  1. Very very true. So yeah, I think it's safe to assume that the OoMN will be the next target. (Make one wonder... since the order was kept a secret, did Velika even know of its existence?
  2. Velika might try to target the rest of the Order of Mata Nui members, but it is possible that they might (doubtably) disband if he succeeds in killing Helryx.
  3. My biggest was when they introduced all the Karda Nui Makuta (and ultimately all the Makuta species) and then proceeded to kill them all off in one swift stroke. We didn't get very much character development at all, but I had gotten rather attached to those guys.
  4. It was said that Artakha doesn't like making living being after his failure with the crystal serpents. He got specific instructions on how to build the Toa Mata so that's why he was able to do that, but without those previous orders, he has kept away from such creations, rather dabbling in weapons and tools and other lifeless but useful objects.
  5. "Ah, this is the life. Wake up in the morning, have a little breakfast, and then spend all day trying to avoid being fried."

Haha actually I was quoting Lewa when they were in Karda Nui fighting the Avohkah. :) But yeah, I can totally see a chicken saying this lol

  6. I agree. Very well thought out indeed. Sheesh, the more I find out about this, the more I really want to see the finished version haha. Bring it on! On that topic, I was thinking about the Skakdi you were going to bring in, would they only be able to choose from vision powers that the six Piraka had, since those are the only ones we know about, or were you going to add in some special onces that could potentially have been a skakdi power?
  7. I'd go along with the Barraki idea, I mean after all, they're back to their "normal" selves, (minus Carapar and Takadox is who knows where) and they're most likely going to try and carve out their own empires again, so they'd be prime targets for Velika. Maybe you could have it that Takadox allied himself with Velika to kill of his fellow warlords with the promise that he'll be the only one left as supreme ruler of that world? Sounds like something that old insect would do.
  8. Tahu Nuva was the very first Toa I ever got, so Nuva are my official favs. Silver armor, really weird looking masks, they rocked. The Toa Mata would be a close second, just because of their original design, and that they were the very first, I get nostalgic every time I gland over those guys.
  9. I like the idea of the followers. Though random rag dolls would be fun too, like in the Onu-Koro caves, you had those broken Bohrok, if you could have randomly placed beings that the mask could animate, that'd be interesting. Btw, what other types of masks are you planning on adding?
  10. Ohhh I see. That makes sense, and I checked biosector01 and it just says that the mask was made with "Disks of Gravity" whatever combination that is haha. Ah well, they're probably made from similar ones just one is stronger than another.
  11. Actually Bonesii they have found the mixture for the Garai, because the Matoran of Metru Nui were said to use levitation and gravity Kanoka disks in structures and vehicles, so they would simply have to create a mask using the correct level gravity disks.
  12. I think it was theorized that the Avohkii (or Mask of Light) was infused with Toa power on it's creation, so that's why it sparked the transformation Takua experienced. I think that was the only difference between it and other great masks, once it fulfilled it's destiny and creating the one and only toa of light, it just was a really shiny mask. At least that is my understanding, feel free to throw in something I may have missed. As for the Ignika (or mask of life) it's a really bad idea for a matoran to wear it. Reason being is that that mask was to only be worn by the person who was destined to don it and revive the universe (examples being Matoro and the toa who was a part of Jovan's group). Wearing the mask resulted in being used to revive the Great Spirit, though I think that was said to only happen in Karda Nui. If it was used elsewhere, the mask just cursed whoever touched it. The only exception would be Mata Nui, because his spirit was placed into the mask itself and then the mask out of self preservation made a body for him. So, technically a Toa of Life isn't really possible unless the Mask decided to make a Toa and then give him/her life powers. As far as what happens when Takanuva takes off his mask, he did that a couple of times in the story and he remained a Toa.
  13. Well I tried the new update, and I say to you: well done indeed. Earlier on I was playing as iron and psionic toa less often because of lack of abilities, but those fit them very nicely Keep up the good work, I'll keep an eye out for more updates (two eyes as often as I can spare them) Btw, I like the new mask designs, but I must ask, what would the Tryna do? Will there be random rahi skeletons or something lying around that they can reanimate? Could they "save" a defeated enemy before they disintegrate and make them fight for themselves while they hide in a safe place? Sounds like a cool possibility.
  14. Yeah, they're back to the way they looked, but they're far from their normal status, since Takadox is an exile, and Carapar is dead. but it said that Pridak had gotten his army back together, so apparently they've still got conquest on their minds haha
  15. I see. I had so wished that lego had made official versions of them pre-mutation haha, just for the sake of knowing what each had really looked like (especially Ehlek and Takadox, since they're the most bizarre of the bunch in my opinion). I would've assumed that they would've had some sort of powers to begin with, because in my mind if they didn't, it wouldn't be hard for someone to send a skakdi assassin into their fortress and try to exterminate them, right? (also side note, it was stated that Ehlek's species was tampered with to be able to combat Makuta, so I'm assuming they gave him and his kind some sort of abilities to be able to stand up against the 42 power wielding maniacs lol)
  16. I wonder... this kinda differs from the original topic, but I wonder whether the Barraki had powers in their original form. I'm assuming they did, because how on earth would they conquer the known universe if they were powerless. (I mean, yes I know Takadox always had his hypnosis abilities, but other than that). The weird thing is then, did the Pit Mutagen take away their powers, aside from Ehlek's spines, and a few "natural" abilities granted to them? I always wondered about that, because of all the Bionicle villains, they stood out to me as the least powerful beings as far as abilities go, (I mean take the year before, the Piraka were loaded with powers haha)
  17. Hmm, okay that makes sense. Yeah, he does look most at home with those on him. You can close the topic now if you'd like.
  18. Thanks Bonesiii, although with the Hordika, they were all Toa, so it makes sense that the visorak vemon would effect them all the same way, while the Barraki were all from different species. But I'll accept that option for now I suppose
  19. Hey all, this question has been bugging me ever since the Barraki came out. It was explained by Greg that they all look different because they were chosen from different species, but interestingly enough, they all share one common physical characteristic: Their mandible. Now, I could understand Takadox, and Carapar, and maybe Mantax having those because they go along with the form that they were mutated into, but Kalmah, and Pridak being squid and shark-like respectively. I know that one reason they all have those is because of the sets, but story-wise is there a reason why the Pit mutated all of them to have that particular feature? And are they the only Pit prisoners who have that feature, or did the other escapees develop those too? Thanks!
  20. Just started, so still getting used to all the gadgets and such... hopefully I'll figure it out, eventually lol ;)
