GNG's parents have begun work on the kitchen so we can move.
This motivated GNG to drag that vacumm and Mr. Clean sponge into her room and start cleaning.
The dust mites didn't like it, so they bit GNG until the skin on her leg seemed afflicted w/ Chicken Pox.
GNG only finished the entryway, and there's plenty to do.
Then, GNG sat down to watch Aladin and Miss Potter and an episode of Psych.
GNG has never watched so much TV in one day.

I went to Helen G MaCallum Assembly (#207 in Riverside) for their Installation. The theme was Winter Wonderland. I can't say much else, I forgot to get nicknames from the girls there. :blush:

In the past weeks, I went to the go to Church Sunday with the Jobies. For this term, we went to the Covina Christian Church, and the theme was "The Lord is my Shepherd." Before the service started, I told the Choir Director that I was in Choir. She was very excited by the news, and went on and on about it to everyone... I didn't expect that, so I was humbled and embarrassed simultaneously

I woke up at 8 am. After a rushed morning, where I finally made the CD and were later that my Mother Advisor would have liked, we arrived at our float: a highly decorated pickup truck and rented trailer. Then, I was disappointed. The three sisters -half of our group- suddenly decided not to come, after raising our hopes. With them gone, and another girl at ROTC, that left me, one girl, her brother, and several adults.

Update 1: I found my mp3! I had merely forgotten where I last put it. Now I can focus on finding that jacket.
Update 2: I got my molding for the retainers on Monday -more icky paste, but this one didn't stick to my teeth like hard candy. I also got to choose the color of the plastic. (Transparent purple.)

I went to a slumber party with several other Bethels last night, at a local Masonic Lodge. We mostly danced and played hide and seek. The former included several playings of "I write Sins not Tragedies" (which would be my backgound music, but my parents are watching TV). The latter became mundane during the third round, because the other girls were so clever for hiding places.

Grand Assembly is a convention for Rainbow Girls. In four days, you will meet other members, participate in contests (talent, arts, sewing, and Ritual -all for wich you sign up beforehand), and have a whole lot of fun at the same time. If you want to take on more of a responsibility, you can sign up for Grand Page, Grand Observer Helper, or Grand Chior. Grand Officers are appointed, and are known for their mascots. F

We got Toot's! Right after I wrote the last entry and the server went busy a knock-knock on the door and Dad signed the form for receiving a huge box. When Mom came home, we opened the box and lit it up. As an added surprise, the smaller train revolves around the smokestack on the building.

The Day After Scandia, we went to Disneyland. There, we went on the usual favorites; went on Space Mt. which had miraculously short line; and, through very lucky timing, saw the parade and the fireworks. My specialist's office called and told me that I do not have an infection. I'm not sick, this is part of a life long medical issue. I was going to note it in my journal, but it has vanished! I'm not worried, it'll turn up eventually.

I took my placement test for college, and the results are...
Reading Comprehension: 107.9. I have met the graduation requirement! Sentence Skills: 107.5. Elementary Algebra: 110! I've also met the Math Competency Requirement for Associate Degree! College Level Math: 61.6. Oddly enough, the results say that I can take plane trig, and I haven’t taken geometry yet.
I only have one project left, my autobiography. After that, I'll be able to reveal what I've been up to since I last wrote. I'll even have some pictures ready!
Unfortunately, this event became the second worst event I've attended in Rainbow. But I didn't know that when I arrived at its gate. Rather, the early half was fun; but after ROTC girl suffered while on Thor's Hammer (which went upside-down twelve times!), things slowly started to go downhill. We had a party with the Demolay at an Eastern Star lady's house. We walked to the highly decorated homes on Throughbred Lane, and it is only on the pavement when you realize, this is a carnival! It's crowded enough, and home owners sell hot chocolate and churros on the sidewalk. When we return to the hostess' house, we ate cookies and watched "Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer" on TV.

Between homework, I've been creating plans for when I'm Honored Queen. My term includes Grand Bethel -the state convention. Out of all the events in Job's Daughters, this is the largest and most expensive, because the Bethel has to pay for hotel, transportation, and for at least one out of four day's worth of meals. Another expense (and a tradition) are the look-alikes that each Bethel wears on Friday.
