dod gestured to the massive hulk that had just entered the room. "Will be leading it. We have contacted you all because we believe you can be trusted. But first...how much do you know about the Kalee situation and where did you hear it?"IC (Yan'Hev'uruodo, NPC, Day One, Naboo)"Proper combat tactics actually." Yan climbed into the drivers seat and keyed the controls of the air speeder. "I led a squad during the Hyperspace War. We helped put down Stark and his cronies."

OOC:....Yeah. I didn't notice that.Whoops.*Throws random person into shark pit*Fear and respect me! I intentionally made that mistake!IC (Yan'Hev'uruodo, NPC, Day One, Naboo)Yan shrugged. "Perhaps. The senator keeps us quite busy. What little spare time I have is spent training." The air speeder came to life with a mighty rumble. The engines were alive once more and in short order the craft was back in the air. The lake passing underneath them at a reasonable rate.

IC (Corellia, Coronet Spaceport, Day 1)Zakta stepped through the smoke, stopping just before the veiled frame of Csarissa's ship. Things were proving to be more difficult than he had predicted. "Come out Csarissa, you can't hide forever!" he called out, scanning around him. "Even if you escape alive, you've got a pretty nice bounty on your head that is sure to attract the attention of every well-off hunter in the galaxy. Just give up now and save yourself the hassle!"

IC(Aposisston, Day Three): The Jade Falcon cruised in for a landing in the spaceport of another dusty town on the edge of civilization, scrubland surrounding it as far as the eye could see. This particular planet was a bit out of the way, so those who had settled there tended to stick with what was reliable and cheap, regardless of how it looked or how slow it might be - as he circled the spaceport, looking for the specific landing site traffic control had assigned him, he actually saw train tracks going south from a station on the edge of town. After a minute of circling, he found the specified site, and brought the ship in, carefully retracting the outriggers before setting it down. Many people who saw a G9 for the first time - especially those who weren't spacers themselves - wondered how the thing was supposed to land, not understanding that the outriggers weren't fixed in place, and were supposed to retract as the landing gear went out, saving space and providing what was, really, the most sensible possible solution."Tower, this is Jade Falcon, report smooth landing, all systems nominal." He'd made sure to put on the helmet before making contact with the air control tower - he was supposed to be an Ubese, so it really wouldn't do if he didn't actually sound like he was speaking through an amplifier. He'd had to turn down the amplification a bit to compensate for the fact that his vocal cords worked just fine, but the sound was still convincing enough."Roger that Falcon, hope your business goes smoothly."After taking a few minutes to make sure everything was secure, the fugitive-turned-bounty hunter walked confidently down the ship's loading ramp, towards the spaceport security checkpoint.---If he'd had any prior experience with competent spaceport security, he would have thought the checkpoint here was a joke - the guard at the checkpoint, a Trandoshan wearing knockoff blast armor, took a cursory glance at his bounty hunting license, passed it back, and then asked him for an inventory of every weapon on his person, to - and this is the point that would really bewilder anyone from the Core - ensure a prompt and efficient response in the event that any of the arms he carried were stolen. In point of fact, the security guard knew exactly what he was doing, and he was quite good at his job. Only their disinclination to visit colonial worlds in the Core saved him from having to explain to Coruscant dandies that confiscating weapons was hardly necessary for the protection of the people in the town, as they had plenty of weapons of their own and, all too often, a great fondness for using them. The only thing that would be accomplished by confiscating someone's blaster would be ensuring that, at some point during their stay, they got mugged, murdered or worse. Taking the blaster's make, model and serial number, on the other hand [or, as was common with some of the more interesting sorts coming through the spaceport, taking note of the precise way in which the serial number had been filed off], ensured that, if they got mugged anyway, they at least had a decent chance of having their gun returned to them. The security checkpoint certainly was a joke, but the punchline was all of the rich fools who underestimated the 'yokels' on the Outer Rim and got themselves a new job in a spice mine for their trouble.---After consulting a map that had been helpfully given to him - a map that was printed on some very rough paper, likely produced locally - the bounty hunter soon found his way to the local bounty office, which, contrary to his fears, was one of the most technologically advanced buildings in the town, and had a good connection to the interstellar communication service over which bounties were advertised. Taking a seat at a console, he tapped the screen, and started browsing the available bounties.OOC: Basilisk, that's your cue.

