  1. IC: Arena - Forest Region (Blue Team) Kaytana felt the foreign thoughts invade her mind. She did not, however, succumb to the images and emotions flooding inside her head. Being a Skakdi -- and a female one at that -- she had witnessed more than her fair share of hideous and bizarre scenes -- the alterations to her species, for instance. The Team Comet member had even caused many of the things she had seen. And the suicidial thoughts? When she tumbled and fell down a mountain side from the ground beneath her giving way... it was no pleasent experience afterward. Being left in a near-death state with none caring enough to find her triggered thoughts of suicide, so the feeling now were not a new thing to her. Shrugging off the mental onset, Kaytana focused back on her opponent. What the Toa didn't seem to realize was that it wasn't only the poisonous vines attacking her, but every appendage of the tree -- which continued to whip around as they reached out to grab Amalia, threatening to bash her around before ensaring her. The Skakdi of Jungle willed wicked-looking spikes to jut from the branch the Toa of Psionics was mounted on, filled with an identical venom found in the vines. The Team Red member proceeded his kick attacks, until Wasponax managed to grab his ankle in mid-kick with both hands. The Mech's mouthpiece twitched into a smile-like expression before twisting the opposing competitor's leg -- and by extension, his body. He spun around in the air and then dropped towards the ground. Though, through the machine's quick functions, the Dark Hunter swatted his enemy away, into a growth of brush. Looking around for any possible and additional Red Team members in his vicinity, he jogged up to finish off his foe. His shields were whirling again, exuding both heat and a soft orangy glow. IC: Arena - Mountainous Region (Red Team)Greel glided along in the air above the mountainous landscape. He continued his search for more Flag Spires, using his same methods as before. In the corners of his eyes, he could see the continuous ray of light that bounced off each beacon. It hadn't reached the valley's tower yet, so maybe it needed to be reflected off another before heading for the rocky spire.
  2. Sorrow By Magnus Greel He knelt on a low ridge, taking in the barren terrain from the hills’ outlook of the land. It was not a scene that filled one with such emotion as felt by the being now; the world before him was mountainous, rugged, deserted, and otherwise unappealing to anyone else. Yet, to him, it was home; home sweet home. A place where he lived, conversed with friends, labored, and thrived with his species. It was also recently the site of destruction, of homicide, and of unimaginable loss for its natives. Though it was almost unnoticed, barely stimulating concern among the denizens of the outside world – not even a single plume of smoke drifted from the ruins to present a problem. A moan escaped the mouth of the being, quickly initiating a burst of sobbing and azure in his eyes. A mere glance of his surroundings was enough to push him even more onto the ground in emotion. It sparked flashbacks of the horrors lived here, fresh memories which caused him to dig his hands into the rocky soil and make fists filled with dirt. The day was like any other. Inhabitants did what they could to survive: cultivating the land for crops, trading resources, interacting with neighbors and workers.... How could such a day beget a level of defeat like that? The sudden presence of two unfamiliar creatures began the troubles. No one could have predicted their arrival or reasons for visiting. They came, lacking the numbers for what they intended, yet had easily succeeded, almost effortlessly. Attacks struck the villagers, their effects both immediate and terrifying, along with more composed of potent power from behind. They soon flew from everywhere, many traveling through the air at a higher velocity than the others in a rapid fire. When the brutal assaults came to a halt, the second attacker revealed himself, along with a very sharp and serrated blade in hand. Villagers fled, their kaleidoscopic eyes having flashed between garish hues, symbolizing all the intense emotions felt in the rush. It wasn’t long before the village fell, and the massacre over. The results of the attacks were mixed, ranging from quick but lethal stab wounds to the chest, to complete disintegration and loss of physical coordination. Few villagers had survived, only by willing themselves out of their stunned state and forcing their legs to carry them far away from the carnage. Meanwhile the attackers, possessed by unrelenting perseverance, wasted no time in pursuing those who fled once it was finished, following them to the next town. From there, the survivors brought the grave news, attempting to admonish others of the imminent onslaught. Several heeded the advice, while the majority turned to their bravado in order to establish a stand. At that point the weeping man’s recollections concluded, along with those wise enough to listen. In retrospect, it was better to escape than to take up arms; his kind was no match for creatures like those. There was nothing more to do, only to scurry and pray for preservation… and to dread those monstrous interlopers. Even now it was imprudent to lay and lament over his losses – better to depart now before the attackers came this far. But perhaps one day he would marvel at the invaders’ indifference, and build himself just to be as strong and as seemingly invulnerable as them. The End *** This short story depicts the tragedy experienced by one of the original inhabitants of Odina while the Shadowed One and Ancient killed and drove off the natives to establish a base for the Dark Hunters. The being in perticular is actually one of my RPG characters, which is one of the reasons why I wrote it. As for the natives' altering eye color, that was a creative aspect I gave to them in order to detail their appearance, since there is little known about them.I hope you enjoyed the story.
