  1. Sweet. I look forward to seeing these take shape
  2. Yeah, they said that Mutran was in a sour mood that day, so that's why he went the extra mile on Radiak. Poor guy, he was my favorite of the shadow matoran haha I guess he's having a hard time fitting in with the other matoran. At least he can fly still haha
  3. Man there are just so much to choose from..... I'd have to go with the original Hau. Just because I love Tahu, and it was like *the* symbol for Mata Nui and all. But most of the original masks are special to me. But I also loved the mask of shadows because of the way you could wear it two different ways. I was so happy when they brought it back for Icarax.
  4. If that could become a possibility, I'd be totally sold. I'm an engineer by trade, so playing a character that hasn't "powers" but can use tech to fight? That's what I'd totally go for. On that note, (and a slight tangent from matoran) is it possible for you to make a toa take "control" of an Exo-toa and control it? Like, gain extra health, and can use the blasters, but just can't use elemental powers while inside, (but can still use mask powers) kinda like in the story? I just think it'd be cool having random exo toa wandering around and letting a toa character hop inside it and use it as extra armor
  5. If a Kane-Ra charges you, don't run! Stand perfectly still, arms at your sides, and avoid looking it in the eyes. If it decides you're not a threat, it may break off its charge before it gores or flattens you. If it doesn't, well, you won't be around to complain about the bad advice I gave you. - Rahaga Pouks The challenge of being a Makuta is choosing which powers to use to destroy your enemies. It gets boring using the same ones all the time. Variety is the spice of destruction, after all. - Makuta Antroz Your possession of the Mask of Time may leave me inclined to stay my hand, but we both know that there are a thousand ways I could destroy you right now. And 941 of them hurt. - Makuta Teridax to name but a few...
  6. I always thought that if I had an Olmak I could find a universe that BIONICLE was real, then I'd collect all the different masks of power and then take them back home with me, and use them here lol literally making myself a superhero haha
  7. Mask of Creation. The ability to either create out of nothing, or figure out how to create anything you want? Totally up my alley.
  8. I'm sold haha. This is where Kanoka disk powers would come in handy at giving matoran different powers. Oh! Or maybe creating special matoran weapons like the ones Karzahni gave the Voya Nui matoran. That'd be a way to give the little guys an edge. As far as matoran types go... maybe a spy matoran type, (kinda like Piruk from Voya Nui) that can become stealthy, or something like that? And I do like the idea of an engineer, gives Nuparu and Velika a chance to shine.
  9. Really? I always thought that Hordika venom added to the inner darkness when it unleashed the Rahi side, since it was the Visorak that caused it, and they were always associated with the Makuta. And I'm sure I read somewhere in a book on it that Roodaka said that the venom's effects helped serve the shadows, so I think even though Rahi aren't morally good or evil in and of themselves, I think that the Hordika venom does influence the victim to lean more towards darkness and evil.
  10. That's probably true... but considering he got killed just because he tried to warn his fellow Makuta about the impending doom, I'd say his chances of survival were slim no matter what he did.
  11. Icarax wasn't good at all, he was just a headstrong rebellious Makuta who hated following Teridax, and was sworn to do whatever he could to foil his Plan. Krika... yes he drained his inner light, and therefore became evil, but my theories was that he regretted doing a lot of the atrocities that he and his kind had committed, seeing the Toa as who they wanted to be, and because of their actions could never achieve that role. Now, apparently he wasn't as bad as the others, I mean, with Gali, he could have just outright killed her, there and then, and that would've been perfectly acceptable in his plan to stop Teridax. But he chose to show her mercy and gave her the option to just leave the core. I think that there was a small sliver of light that was trying to resurface after eons of being smothered by darkness. Who know? Maybe the method of light draining was never really completed when he tried and he had a tiny bit left, which gave him this "conscious" that he apparently had. As far as Miserix goes, it was stated that he also drained his inner light during his time of imprisonment, so he would also be classified as evil as well, even though he did it just so that his "brothers" wouldn't have an advantage over him in battle.
  12. Wears a Kanohi Felnas (or mask of disruption) and makes the mask use it's powers against you, devolving you into a slime ball. My mask
  13. I give you a nice new jacket for your bday, it turns out to be a "suicide" jacket, and you explode promptly. My mask.
  14. Oh yes. I felt as though I had been really heartlessly cheated out of a decent appearance, having heard that the Toa Mata would briefly "appear" in the Lego movie, and then attending the film and seeing that a still image of them from 2001 was on the screen for less than half of a second. And that that was their only appearance in the film. That might be the biggest disappointment for me. I don't know, when I saw it I was just kind of glad that BIONICLE got an appearance at all. Actually, when I saw it I wanted to start freaking out in my theater seat, but I guess not all BZPower members feel the same way. Same here, I totally wasn't expecting BIONICLE to get a spot at all, so I was really happy to see them make that reference. I was fine with it, for what it was worth. But you're right about the "unmentionable" thing... would've been cool to see the Mata help take down Lord Business lol
  15. That would be interesting... but then there'd be a bunch of matoran types because we've already got dozens of mask powers, and only so many element powers. So, the tables would be flipped, masks would only be so many types, and there's be a *bunch* of different Toa and such lol
  16. A random squad of storm troopers rush in and start shooting everything. Naturally they don't hit anyone but the distraction is such that I can sneak up behind you and drag you outside, where I leave you tied and gagged in an alley. My Mask.
  17. I'm beginning to wonder if Velika was even going to succeed in killing off the beings in the GB fortress... at least not all of them, maybe there'll be one tragedy or so. Just cuz, all those characters are one's we've grown to really know and enjoy (especially Axonn Brutaka and Vezon) so I am hesitant to assume that Greg was going to eliminate them all in one blow. At least, that's not how I would wanted to continue the story, but then again I'm not the writer haha
  18. I think it's likely. Though, that leads me to wonder... why did he not warn the other matoran about the Piraka? I mean, as a great being, he would have obviously known that they weren't Toa, (I mean, if he helped create those beings, I'm sure he could tell the difference between a Skakdi and a Toa, right?) Unless he really didn't care, and just went along with the resistance just for the sake of keeping his identity a secret.
  19. Soooo I tried it out, and it worked perfectly for the most part. Except for one small thing, when I was Onewa, and was on land and met with some rahi, the game decided to crash... other than that, it worked perfectly, that was the only incident. My thoughts? I liked it a lot. Though, I finished it in a couple of days, and now I'm wishing that there was more to it haha, seemed a bit too short haha, but that's just because I'm a hard core gamer, and I like having a lot of stuff to do on a game. But I did like it a lot. Well done indeed!
  20. Is that how you picked your powers for your Makuta in your serials Bob? lol But yeah, whenever I need to think of a power I always go back to that page to get inspiration haha
  21. Hmm, very true. They really botched him up in the movie...
  22. I know right? They had such a great backstory for Tuma, what with the "Empire of the Skrall" story serial, and then in the movie they kinda portray him as someone who's way too overconfident, and makes mistakes easily. That wasn't the Tuma that I came to know about in the comics and serials. I was even beginning to start rooting for the Skrall near the end haha
  23. Mask of weather control? Or maybe for more evil users a mask of insanity? Or how bout a mask of energy absorption, which automatically absorbs energy from the surrounding area, or energy blasts from enemies and stores it, to "recharge" the user later on, or even let the user harness it and use it against his adversary?
