  1. All right, I read it all, and I'm afraid I don't have a super long response.

Gronk is a total beast... from all aspects. That man can't be taken down. I'm looking for Brady to pass to Gronk around 10 times against Denver. New England has an amazing passing offense. Tom Brady can throw to Welker, Hernandez, or Gronk. If that doesn't work.. the Firm does very well.

I'm going Saints vs. Patriots superbowl. For the NFC side... Saints are playing crazy good. Brees is a machine, and they have GREAT running backs.

I would pick Baltimore over Patriots for the AFC championship (Granted, I'm assuming Houston and Denver will lose this weekend), but I don't have trust with Flacco. And, with the Patriots, it's gonna be a high scoring game, and they won't be able to dish it off to Rice every time.

Smith and Boldin are good (Isn't Boldin a WR? Not TE?), but Flacco is an average QB. Nothing special. He can't keep up with the high powered offensive machine known as the Patriots.

I think the Steelers are going to start failing over the next few years. Ben is getting old (he looked pathetic in that game this weekend).

A note... Bengals had a tough loss, but expect them to be challenging the Ravens for AFC North next year. They have two first round draft picks for trading off Carson Palmer... Combine those picks with Andy Dalton and AJ Green? Bengals are looking good... finally. I almost cried after Watt returned that TD last weekend.

Colts and Ravens... always fun to watch. Manning will never be 100%, though. He's getting old, and will always suffer from those injuries.

  2. Is it a PPR league? That would kind of make the decision. Darren Sproles is awesome in Points per Rush/ Points per Reception leagues, but he doesn't really get huge numbers. I would personally go with Ray Rice... he gets big games almost every week.

Against Cincinnati-- Rice had 191 yards 2 TDs. Have you ever seen Sproles put up those numbers? He also had 135 scrimmage yards against Cleveland with a TD. Against San Diego, he only rushed ten times, but also caught 9 catches. Season stats..1364 yards and 12 TDs... plus receiving yards and TDs.

Sproles had 603 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs. He has a ton more receiving yards, but I see NO pounding Detroit early and rushing it.... resulting in lots of rushing... mainly going to Pierre, Ivory, Ingram. NO has so many running backs... Sproles isn't really a must play option.

So I say Ray Rice... he's a beast.

I also say Brees for quarterback. Stafford is VERY good, but you can't beat Brees. He's a machine, and he'll be playing in his dome. He should have a MASSIVE game against Detroit.

So, I'll go with Ray Rice and Drew Brees.

    Good luck!

    With Sproles,

  3.

I agree. Saccharin shouldn't have been an evil character. If I remember correctly, wasn't he drugged after thugs broke into his apartment?; I know he was just a collector. I may be off, but I liked the evil brothers (The Bird brothers, correct?) in the stories.

Either way, I loved the movie.. I'll probably buy it first day it comes out and add it to my vast collection of TinTin- related items.

  4. That Jerome Simpson jump was incredible...

But, yeah, this is gonna be a pretty sick finale week of regular season football. I hope all of your teams next week (unless your Necro :P ). There's no worse feeling than you team having a chance of making in the playoffs in week 17 and failing.

I still remember the Denver's blocked extra point against Cincinnati. Cincinnati needed to win the game to get into the playoffs... it was painful. A terrible Christmas gift.

  5. Thumbs up for me being opposite. :P

Cincinnati will take down Arizona. They're playing at home... and Arizona doesn't like the chilly weather. Plus, Cincy line is healthier this week.

As for NYG, I just hope they win. Jets aren't that good anymore, and I despise Rex Ryan... the most annoying and egotistical coach in the league.

  6. You´ll like Tintin, it´s good.

It looks great. I just hope they chose good voices for the characters; it would ruin the movie if the voices weren't chosen correctly (I can tell from the trailer that they made Haddock Scottish).

The first Sherlock movie losts a lot of its appeal after I saw the BBC Sherlock present-day mini series, which was so much better. But yeah, those do like two cool movies to see.:music:

Having a modern, present-day type Sherlock Holmes kind of made me not watch that series. I heard it was good, but I like the current setting... without much hi-tech and cell phones, etc. I might give the show a chance this break, though, if you recommend it.

  7. It's been missing long enough to be declared legally dead, so until we see proof of life, we'll all just go on considering it dead =P.

Even though you may think that BZP is the main source for BNG workers to communicate, it's not true. We're actively working on other sites; we are planning on adding a topic on BZP when we feel it's necessary.

  8. Why does it seem like every team but Green Bay and San Fran that's in the playoffs is in a neck-and-neck fight for their spot?

I know. It's a nail-biting close finish for my Bengals.

And I wouldn't worry about your Ravens... they swept Pittsburgh, so even if it does end up being a division tie... you still win.

I'm rooting for Baltimore over the next couple of weeks... if Baltimore clinches division... they'll go easy on Cincy.
