Cool. Then I think I am ready to start an opening post. Anything I should know about what is going on in Alamos Town before I post my arrival?

Basically, three trainers (Jake Harris, Arius Jacobson, Ruth Fishers) were sent to Alamos Town to investigate a power plant failure on a nearby route. At the city, they picked up an additional two trainers (Elijah Brockway and Megan Keita) to aid them, they are now on the side of the titular plant and figuring out how to get in from an open window high up.

My suggestion? Have Yugo be walking along that particular route and see the traveling band of trainers, get curious, and go talk to them. Of course, you don't have to follow that formula, if you can come up with something better!

Ah, cool. I posted already but no reason I can't spot them after one of them posts. Not sure I could really help with getting into a window. I have a charmander, sandslash, and a pidgey. Guess I could break/burn through the wall if needed.

Just timeskip over to said route at some point, and notice said group talking to each other. And then send him over, he doesn't need to be the catalyst for helping them get through the window, but he'll still be welcomed to the group because the more the merrier! ^^

So with an issue regarding the power plant it is safe to say the Town is without power?

No, just a specific location. It's not the WHOLE power plant that's down... Just part of it.

At least, that's how I think of it.

Well I posted arriving and seeing the group while staying back but I think Airazor is going to attract attention.

So, continuing from what I did with 2014, I have now backed up every post we made in 2013. You know what that means: statistics for 2013 RotR!

We covered 28 pages in the topic on BZP, which translated to 751 pages in my Microsoft Word backup.

We wrote a total of 1072 posts, including four buffer posts that salvaged 67 posts that were lost between August and October 2013.

So taking out the buffer posts and adding in the posts included in those buffers, that's a total of 1135 posts, which included roughly 446 OOCs and 1097 ICs. In total, we wrote 278,539 words.

Number of posts per person, including the salvaged posts, are as follows:

  • Blade: 211 posts (18.59%)
  • Alku: 143 posts (12.60%)
  • Parugi: 139 posts (12.25%)
  • Konuju: 132 posts (11.63%)
  • Constructman: 98 posts (8.63%)
  • Dralcax: 86 posts (7.58%)
  • JiMing: 55 posts (4.85%)
  • Detranix: 52 posts (4.58%)
  • Minun: 49 posts (4.32%)
  • Nara: 47 posts (4.14%)
  • Zacax: 34 posts (3.00%)
  • Mango: 29 posts (2.56%)
  • Sonyaxe: 14 posts (1.23%)
  • KNI: 11 posts (0.97%)
  • Kaithas: 8 posts (0.70%)
  • Azarath: 6 posts (0.53%)
  • Snark Knight: 5 posts (0.44%)
  • Ecketzal: 4 posts (0.35%)
  • Ehks: 4 posts (0.35%)
  • Geardirector: 3 posts (0.26%)
  • Cosmic Titan: 2 posts (0.18%)
  • Canis: 1 post (0.09%)
  • Baltarc: 1 post (0.09%)
  • Tornado: 1 post (0.09%)

If you're curious about what the raw post statistics looked like, not counting the salvaged posts, I'll include them in a Spoiler Tag:

Spoiler

As for individual character ICs, again I only have a rough estimate of a few characters, due to the wide variety of IC label formats.

Evan Tierra: 128 ICs

Ryan Sanders: 91 ICs

Ray Hakuda: 91 ICs

Kyle Eston: 83 ICs

Zach Hikari: 75 ICs

Dack Majors: 71 ICs

Sonja Baron: 57 ICs

Aspen Seaton: 54 ICs

Ellen Burks: 49 ICs

Olivia Seaton: 29 ICs (technically 31)

Dahlia Seaton: 14 ICs (plus two mislabeled ICs that should be Olivia)

And that's it for Rise of the Rockets in 2013. Stats for 2012 and 2011 will come once Parugi fixes the formatting in his posts. I swear, if I see another [color=#000080;] tag I'm gonna lose it. (Also Blade, fixing the formatting in your posts wouldn't hurt either. =P)

So I am with the starting group at the Power plant near Alomos Town, and I think we are waiting for Megan to post as well as the others.

Posting pre-emptively for approval--this will be caught by Amelia at some point (still working it out):

Species: Murkrow
Nickname: Crowe
Gender: Female
Trainer: Amelia Zann
Appearance: Carries its shiny coloration, though the violet is dark enough that it's often mistaken for black.
Personality: Though prideful and mischevious like most Murkrow, this particular one prefers the company of wild Pokémon to that of trained Pokémon and humans--with a few very specific suggestions.  Especially distrusts scientists.  Is also very Careful.
Ability: Prankster
Speciality: Exceptionally skilled with use of Drill Peck, despite its overall lack of experience.  Its signature move.
Known Moves: Tailwind, Torment, Mean Look, Taunt, Roost (egg move), Drill Peck (egg move)

And yes, this is the one Adam and Pippi battled all the way back here. ;)

Looks good. And presumably the same reason for the Shinyness of Amelia's other 'mons also applies to this? : P

Precisely. ;-)

EDIT:  Summarizing some stuff from the chat tonight (last night probably by the time anyone reads this :P ):

*Groudon in Sootopolis was approx. 3-5 days after the Celadon Department Store

*Havok occurred immediately after Celadon Department Store (Final Rockets went from Celadon to Havok)

*The fallout from Groudon in Sootopolis is approximately synchronized with current events in Celadon; this is the "zone" of time we've dubbed "Ellen Time"

*"Ellen Time" is about a week (give or take) ahead of most of the rest of the game.

Please feel free to correct me if (when?) I am horribly, horribly wrong. :P
