  1. 3/5; it was kinda generic, but I still liked it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVNqgPAh3Ps
  2. I don't wanna get in a big argument here, but there's something relevant to this I've never seen anyone bring up: Lego Friends has no EDIT: few male characters. Doesn't that make it sexist, by the reasoning that genders should be represented equally? If it does, then since Lego has been sexist in both directions, does that cancel it out or make it worse? If it doesn't, why? (For the record, I agree with Tahu3800 at least as far as the realities of marketing are concerned. I simply seek understanding. )
  3. Those masks...they look familiar for some reason...
  4. Huh, looks like another advertisement for stories. But you said you haven't seen one before, so that can't be it...odd. I guess it's just artwork. If only it linked to a story for me to read... XD Edit: Looks like I got ninja'd. Uh...Looks like this dude has a mild distaste for Hero Factory.
  5. This is inaccurate. The Glatorians did not destroy Spherus Magna, the planet destroyed itself due to its energized protodermis leaking from its core. If you need confirmation check this out. It's true that the energized protodermis leakage destroyed the planet; however, the problem was exacerbated by the Glatorian/Agori draining it during the Core War. http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/The_Shattering
  6. I need hero to save me now Because I feel like a monster Am I doing it right?
  7. 4.5/5; I don't really listen to Evanescence these days, but that song is still really good. P.S. Don't blink.
  8. 5/5; one of my favorite Weird Al songs.
  9. Fill my eyes with that double vision. No disguise for that double vision. Ooh, when it gets through to me, it's always new to me. My double vision gets the best of me.
  10. It might have just been déjà vu creating false memories, but I could swear I had some precognitive dreams when I was little. I once nearly suffocated thanks to an automatic car window.
  11. 4/5; I've never heard anything by them besides "If You Leave." Not bad!
  12. Nice try. I think it would've been more convincing if you hadn't claimed to be an intern yourself--seems too improbable that you just happen to be one. As a rule, the fewer coincidences there are, the better the prank.
  13. As far as the story goes, the adaptive armor Ghost Blasters. (What ya gonna shoot? GHOST BLASTERS!) Their power is the most versatile; it's basically a Green lantern ring.
  14. 4/5; Not my favorite U2 song, but still a good one and a nice throwback to their roots. Since we're posting punk-type stuff...
  15. 4/5; I don't watch football, but that was a cool piece. The song doesn't start right away, but I recommend watching the whole thing:
  16. That would be terrible, BUT if that ever happened TLG would be rich from twilight FANGIRLS buying the sets. So in a way, that would still somehow work. Yeah, but then they'd have to keep marketing to said fangirls to keep their money flowing in. It'd probably spread to other lines, too. Before long, Lego would exist purely to make Twilight sets. </sarcasm>
  17. Does this look familiar: http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Mata_Nui_Online_Game_Walkthrough That's what I suspected, but it is good to have confirmation and all of that. Yeah, that's the walkthrough, but they've omitted the trivia section. A quick search of the Biomedia project also didn't turn up anything. But you're welcome anyway, haha. I went on wayback machine and downloaded the 2006 downloadable version of the game from the old website. It came with the trivia! I downloaded my copy in 2006, burned it to disk, and then copied it to this machine. Looking through those files and that game, there is no trivia that you mentioned and no PDF files to speak of. Was it a separate download? Found the place on web.archive: http://web.archive.org/web/20060701160328/http://www.lego.com/eng/bionicle/games/matanuiOnline1.aspx So the walkthrough was a separate download from the game. Yup, the original version of that page is where I got it way back (see what I did there?) when. I'm kinda surprised the download works on the archived version; good job finding it!
  18. Does this look familiar: http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Mata_Nui_Online_Game_Walkthrough That's what I suspected, but it is good to have confirmation and all of that. No, Ta-Koro was released first, as indicated by the fact that the game files for the cutscenes have the only Ta-Koro one (Tahu meeting the Ta-Matoran in the forest) tagged as '2-1', whilst the subsequent Ga-Koro ones all begin with 3. Thus Ta-Koro is the second chapter and Ga-Koro the third. Hm, I guess Ta-Koro was just blocked in the initial release, with only the beach. Thanks for clearing that up. The game's first chapter was just the beach, with Ta-Koro inaccessible due to a lava flow. In the second chapter the lava cooled and the first village became accessible. Then the third chapter began with Maku appearing on the beach with her boat that provided a way to Ga-Koro. Trust me, I was there. Yeah, that's what I meant. I'll trust you.

  20. The WORST thing? Hire Stephanie Meyer as head story writer. I'm sorry for any nightmares or retching this post may have induced. Please don't sue me.

  22. I like both. I think they tell totally different types of stories. It's like the difference between novels and short stories. With a short story or movie, you don't have a lot of room to flesh things out, but you can really pack a punch if you know what you're doing. In a novel or TV series, you can take forever to develop characters, the plot, the world, etc. Both approaches are valid, and neither one can really substitute for the other.
  23. Likes Nic Cage and lasers. Claim to lack emotion indicates Vulcan heritage.
