Black Six Posted May 21, 2012 Author Share Posted May 21, 2012 Also, I can't seem to get a direct link to posts when I click the number on it; it just takes me to the post (which I can copy/paste from the browser, if I need to, but it's not the best substitute), without the previous pop-up thing appearing.Apparently this feature has been removed from the newer version of the software. Because I don't know a faster way, I had to visit all the blogs that had comments in them just to mark my blog as read! It's more public, with each member having access to his/her own warning log, which contains a record of most proto adjustments. Additionally, members can chose to be notified of their proto adjustments through the notification system.The "points" are there because Invision adopted a new points-based warning system, but BZP's proto system won't be changing--each action will be one point up or down (with a minimum of -5 and a maximum of 5).yeah, I have noticed these as well. It's a lowest-score-wins thing, like golf, right?No, higher is better; points added represent proto increases, while points taken represent proto decreases. Seems nice that now you can see areas saying why you earn proto, without being a moderator looking in the moderator control panel. News talkbacks are posted via RSS import, for which there was an option to not raise the post count. I take it that you're just seeing the point text and not the Proto bar?EDIT: Unless you mean to ask if we're going to change the text from "warning points" to "Proto" - to which the answer is no. There are too many custom things to edit that would interfere with BZP's existing modifications. Tohu had forty-two posts when the forums came back; when the account was first set to post news stories imported from an RSS feed, there was an option to not add those posts to the account's post count, so Tohu's post count didn't go up.