  3. IC: Arena - Forest Region (Blue Team) Avoiding fires and charring wood, Kaytana had arrived at her destination. It was quite difficult to see the one starting the inferno with all the smoke around, and due to the flames reducing most of the surrounding plants to ashes, finding her foe would be much harder to do now. Her power channeling through any plants that remained alive, the Skakdi was able to spot only one of the three combatants: Amalia, who had perched herself in a tree. Believing this to be the fire spreader, Kaytana went into action immediately. Spiky plant tendrils sprouted from nearby branches behind her, and crept toward the occupied and unsuspecting Toa. Then the appendages of the tree sprung to life, violently flailing around as they attempted to entangle Amalia and all her limbs. The objective was to restrain her until a blazing fire -- currently consuming the tree's base -- had crept up the length of the trunk to burn her. While they waited, the vines could inject the large amounts of paralyzing poison flowing through their bodies with their thorns.
  4. IC: Arena - Forest Region (Blue Team)Kaytana, upon seeing one of the spires was actually doing something besides glowing at the tip, slipped away back into the forest. Seeing the foliage and greenery burn around her encouraged the Skakdi to move faster, also made possible by creating a wider path for herself with her power over the still living plants. There was no time to check the other ridge in the southern section of the jungle, however, if she wanted to make it out without getting roasted. The Skakdi's keen eyes caught sight of the pattern of roots that acted as a marker to her vehicle's location. Kaytana wasted no time in getting back on and starting up the speeder. She sped off once it was ready, just in time, too -- a flaming branched smashed into the spot where had just been. Her destination, unlike her previous one, remained the same. She still wanted to find the one torching the forest, and having seen their path of destruction from the canopy, the Ring member knew exactly where to go. Hexxon and Anar continued to watch as the light beams reflected off each spire. Now all they needed to do was wait until all the beacons were found, and then teleport to the end of the ray's path. There, they hoped, would be the flag.Wasponax had remained in the mountains, clanking around and seemingly forgotten. Though his strolls were interrupted by an ambush brought on by a Red Team competitor. Thrilled by a chance to finally excerise his Mech in a fight against a living creature, the Dark Hunter retaliated. Feeling the rush, adrenaline, and heat of battle (including the heat provided by his machine's mechanisms that warmed the metal in the cold temperatures of Kai-Nam), he struck back with fire and a spray of his own insects in the face of his enemy, which flew out of the vehicle's mouthpiece. A spinning buzz saw sliced the air above the Red Team member once or twice, being one of the silvery shields of the Mech, which glowed with heat. Some of these swings were blocked by the weapon of the opponent, who now successfully landed several kicks to Wasponax's metallic shell.IC: Arena - Mountainous Region (Red Team)Greel's eyes gleamed as the tower of rock's point lit. As no other results became apparent (along with the presence of any more switches), the teal-armored and gold-skinned being simply shrugged and spun around in the air, disappearing into another one or his gateways.
  5. IC: Arena - Forest Region (Blue Team)Kaytana spotted the glint at the hillside and positioned herself to leap toward the spot, though the stench of smoke reached her before she could. Glancing around, the Skakdi of Jungle noticed the blazing flames consuming the forest, and gasped. Someone was trying to burn down the woods! Her eyes narrowed and her teeth clentched. Fires were beginning along the edge of the jungle, revealing the path of whoever was doing the deed. Evidently, it wasn't a very wise thing to do: destroying the forest would also damage and possibly destroy any Flag Spires within. The matter had to be ignored for the moment. If she wanted to investigate what might be another tower and escape the burning forest, the Skakdi would have to move. Then she could deal with the culprit. Jumping over the treetops again, Kaytana came to the point where the structure (or whatever it was) jutted out of the canopy on the hill. She lowered herself down to the hidden object, using both the branches and vines to get there. On the ground now, Kaytana looked at what she hoped to be another spire. Hexxon and Anar watched as beams of light appeared from different points around the field. From here it seemed that the connected rays were forming some tupe of pattern.IC: Arena - Mountainous Region (Red Team)Greel flew by the tallest mountain, the presence of up above Dalmia on its tip became apparent to him. The being might have been a statue with the lack of movement he made. Though, as long as he didn't notice him, the Team Red member didn't worry. He only continued his way, coming to a hollow surrounded by four mountains.Careful inspection resulted in him spotting an unusual structure in its center. Its rocky texture and surface almost blinded him to its true importance, though its shape kept him from leaving without at least a cursory inspection of the tower-like formation.Diving into a opened portal, Greel crossed through the dimensional doorway, bringing himself up close to the spire as he floated above ground. From what he heard back at base, this fit the idea of the beacon he had when overhearing the progress of finding spires to reveal the lone flag. Greel stretched out an armored arm toward the tower's control panel, assuming that was the way to activate the mechanism.
