Early Installment Weirdness

Wow... it'd be interesting to see how closely those seven books align with what we got. -
Early Installment Weirdness

Both the MNOLG and Hapka fights are inferior to the kick-butt LoMN PC game fight. The Toa Kaita are smashing these guys to pieces, and I'm sittin' there watching like "This is awesome." -

Thanks! Is that all of them from both rounds of eBay auctions (summer and now)? As for legality... no idea, but if it's illegal, literally no one will care. -

Just save them all and upload them somewhere... I don't think I intend to crop them at all, so that won't be an issue. -
Would you then consider Kyle's post to be... baffling?

I honestly never realized I could post video game stuff in this sub-forum. I thought it was for sets only. I think other people are in the same boat as me? So hypothetically that would mean activity here wouldn't decrease? What I meant was that I'm with Lucina on this one.

My favorite Bionicle memory this year is being able to see all the animations months before we were supposed to. Thanks, Lego YouTube team! Also, one of my threads made the front page! How many of yours made the front page?

That guy needs to do some sit-ups. -
A Chima forum was opened without all this silliness and is now being closed because no one used it. That's that. Why can't something similar happen with this proposed sub-forum? If no one uses it then close it. Oh, and for what it's worth, I think Dimensions is totally a video game.

I felt bad that it was only one away from being 'popular' so I gave it mine.

When you have to draw one for every single shot, you don't really have time to make it look pretty. I guess the appeal comes from owning a piece of Bionicle history... something that was actually used to shape the film. -

I like how "Director" is in quotes on the poster. I wonder if that demo tape has any interesting material before or after the film... if so, whoever buys it better has a means of converting it to a digital file. -
My most upvoted post is this stupid one.

That sounds crazier than real-life Quidditch. Wheee! Good times, good times.

Oops.

Haha, they just copied and pasted it. Reminds me of the 8th Papercutz book where a stock image of Raanu is inexplicably driving a caravan filled with logs for the Skrall.

Did he realize the irony of posting this on a children's toy line forum?

A few of mine: On the old forum there was a thread about dumb school rules (since, y' know, we were all in middle school in those days). One member, who I remember had a 2008 Takanuva avatar, bemoaned the fact that there was a rule against stabbing other students with pencils. I don't know about you, but I don't think his frustration was justified. When someone uses the " " emoticon, you know you're dealing with someone whose rage truly cannot be contained, and that somehow makes the post all the more exciting to read. In 2009 there was a Target-exclusive Toa Mata Nui figure. I can't remember exactly why this particular member, in his broken English, was railing against Target, but you could tell he had a bone to chew with them. Because between his manic all-caps sentences and frequent use of exclamation points, were long, streaming lines of little heads. He made several posts like this because, well, he was a nut. One member didn't like the way BZPower had things set up. Being an 8-year-old with infinite wisdom, he made threads about how it was really stupid that the member of the week was randomly chosen. He argued that, duh, it should be the member who posts the most. He also would post a lot in his own threads. "letz make this go 2 the top 10 list!" he would cry! This member was vile, rude, and apparently even ticked off the big F himself. This member I shall always remember. This member was insane in a way I had never seen before and have never seen again. This member was the Monkey of Despair. His antics and tomfoolery knew no bounds. One of his threads was called "What if Spongebob was a Toa?" Another was called "Please buy my corn!" Yes, this member tried multiple times to sell his corn through the BZPower marketplace. He also made stories. Not nice stories, but stories that involved inappropriate elements such as poo-poo and pee-pee. And lots of it! They weren't even Bionicle stories! They were about "Fighting School!" When his first story was deleted, gears clicked in his mind, and in a moment of cunning he translated the story to Chinese, and posted it again. His seemingly foolproof plot didn't work and, in what was in my opinion a great loss for BZPower, the Monkey of Despair was banned from the site.

I've been a member here for five years and counting, and I've seen a lot of craaazy stuff. Especially before the forum upgrade. And while most of BZPower has always been nice and polite, and sane, some members were not. What are some fantastically insane posts you remember people making here?