IC: Camlach (Coruscant, Day One)A lone figure walked down a dark alleyway within the massive bustling utopian city that was Coruscant. A dark grey cloak trailed in the wind behind him as he strode forward his boots clopping onto the ground. His dark grey hood was up, casting deep shadows over his face. His hands were concealed by obsidian colored gloves, while a matching colored hilt of some sort of blade rested on his hip. Suddenly he turned down another alleyway, he was getting close now... he could feel the target's he'd been trailing through the force. Suddenly three figures loomed up ahead as they talked quietly amongst themselves. They turned towards him, "Hey what the blast are you doing here! This is private business!" a armored human with a scared face yelled. "Yeah beat it." a green-skinned Duro said in his native tongue narrowing his crimson orbs. Camlach threw back his hood at that moment, revealing a handsome angular face. A small black stubble beard lined his chin and branched up to melt into his sideburns. His hair was dark black and messy and fell just above his eyes. His eyes were hidden by a single grey cloth. "Actually I've come here to kill you." he said simply. "There is no use fighting back, you have no chance to overcome me." he said. At that moment he smirked and then flung himself into the air doing a back-flip using his power over the force to guide him. Crimson blaster-fire lit up the alleyway as they began to shoot at their assailant, but it was futile, their shots went wide and missed impacting on the alley-way walls. As Camlach flipped over the first Duro his ancient black force-saber snapped into his hand and he channeled his force power through the dark crystals within lashing out with it. The midnight black blade slashing through the Duro's arm and detaching it. The Duro screamed as his arm fell to the ground smoking as Camlach landed behind him. Camlach's off-hand shot forward as he unleashed a powerful force-push from it, sending his three targets flying forward. He moved forward, then using his force-speed to come upon them before they could react; stabbing his saber into the back of the other Duro, killing him instantly. Camlach flicked his wrist his saber sliding to the right as he beheaded the other. A smell of charred flesh filled the air as he walked towards the human who as inching away trying to grab his fallen blaster-rifle. Camlach pulled the blaster to him with the force before sending it away. "I give you peace in death." he said as his saber swung true and the human's head rolled away a moment later. Camlach released the force energy he was channeling through his saber again and the black blade faded. He then quickly pulled up his hood and began to run through the alleyway, using his force-speed to distance himself from the scene of the murders as fast a he possibly could.

IC(Corellia, Coronet Spaceport, Day 1):Csarissa almost replied to the bounty hunter's call, but kept silent. She did not want to give away her position. She steadied her blaster, aiming it where the voice had come, and fired. She then sprung up and continued running along the edge of the hangar, waiting for any sign of movement withing the smoke.

IC(Corellia, Coronet Spaceport, Day 1):Zakta recoils as a bolt of energy impacts on the hull of the ship mere inches from him. "So that's how its gonna be, eh?" Grabbing his blaster with his free hand, he flipped his vibrosword around, digging the tip into the metal floor. Making sure there was room to take cover behind the ship, he dragged the blade forward, spraying up a shower of hot sparks into the smoke in front of him.

But first...how much do you know about the Kalee situation and where did you hear it?"
OOC: That seemed to be addressed to all the Bounty Hunters in the room since Dod's seeing them all at once, so apologies if this was just directed towards ToAIC (Djashell, Day One): "I know what little I've heard from the mouths of smugglers and other vagabonds," Shan answered Dod's question from the corner, "The Yam'rii have made a move on the planet Kalee, creating a colony they're using to attack and enslave the locals. The Republic has yet to pick a side."

IC: Kol (Shipyards, Coruscant -- Day One)Kol let out a low whistle in response and tilted his head at the Star Yacht, examining the vessel as he and Jaron approached. The ship was magnificent, that was for sure; whoever this Jaron guy was, he did well for himself. Suddenly, the eight thousand credit freight didn't seem like that big a deal to him anymore. To this guy, it might well have been chump change. To Kol, it was everything. More money than he'd had in months."She's a beaut," he agreed. "What all do you have on it? Class 1? Protons?"-Teezy

IC: (Kyto and Cal)"Word spreads fairly quickly in the under levels, it what you can't overhear for free a few credits- or a drink- can buy you. I overheard in a cantina that the Yam'rii, the Huk as most know them, are making a move on Kalee, and the Republic isn't doing anything. I don't know the size of the conflict, but the Huk telling the story seemed fairly confident," spoke up Cath, who had been silent til now. Kyto absentmindedly stroked one of his chin flaps, fishlike eyes studying the senator."As he said. Cath and I believe that our skills would be beneficial to this team you're assembling," added his watery voice.

Well, would you just look at that?

