  1. "I hate Norik. He gets all the screen time!" Boreas
  2. Thanks for these! Apologies for stating the incorrect document name. If anyone can find anything else regarding 2001 and 2002 as far as economics are concerned, it would be much appreciated. I need all of the information I can get my hands on. Or my cursor on.
  3. I'm writing a research paper and I cannot find the sales figures from 2001 and 2002 for Lego. If anyone knows where and how to find them, please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you.
  4. I hope that the designers do not bring the sets down by incorporating some type of gimmick for that year only. If they do what they did this year with the gear functions and dual-functioning weapons, or at least add something without sacrificing the form of the set. It is all too common that design comes second with not only Lego lines, but with other toy lines. Just look at some of the Transformers toys... :/
  5. I just finished my play through of this game up through chapter 2!!! Here's the playlist if you want to see me play it!
  6. You have completed chapter 2. Congradumidations :3
  7. As far as I can recall, Star Wars back in 2000. I got into the movies when I was about four years old, and one day I saw a commercial for the first Millennium Falcon set. I got that set for Christmas that year (or at least I think that was the case). I still have it assembled on my shelf.
  8. Map side, of course! I was just planning on putting some thumbtack on the corners and sides of the poster and putting on my display. It's just easier than framing it, although that would be nice...
  9. Just got mine yesterday, and I love it! I really want to hang up that poster... Oh yeah, that transparent piece of ABS is pretty cool, too.
  10. This is very likely to happen. Probably at the start of next year, though. What will most likely happen at the end of this story year is most likely having the Toa and Ekimu reclaim the Mask of Creation, then Ekimu using the mask to grant the Toa new and stronger forms. But that's for S&T, so I'll just get on with it! I would love to see new forms for the current Toa, but I would also like for it to utilize the newer systems that the reboot has introduced. For example, I love the new heads and the mask pop-off function is great, but I don't like how loose the masks are on the Toa. If they made all of the masks shape to the new heads just as they did with the Skull Spider masks, then I feel like the masks would hold on better and be a lot less annoying to handle. I would also like to see new molds and (maybe) new colors, but I think everyone would like that. New colors for existing molds would be great, too. As far as themes go, I'm not really sure. I think I will just leave it up to Lego to figure that out.
  11. I apologize for this, but I feel that something like this is just lazy. They could have done what they did with the first season flashback villain (whom I do not remember the name of at the moment), or they at least could have held a contest to fill the void. Breakout was still good, though. Oh, and welcome to BZPower!
  12. Scratch what I had said before. My local TRU had Splitter Beast, and I could not resist the parts. As far as I know, it is the last set released by Lego that has a chest armor piece that is completely devoid of printing.
  13. I'm just going to throw Mass Effect into this conversation...
  14. Got shot in the back and is bleeding out. "I know... I was ne... never as good as th... the original..." Roodaka
  15. I think the Matoran year is about the same length as a normal Earth year, if I recall. This is an interesting theory, especially when factoring in temperature regulation for the robot as a season. This also makes me think of Naming Day, which was a Matoran holiday celebrated annually (I think).
  16. Just to let everyone know, the color problem has been fixed. No new parts, though...
  17. "I can talk using words now. Weird, huh?" Voporak
  18. I think I'm going to take a break from this thread for a while. The arguments here are getting way out of hand with no conclusions. See ya later!
  19. "I am soon much better than that stupid Karzahni plant! I even have an original name!" Botar
  20. I would like to revise my earlier statement. I think I broke my Extended edition of LDD. Help me. . It's like that for everyone at the moment. We are talking about the color problem, right?
  21. I approve, especially for the two in bold!
  22. I read somewhere that it may be a problem that Lego is having with updating the parts inventory for the program and that it is progressing rather slowly. I am having the same problem as well, but if it means new parts (and possibly colors) when it is dealt with, then I am willing to wait.
  23. Part 2 of my play through can be view right here, right now!
  24. I would love to see the Kanohi Tugitu in other colors, maybe silver. I love the concept of the mask; to me it's the "Liquid Luck" of Bionicle (in mask form). Not to say that brown is a bad color, because it is not a bad color. The brownish-bronze feel that you gave the mask makes it look like it is almost tarnished, which coincides with the "misfortune" detail of the mask. Great job with all of these masks.
