Anyway I would meet myself before facebook was invented and give her the idea for facebook. That's my wise-guy answer, AND my serious answer.

Yeah, as I've asked more and more questions I've been made aware of just how the people on this site run. Doesn't matter how specific I make a question, there's always going to be one that does it differently.

Do we also get a translator too?  I mean, there are a lot of people from history I'd love to meet, but I'm kind of limited to a few modern languages.

Theoretically the same power that granted you the ability to meet this person would also allow you to communicate with them in some manner, so yes.

Having a Makuta's backstory could be interesting as well. Depending on how it's done, I could possibly integrate it into the story. Sure, I'd like that.

I'm not terribly busy, so I might be able to help out. What are some of the artistic liberties you'd be open to?

Most of the limitations revolve around the known core aspects of the BIONICLE universe. Also, the main character would be a matoran, so most story arcs will probably involve the limitations physically of what a matoran is capable of. Also, you don't need to worry about how busy you are currently, this project isn't something that'll be coming out next month or anything. You have as much time as possible to get things worked out. I'll add you to the potential list then.

Looks more like a copper to be honest, but based off of the thread where I read the new perks I would receive, it said orange. So I'm sticking with orange, no one can stop me.

I've always figured it's copper, since way back when BZP mailed OBZPCs a Copper Mask of Victory.

It's definitely supposed to be a copper color, which is why OBZPC's get the copper mask by the completed protobar. That also is an interesting fact I didn't know about, now I feel disappointed I will never get my Copper Huna. In the thread I got the info from it described it as orange, so I'm sticking with orange. I like orange.

I was a lurker back then, so it took a while to figure out what the deal was with all that strange lingo.

 

Since nearly all of the words back then have been de-filtered, would anyone mind telling me which things were filtered and why?

 

Why were youtube, brickset and other sites filtered out?

I believe that it was mainly to go against advertising other sites.

Some reasons as to why this could be the case is I would garner that it would be related to the fact that BZPower is supposed to be child friendly, and certain sites were not regarded as child friendly. These sites being those that would discuss adult topics or would allow for unmoderated interaction between strangers and the like. At least at the time they weren't regarded as child friendly, a lot has changed since the internet has become more widespread.

This is though as far as I'm aware of the situation and is by no means factual or correct.