  6. IC: Arena - Forest Region (Blue Team) Kaytana finally came to the easternmost hills that were bare of any plant life to detect anything hidden on them. From here, she could see much of the hill tops, and her eyes scanned their peaks and bases. The Skakdi even had the branch she stood on to raise her higher into the sky to get a better look of the ridge. If there was another structure on them, Kaytana would see it. If not, then she felt the need to level them.IC: Arena - Mountainous Region (Red Team)From his spot on a mountain, Greel took off like a rocket with his boots, though ironically sounded and looked nothing like it. An aerial view of the sector would be the best and bring faster results than hiking up and down the great hills. He made sure to check summits, cliffs, bases, and possible caves -- anyplace where a beacon might be. This search of flying up and down and getting close to the rocky terrain was done carefully with the use of portals.
  7. IC: Arena - Volcanic Region - Red Team HQ (Red Team)Greel listened to Zanth speak, and once the Team Zero leader had finished, he asked, "Fighting over the same flag once it's revealed?" A sly grin was plastered on his face. "Oh, this is going to be fun."The teal-armored warrior focused, opening another gateway. "I'm going to check the mountainous section of the field. Perhaps there is a beacon somewhere hidden there." Switching on his generators caused Greel to become disguised and absolutely quiet. The closing of his portal alerted the others to his departure. Now in a stealth mode, he could search the mountains he now stood on without interuption.IC: Arena - Forest Region (Blue Team)Kaytana watched the spire's illuminated tip for a moment, before using the vine she was climbing on to swing back into the treetops. Her momentum had actually brought her through the layers of branches and leaves (which had quickly moved out of her way as she passed) and out of the canopy. The Skakdi fell a little, a branch jutting out to catch her, its sticks and twigs lined up and looking like a hand. She stood on it now, surveying the sky and trees before her. There are those clearings, Kaytana thought glaring at the hills in the distance. They easily stuck out against the green coloration of the forest. Controlling the trees, she leapt off the perch, and landed on another branch that had sprung out of the canopy. Repeating the same feat again and again, Kaytana made her way to the easternmost mountains.
  8. IC: Arena - Forest Region (Blue Team)Kaytana continued to pounce through the tree branches until she came to the area where she sensed the Flag Spire. Feeling around with her plants again, the Skakdi found the exact spot where the structure was located, and opened a path again. She slid down a vine until she was at level with the control panel. With her mechanical arm, she reached out her hand to press the activation button while her other held onto the plant tendril.IC: Arena - Volcanic Region - Red Team HQ (Red Team)"We should start searching, then," Greel said. "There's no telling how close the Blue Team is to finding our own flag."
  9. IC: Northern VolcanoThat was exactly what happened to Arketh. His head seemed to spin on his neck as another blow struck him, causing him to fall back and plummet. As he did so, the strips connecting to his bones whipped around above him in the air.At the moment, Arketh was far too occupied to gain control of the situation to stop Jasrich from retreating.
  10. IC: Northern VolcanoThe spear grazed Arketh's shoulder, causing the stab with his own weapon to miss the Toa. Unfortunately, he didn't notice the rock fragment like Jasrich did, and was struck in the head by the flaming stone, receiving another scorch mark on his bones. Dazed, the world seemed to blur for Arketh. His strips that had lashed out for his adversary drooped, having no command at the moment. For Jasrich, this was the perfect opportunity to retaliate. The black skeleton didn't look ready for a counterattack.
  11. With his attention diverted, Arketh won't be able to use them; they'll simply be floating there. Jasrich can even cut a few with his weapon to escape if he wants.
