Spiffy247
I knew this would happen for some reason, and I think this means the line is so far a success. And on Amazon, most of the Toa have less than twelve left in stock. I am very impressed, and I think the old fans are a big part of this situation. I am glad I have four of the Toa and LoSS on my coffee table, and I ordered the remaining two a few days ago. Quote A fish wielding vampire. That's Spiffy. Sergei Rahkmaninoff
While that seems disappointing to those who wanted to order the sets, it's really great news, since it shows Lego that Gen2 is a huge success. If the high demand continues, we'll be likely to have more than 3 years after all ! (It also says 'will ship in 30 days,' in case anyone was wondering.)
Jobber
What is really confusing to me is the fact that even if all the old fans of Bionicle were buying all the sets at once, I don't think Lego.com would run out of stock so quickly.
Sergei Rahkmaninoff
Exactly. New fans must be buying them too, thus the line has succeeded in gathering new fans. It occurs to me that the problem would have been even worse if they released the sets before Christmas, which is probably why they didn't. Aanchir
I'm going to go ahead and assume this is a glitch/error. My reason for saying so is that I did the thing where you can sign up to receive an e–mail once the sets become available, and I haven't yet received any e–mail. So I have doubts that the sets became available in the first place, let alone sold out so quickly. Later today they might become available for real. Toa Smoke Monster
That doesn't surprise me at all. I knew Bionicle sets would be selling out all over the place. Even Lego/shop at home can't keep up with the demand. Quote Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story.
Mr. Cup of Fail
I am agreeing with Aanchir because Bionicle was not the only one, if you take a look at the Chima, Minifigures series 13, Star Wars and Technic, they all say "out of stock, will ship in 30 days". So it would be unknown if the new bionicle had became big situation on Lego Ship Edited January 1, 2015 by ShadowWolfHount Quote My Topics MOCs: Construct-a-Astronaut __________________________________________________ Find Me On Flickr Twitter Youtube

Spiffy247
Well this was all a little odd. But Onua, Lewa and Gali are all sold out on Amazon already, and Tahu is nowhere to be seen. Edited January 1, 2015 by Spiffy247 Quote A fish wielding vampire. That's Spiffy. Kaxix
I agree with who says it is a simple error. If I remember right, it happened in the past too. The Toa are available and I highly doubt the protectors are more popular than the Toa.
Sergei Rahkmaninoff
Perhaps more Toa were produced. But with the other information presented I think it's probably erroneous as well.

Spiffy247
I'm glad I ninja'd my way to all 13 before they flew away!I myself got 4 Toa and LoSS well before today, and I preordered the remaining two. So I don't have to worry about not getting them. But I want to get Lewa and Onua for my younger brothers who liked Bionicle back in the day. They were their favorites of the original Toa. Toa Chuck
Me and my Mom did some searching, and it seems that while the masters and Loss are available pretty much in all major retailers, the protectors are only available at target. Its possible that Lego made them a short-term exclusivity deal. Quote The Chirox Codex Chuck's Very Dead Comic Series This is my signature. Exciting, huh? Takametru007
Well, as cool as it is, it's also really awful. They've only been out for like, 3 days and they're all gone?! This is wayy too early for a product like this to vanish so fast!Relax, it turns out they never sold out on shop.LEGO.com in the first place. It was in fact just a glitch, and it's fixed now. All the sets are in stock on shop.LEGO.com, for every country I've checked so far. As for Amazon, I can't help you there, as all the listings there have been from independent sellers, and it's not clear how many those sellers had to begin with. The sets haven't been listed yet with Amazon as the seller, though I'm confident that when they do they won't sell out in such short order.
