  1. Hate to offend anyone, but I can't stand that song by Owl City - I had to listen to that song for three of my ballet classes, and everybody would start singing it and screaming that the teacher had to pick that song. >_<

And, to Fluttershy, two baby dragons would make the world explode from cuteness. not two of her. :P

  2. That stinks about college...good to know you have a job and what not.

Despite the fact we haven't talked in over two years, still somewhat gratifying to know you're doing slightly okay. Still, you should know what I'm not happy about after two years.

I've been okay, I have been attempting to write every once and awhile. As you might have seen, I got the sequel for ADHT up and almost finished with it. I've entered the SS contest currently going on, hopefully I'll get into the finals on that, but because there are so many entries, that's basically a one out of 43 chance.

School has been good, working a lot at it...BZP serves as a distraction sometimes, but I still do pretty good.

Nonetheless, busy for the most part.

  3. Heh, everybody says that. =P

That's true, but some people have different preferences and tastes. When I used to watch cartoons, it would always be the older ones like Bugs Bunny, The Flinstones - the classics. Whether or not MLP will actually get to becoming a classic is the question, as it's not something that's hyped, or at least not in the public's eye.

Which is probably a good thing, because things that don't have crowds of fans are usually either bad or awesome. Seems like MLP is leaning a little bit towards awesome, but not by a huge margin. It at least isn't near 'terrible'. =P

  4. Personally, I don't think anybody into MLP are morons or weirdoes, but it just seems strange. I'm just three years older than the target audience (11 to be exact), which I believe is around eight or nine years old. There are guys almost seven years older than me into the show, so it just seems strange because I was never super interested in it when I saw the first episode or two a few weeks ago.

So, I've basically 'moved on' in the sense I deal with it. But by watching it, at least I know what some people are talking about when referring to it. :P

  5. I'm still awaiting the harsh criticism I know is to come. :P Thanks for your comments thus far.
    2. It is sad to see that. Of course, it isn't necessarily a bad word in that sense, either, but people use it in an insulting way. They set a boundary between those type of people and themselves. Although this isn't a great analogy, it is similar to the treatment of blacks a long time ago. There isn't that much of a difference. But usually these words that have become insulting were created mostly by teens, not adults.
I've heard that analogy before, and frankly I disagree strongly with it. On one hand you have people who are shunned because of appearance; on the other hand you have people with different mentalities. Naturally I'm against discrimination of most sorts, but otherwise I don't see the connection.

Well, it's because that they were treated as outcasts, like they were different. They were no different than anybody else, but some didn't really see that. =/

  6. 1. I totally agree. I know that my brother's had met with a friend with there's over Xbox Live, and he was being perfectly polite when his parents were around. Right when they left, he started cursing. These kids should think that their parents are always around, regardless if they're not. It just be courtesy to reframe from using language with or without their parents/guardians are around.

    3. Exactly. I know cursing a lot, of course I don't use it myself because I thought it was a general rule not to unless you were a certain age. Lots of things you can only do at a certain age - with teens nowadays, they think there are no limits to what they can say on the Internet, like parents can't see them say those things.

    4. Now, I do use substitutes, but not all the time. Like, I'll say 'shoot' and 'darn' and 'heck', but it's not like I'd say the actual curse word for it if I were allowed to, only because I choose not to and I prefer the other way. It's more polite to say 'heck', 'shoot', etc..

Still, good rant. I agree with most of you're points, to be honest. =)

  7. Wait, when would you be ending work? 5 P.M. I'm guessing? I suppose you could eat a quick dinner and go to sleep...I don't know what system you follow exactly, so bear with me. =P Still, if you get to bed at 7, you still get a decent 6-8 hours of sleep, probably around 7 hours.

  8. I'm probably not going to enter, if not only because it's just not my style. That and I don't plan on entering any other contests while SSC#8 is still going on. But good luck to you, LL, maybe there might be less competition compared to the whopping over 40 members that have entered into SSC#8. =P

    Still, good luck! ^_^

  9. The problem here is that you didn't take a look when I, Takuma Nuva, was king of comics and comedies! :P

The problem here is that I don't believe I was around for that time period. :P

The problem here is that you didn't take a look when Legolover-361 was king of comics!
    Fixed. :P

Heh, good one. If I were to read your comics, I have a feeling I'd still like your stories better for some reason. =P