  12. Okay, just wondering. =)If you really want him to live, though, you could have Jasrich kick or block Blacklight with his spear. Then I could have a stray meteor fragment strike Arketh and stun him long enough to give you an opening to attack him without a prepared defense in his case. That should give Jasrich time to escape.
  13. Pit, did you see my last post about our characters' battle?
  14. OOC: Parugi: If I'm correct, there's two spires -- one in the northernmost section of the forest and a possible second one located on either the southern or easternmost hills?IC: Arena - Forest Region (Blue Team)Kaytana swung her head towards the north, where she sensed another structure -- very similar to the previous -- hiding in the jungle. The presence of another spire definately gave her the impression that these were important in some way. Her first idea was that both team flags placed within them, just waiting to be unlocked. That, however, wouldn't make much sense having both flags in the same area. Then there were several sections of the forest where the Skakdi's scanning just stopped around certain parts, revealing land untouched by plant life. Whether these clearings or "blind spots" of her scanning held any significance, or were just normal glades, she felt the need to check them out. If just regular clearings, they were spots where she couldn't reach out to others to attack, and therefore needed some... redecorating. Again, Kaytana was hopping through the treetops, this time headed for the north. She made sure to get there as swiftly as possible, not letting anthing delay her investigations. First, she would activate this second spire, then search those untouchable regions. After hearing Illuxio's and Sepcret's report, Hexxon decided he wasn't needed here anymore. Instead, he would follow the patterns of light beams in the sky, and see where they pointed next.
  15. IC: Arena - Volcanic Region - Red Team HQ (Red Team)Like before, Greel snapped his fingers, resulting in an forming gateway. On the other side lay the largest of the island chain in the sea section of the field. "There you go," he said to his team leader. "Tell us what you found with your Team Crest." IC: Arena - Wastes/Central Region (Blue Team)Hexxon hesitated, though complied with the order; a hidden shroud of Shadow energy consumed him and his pet. He had been scanning the barren desert below for some sign of the flag, and investigating the appearance of a beam of light pulled him away from that. He doubted in would be an interesting experience, since he disliked bright lights. Arriving in the air close to the islands, he gave a mental sigh and had Anar fly toward the light. It would only take a few moments, he guessed.Kaytana was left unimpressed by the small outcome of activating the spire. Nothing else seemed to happen, and she didn't see and switches that might cause something else to occur. Shrugging, the Skakdi backed away from the tower and closed the dense growth that concealed it from view. Something could suddenly become apparent sooner or later, or someone looking for the flag might chance upon it like her. Then she could take them down. The Skakdi jumped back into the trees, taking multiple perches on the branches. Her eyes kept a look out for others while her powers had the plants surrounding her feel around again. Kaytana also reached out in different directions, beginning with the north.
  16. IC: Arena - Volcanic Region - Red Team HQ (Red Team)Greel nodded. "My powers are suited for stealthy work. I suppose the best help I can provide would be searching for their flag." Looking at Calik, he asked, "Want to start checking there? I can take you there before I head out."IC: Arena - Wastes/Central Region (Blue Team)Hexxon and Anar arrived in the central sector of the field via his Shadow teleportation. However, their presence was not detected by the sight or hearing of any other competitor in the area, thanks to the generators the Odinan equipped them with. Alright, he said mentally to Anar, as speaking verbally would be pointless. Let's take to the sky first to see if there's any flag around, then we'll stop by any spots where it may be hidden.Without another word, the Team Comet leader mounted himself on the dragon and the pair was off into the air. In case there was any trouble on the way, Hexxon decreased their density enough so that they'd pass through anything solid. Both kept their eyes on the landscape, surveying the uneven and barren terrain. While feeling around for other contestants, Kaytana detected the presence of... something else. Whatever it was, it didn't feel like a being or plant, or even a boulder, but more like a structure of some kind. Curious about it, the Skakdi leapt from tree to tree in that direction, making traveling easier for herself by manipulating the plant matter in her way. When she came to that spot, only a thicket greeted her eyes. That didn't discourage her, however, as she knew something to be beyond it from her plants. With but a single command, Kaytana forced the growth of trees, bushes, and grasses to part, revealing the Flag Spire. What's this? she aked herself, examining what looked like a control panel at its base. Intrigued, Kaytana reached out to it.