Name: Zeke KeliosSpecies: HumanGender: MaleHome Planet: TatooineOccupation: Pirate Captain; his pay depends on what and how much he steals.Abilities: Excellent marksman and strategist, has an excellent sense of time.Equipment/Tools: A set of armor made of a light but very sturdy material that can take a lot of damage.Weapons: Typically carries two identical IR-5 blaster pistols and a TC-22 rifle for use in longer-range combat.Appearance: He has shoulder-length dirty blonde hair and strikingly blue eyes. A thin scar runs from the middle of his forehead almost to the tip of his nose. He typically wears his armor, which is a dull grayish-green in color, over a dark blue jumpsuit. His figure is sturdy and opposing, but worn from years of combat.Personality: Zeke is bold and always enjoys the thrill of battle. He's arrogant, so much so that he'll have anyone who insults him, directly or otherwise, promptly taken away and shot out the airlock of his ship with a pack of primed C22 frag grenades strapped to their back.History: Zeke was born into the slave trade on Tatooine and escaped by stowing away on a pirate ship. Instead of having him killed, the captain saw a fire in the boy and decided to raise him as a pirate. After years of serving under said captain, he gathered together a group of his crewmates and staged a mutiny, during which he gained the scar running down his nose. The mutiny was succesful, and he now captains the ship and is steadily gaining a reputation among other pirates. Also has a crew of five IG-86 Sentinel droids and five non-droid NPC's of various species (approved by Basilisk)Name: The Predator's ShadowModel: IPV-1 System Patrol CraftFunction: Transport and vessel of Captain Zeke's pirate crewWeapons: Four turbolasers, one Krupx VL-4a warhead launcherModifications: The portion of the craft normally used for holding troops or passengers has been modified into a cargo hold to carry whatever goods the pirates managed to steal. He made the modifications to the passenger hold. When Zeke staged his mutiny, he claimed full ownership of the ship and whatever cargo happened to be in it at the time. And before I forget: 10101010.

IC (Yan'Hev'uruodo, NPC, Day One, Naboo)Yan shook her head. "You don't know much about the Senate Commandos do you? You don't sign up for the hours." She was lucky to have any free time at all actually. The military lifestyle was not famous for the amount of leisure time it offered. "I should have some leave in a month or two. But I doubt you'll be sticking around that long." Yan swerved suddenly, redirecting the speeding craft. "We'll be at the estate soon at any rate."IC (Bounty Office, Day Three)The would-be bounty hunter would note what seemed to be a particularly excellent offer amid the normal low-rate petty criminals in the database. The Huk were hiring and paying out the nose for it if the signing fee offered was any indication. A three thousand credit signing fee, free housing and storage offered as well as transportation for those without it. It was a generous offer, the only catch was it required the signing of a few contracts and exclusivity agreement. The details could be worked out in the local offices. Directions were included on the posting. It was a simple enough path to follow. The offices were evidently built into the local space port. OOC: ATTENTION ALL RPERS. ....So, everyone has been telling me that my travel system is a bit excessive. They told me before the RP launched. But I couldn't see any alternatives. As I was reading through my copy of Evil Overlord monthly however, something struck me. I shall call this something the obvious rock. I will be allowing player managed time skips for travel time. This basically means you can go through two weeks in a paragraph or a few sentences if you so wish when traveling.

IC-Jaron:"Two concealed Proton Torpedo launchers," Jaron said. "Good luck finding them, though-I can't even remember where they are half the time. I wish I had a Class 1, but at the moment, I'm stuck with a Class 2." He grinned as the blast cannons swivelled towards the two, and then back away."Dual Barreled blaster cannons, one an ion cannon, and the other a normal blaster. Take down the enemy's shields and then take them down as well, all with minimal power consumption. And, finally, a special navicomputer. The navicomputer was, actually, made with an A.I. within it. Since I never memorywiped the thing, it decided to spread through the whole ship. Now I hardly have to do anything on it." He grinned, parking the speeder, and walking up to the automatically lowered entrance/cargo ramp."And then, compared with the outside, you'll see just how bare the inside is."

IC (Lott Dod, Day One, NPC)Dod shook his head. "Rumors and talk then." He had been worried about nothing then, just the standard spacer gossip that sprang up now and then. "We are concerned about the actions of the Huk. That much is true. This forced colonization effort is a blatant violation of the Federations code of conduct and as they are a member species....well, let us just say they have a little to much influence over the directors board for us to act directly. For now. That is where you, ideally, will come in. Before I go any further however...you will need to sign these confidentiality agreements." With the ease of long years of practice, Dod produced a few copies of the contract from his robes.

IC: Camlach (Shipyards, Coruscant, Day One)Camlach walked towards the shipyards. He had finished his mission, his three targets were dead and he'd escaped with no resistance. This mission had seemed almost too easy for him, it had severely bored him, Camlach was looking for a challenge. He walked through the crowd of people who were bustling around the shipyard. Through his force-sensitive sight everyone appeared as a grey shape in a black void. Buildings and shapes were outlined in grey, and within the chest of every living being he saw a reddish glow, the glow of life. Camlach approached his ship, her name was the Ravager. She was a sleek Delta-6 starfighter, that he'd had personally pained in black. He ran a gloved hand over the nose of the ship.

IC: Zeke Kelios, Bounty Office, Day 1At that moment, a figure with billowing blonde hair and green armor strode into the bounty office with a devilish smile on his face and an air of arrogance about him. In short time, Zeke made it over to the computers and began scrolling through the available bounties. He looked over the Huk's offer for a moment. It seemed appealing, but the contracts? He didn't really like sticking with one group besides his crew for a long time, and he knew that said crew would hate him for signing those contracts. His smile turned into an unimpressed smirk as he continued browsing the available offers.