  17. IC: Arena - Volcanic Region - Red Team HQ (Red Team)The action startled Greel a little. He turned his head to see Calik, and grinning at who it was, he faced the Toa of Fire completely. "Ready to win this?" he asked, using his physical voice probably for the first time on Kai-Nam. It was deep, guttural, and echoed around the equipment room. Zaydan and Vertak would no doubt have heard it across the chamber. "Have any ideas?" It seemed the question wasn't just directed to Calik, but the other pair as well. IC: Arena - Mountainous Region (Blue Team)Hexxon considered searching for the opposing team's flag in the very heart of their territory -- the northern volcanic sector. That would be very risky, however, so it might be better to go there later, when it wasn't as occupied with Red Team members as it was now. He looked west towards the jungle, west to the sea, and then south at the wastes. Which seemed like the better place to start? Kaytana had raced off to the forest, and if she was looking for the flad for victory, that place was already covered. That only left the sea and barrens to scan, and he could easily fly or teleport to both. Maybe he ought to start with the wastes...Both Hexxon and Anar warped into the the shadows, vanishing from the scene, but not before attaching the silence and camouflage generators to themselves to avoid detection.
  18. IC: Arena - Mountainous Region (Blue Team)I can do both, the Odinan replied mentally. Then he added, The name's Hexxon, by the way. This one seemed to know how to organize situations well, so he didn't say anything else. He called the shadows for cover once again, also looking for whoever the robot was. It also occured to him that perhaps he might want to grab one more thing from the armory.By using the darkness hiding him and Anar, Hexxon transported himself and the dargon into the HQ. Whatever seemed useful for offense, stealth, and travel for the other sectors of the field he grabbed. Then the Team Comet leader disappeared from the armory, returning to the outside.IC: Arena - Volcanic Region (Red Team)Greel walked through the base's corridors, looking for the other Red Team members Rocky had seen. A peek into several of the rooms close to the front doors revealed their contents only to be equipment for whatever those chambers served for. By this time he guessed that other contestants were probably arming themselves in the armory, so he went straight there.Evidently, he was correct, as he found two others in the equipment room, one looking like a Toa and the second a Matoran. Hands in his pockets, Greel leaned against the doorway, where waited for the two to notice him.
  19. IC: Arena - Volcanic Region (Red Team)A portal opened near the Red Team's base for a moment, then closed before anything came out -- anything visible, that is. Greel deactivaded the silence and camouflage devices on his person, coming into view once more. This alerted Rocky of his presence, who ran up to and almost jumped on him. The Day Run competitor leapt into the air in surprise, though after realizing who it was, he relaxed. Switching off the lion's generators lifted off the aura of silence and disguise on him as well. With his quick scan of the wastes over, Greel returned to the HQ. From what he heard from Rocky, other contestants had arrived. Now it was time to consult with them to form any plans or to share them. While Rocky went back to guarding in stealth, his master entered the building once more.IC: Arena - Forest Region (Blue Team)Kaytana and her speeder, both cloaked and silenced, arrived in the east sector of the Arena. To be surrounded within her element filled the Skakdi with content and malice. Her power permeated throughout the wood, bringing and bending the trees, bushes, brush, and grass to her will. Eyes closed and taking a deep breath, a sinister grin spread over her mottled face, ideas of violence spawning in her mind. Branches of the plants twtiched slightly, as if a breeze passed through them. She quickly jumped off her vehicle onto the grasses and soil, and caused the nearby roots of trees to slither upward to the surface. Their bodies broke through the ground underneath her transport, making irregular patterns. In this way, they marked the spot where her speeder rested without making it obvious, looking like natural formations. The Team Blue member rushed further into the forest, still unheard and hidden due to her generators. By using the plants for help, Kaytana lifted herself into the treetops, so as to have a better view of the land. Any other competitor that stalked the forests would be ambushed and tossed about. Even now she felt around the field with the plants for another being...
  20. IC: Arena - Southern Mountains (Blue Team)Hexxon and Anar watched the Snowball pass by as the shadows began coating them. Unsure if this competitor was on his team or not, the Suletu bearer attempted to scan the being's mind to dtermine the answer. Well, he said mentally, I think my powers are self apparent. Hexxon caused the frozen shadows to rustle gently, as if a zephyr had actully touched them. And then there's my speaking in your head. He paused for a moment, before continuing. So, what do you have in mind?
  21. IC: Northern VolcanoArketh's body slammed into the plummeting Manta Ray as he flew up, almost crushing and reducing the skeleton into a pile of bones. Escaping into a plume of black energy he summoned, the shadowy being appeared above the falling transport and Toa. One of the speeding meteors, alighted in the air as it streaked through the sky, crashed into his shoulder. The rock crumbled to pieces, leaving him stunned and partially scorched.Recovering quickly enough to realize his foe's plan to escape, Arketh heeded Blacklight's advice, teleporting into Jasrich's path. While he didn't know what the creature his sword wanted him to kill his adversary like, he did jab the crystal blade at the Toa. More tendrils appeared about Arketh, lashing out from everything around to retrain Jasrich, so he wouldn't avoid being stabbed by shifting to the sides, up, or down.
  22. IC: Northern VolcanoArketh ignored Jasrich's words, propelling himself up with his wings towards the manta ray. Immediately he began slashing with his scythe and Blacklight, trying stab and slice the Toa in two. As that happened, strips reached up to ensare the transport so it could not move.
  23. IC: Arena - Volcanic RegionGreel nodded to Artorre as he picked his equipment from the selection. He didn't want anything offensive really, so he chose a single shield and silence and camouflage generators. Those would come in handy for some stealthy work. With that done, he equiped Rocky and himself with the devices, one of each on both, and set out into the fields. Greel had his hidden pet stay by the base for the moment, while he made way for the desert via a gateway. He flew over the sands of the wastes with his rocket boots, moving unseen and totally silent thanks to the generators. Now all he had to do was look for that flag...IC: Arena - Southern MountainsAnar nearly jumped on top of Hexxon when he saw him, for he was that happy and excited. After calming the dragon, the Team Comet leader snatched an extra sword and a shield on the way out. Once outside, he called shadows from his surroundings to cloak himself and the Rahi. Both were off to enemy territory.Kaytana had chosen a small variety of supplies from the armory, grabbing grenades, and silence and camoufage generators. Then she stealhily raced out, heading for the forest area, where she would be completely surrounded by her element. Anyone that passed through would be ambushed by the wood itself.
  24. IC: Arena - Southern MountainsKaytana was the first in, followed by her partner. Immediately, she looked to see if her speeder was there. It was, and the Skakdi hurried off to see what else had been supplied in the base. After that, she would be ready to pick off other contestants.Hexxon went to work searching for Anar. He wasn't too concerned with equiping himself with what was stocked here. The Team Comet leader mostly wanted to find the flag... and pick off any Ring members he saw along the way. The presence of said beings greatly iritated him. It was a good thing he brought staff along.IC: Arena - Volcanic RegionGreel entered the Team Red HQ, where he found Rocky. The Rock Lion was asleep -- or deactivaded, depending on how one's outlook on the creature. Walking over to the "slumbering" vehicle, the golden-skinned competitor awoke him by nudging him in the side and mane. Yellow light returning to his eyes, Rock picked himself off the ground. Then Greel went for a quick check in the equipment section. He didn't need much, though wasn't going to pass up the chance to see what was in.
  25. IC: Arena - Southern Mountains Hexxon and Kaytana took in a deep breath, preparing for themselves for whatever would happen. Being back in the Arena brought back memories from their first match here. Hopefully another Ring Construct wouldn't pop up.The Team Comet leader greeted Illuxio and Sepcret, and then reached out for the Skakdi's hand. Using his Shadow power, Hexxon teleported them further into the mountainous region, where he intended to acquire whatever they needed from the Blue Team HQ. Both wanted to get started right away, but it would be better to gear up if they wanted to gain some advantages.IC: Arena - Volcanic RegionGreel, too, was headed off to his team's base looking to find his own vehicle, only he was using a dimensional gateway to arrive there. Thanks to the map projection presented to the contestants, he knew exactly where to go.Excitement rose within the Team Slight member. The Day Run match looked and felt much more fun than any of those on Stelt. In his head Greel formulated plans on how to infiltrate the opposing team's territory, capture the flag, and otherwise conquer the game, whether he did it himself or helped. IC: Arena - Southern MountainsStepping around the southern area of the arena, Wasponax maneuvered his way through the rugged terrain. Unlike some of the contestants, the Dark Hunter did not care about actually winning the prizes, but just to fight. If he wanted to master this mech, he would need to practice more... and what better way to do it in a match against real enemies?I will beat them all down into the ground with my new power! the collective of insects thought. There should be a proper name for this vehicle before I win, however. After a few moments of some quick thinking, Wasponax came up with the new mech's name. I shall call it the Hive!