IC (Contracts, Day One)The contracts were fairly straightforward and worded in such a way that nothing was left to doubt. They had never been to Kalee. They had no idea what the Huk were doing, they had never worked for the Federation and such as. It give the Federation complete deniability should they be captured and if they were to talk with say, the media about this, the Federation was authorized to retract their pay and fine them for a rather princely sum. It was pretty standard stuff.IC (Bounty Office, Day One)Most of the other bounties and contracts available were fairly low grade stuff...or insanely dangerous. The low grade bounties were legion, but of note in the insanely dangerous category was a fairly recent posting by the Commerce Guild. One of their shipments had been hijacked by pirate boarders and they were offering a sum of forty-thousand credits for it's safe return. The cargo vessel that they were aboard had been a modified version of the standard Guild Corvette, with modular cargo bays attached. The pirates were considered extremely dangerous.

IC-Jaron:"Just wait," the Sith replied, with a slight laugh, as he walked up into the ship. The A.I. automatically turned on the lights, showing the bare corridors. The rooms were kept with Spartan furnishings, comfort not required at all. Nothing but a bed and a stand beside it, a closet for any clothes.Storage rooms piled full of materials he would use to create whatever he was going to create for his next job, and then, after that...He stopped near a miniature computer terminal on the wall, to control doors and locks and something more. Kol, however, was looking at a room just ahead. The same as all the others. He turned, noticing Jaron, and started to walk back.Jaron punched a key on the terminal, and a smugglers compartment in the floor opened up, pneumatic pistons pushing it upwards. In it were two packages-one containing crushgaunts constructed of the finest beskar, the other, an embroidered, armourweave cape for a minor noble on Serenno, each marked as such. Crushgaunts, Dantooine. Armourweave, Serenno. And, thankfully, Kol didn't fall in."Those are what I need you to deliver," he said cheerfully. "The one for Dantooine, and the one for Serenno. I couldn't quite work them into an economical flight path, so I figured I'd hire somebody else to deliver them. I trust it isn't too much trouble?"

IC(Corellia, Coronet Spaceport, Day 1):Csarissa fired off a volley of shots in the direction of the scraping, depleting the remaining charge. She ejected the cartridge, almost instantly replacing it with one from her belt. From here she charged into the smoke, staying low to the ground to reduce her profile.A figure appeared. The Selonian leaped, spinning around, her tail connecting with the other's head. Her opponent stumbled, but Csarissa didn't give him time to respond. She whirled around behind him and threw her weight into his upper body, causing the two to crash to the floor. She wormed her arms around his to keep him from struggling."All right," she barked, "who are you and who sent you?"

IC (Bounty Office, Day One)The article was vague about the exact route it was taking, one got the impression the Guild didn't want to hand out that information to everyone who read the article. The destination of the craft however, had been the sector capital Javin and it had launched from the planet of Terminus. It was intercepted en route and had last reported in over the planet of Isde Naha.

Rendezvous coordinates will be provided to you when everyone has signed the contract or rejected it. If you don't have a ship to get to the coordinates, we will of course, provide you with a shuttle." Dod knew that captain Harro Ruuk was currently waiting in the void between the planets in this system, aboard a heavy munitions cruiser. He would be seeing the team to Kalee and, thanks to the Huk's member status, had a way to ensure the teams entry went undetected.

IC(Corellia, Coronet Spaceport, Day 1)"Well, so much for your perfect record..." Zakta thought as he stared up at his Selonian captor. The smoke had finally begun dissipating, so the two get get a fine look at one another. "All right," Csarissa barked, "who are you and who sent you?" "Who am I?" He said, surprised at the question. "I am nobody; just another man with a mission... My employer, however is a different story.""Oh really? Do tell.""I believe you two have already been acquainted." He began. "His name is-"Before he could finish his sentence, the door on the other side of the hangar suddenly blew open, sending shrapnel and smoke throughout the room. As the dust settled, four figures rushed in, carrying blaster rifles. They lined up, aiming their weapons at the two as a fifth, more familiar figure stepped through the broken doorway. Zeert smiled, folding his arms as he stared at Zakta and Csarissa. "Hello you two, how are things?"

IC(Day Three, Bounty Office, Wrea): The bounty hunter noted the Yam'rii contract with interest. In the time since he had fled Lehon, plans had started forming in his mind, plans to ensure his survival and, eventually, find and eliminate the one who had destroyed his life - plans that would require rather more credits than he could get hunting down any of the petty criminals specified by the other bounties. Shutting down the program, he made his way back to the spaceport, looking for the office specified in the bounty.
