  1. In case anyone didn't notice, today is Corpus Rahkshi's 2nd anniversary! Here's to a good two years, and more to come.
  2. Probably not cared much, but appreciated the effort. If you could create a new Kanohi power...
  3. IC: Gaever / Nynrah Anyways... "Before work is resumed, nutrient intake may be beneficial," Gaever decided, perhaps noting a similar sensation at this point. The supply of slop, inside the stone structure, was still substantial; she went to grab two bowls, offering one to Phantom.
  4. Out comes a word used synonymously with evil. In goes a thesaurus.
  5. I think that's already an unfortunate accident. Someone gives Ta-Koro 57 liters of soda.
  6. IC: Thurisaz / Gym "Tube, please run to the Infirmary, get a stretcher, and bring it back here." Thurisaz directed his sleepier vassal - they needed to get Torc to the Infirmary, that one had gotten bloody quickly. It was definitely over now though. "That would be a victory for Orimnoc," he announced, moving Orimnoc's name forward and scratching out her opponent's. "Please be careful reclaiming your weapon. The fight is over: do not inflict any further injury." he instructed Orimnoc. And shortly, the final two matches were wrapping up as well. "Vyper is the victor in her fight against Kaboom," the tournament host soon declared, adding before long, "And wrapping things up, Diode is victorious against Beat." "Well fought, winners and losers alike! There was excellent strength and strategy on display in round one, which is now concluded. There will be a few minutes for remaining contestants to heal, recuperate, and prepare as they see fit. Then we'll get started on round two!"
  7. Given the lengthy silence I was worried I was the only one with concerns about Torment, but it turns out the opposite was true. Knowing that, I stand with Scorp on this one. Corpus' student body is already at least as diverse as any human population, just contrast Short and Shark and Gaever and Poly and even the mentioned Flabber ... it's not an issue. But what you propose is not even half Rahkshi, unsuitable for a Rahkshi high school. As for the functionality, sure, we've seen enough weird stuff in Bionicle that it probably could exist somewhere. But for the purposes of the RPG, it probably shouldn't exist here - such complex handwavy tech/power is unprecedented in Corpus, and allowing it once would open the door for every such bizarre creation. That's just not what this RPG is about - this concept strikes me as more of a Bionifight thing, honestly. Maybe Wyrd would have approved this, I don't know. In his absence, though, I'd rather err on the side of caution and not. Sorry.
  8. Oh cool, an Undertale thing! It's pretty accurate too. The arms look too much like tentacles, but I guess that's how they are in the game, so that oddity is a forgivable price of fidelity. And the rest is basically spot-on, especially the head. Good work!
  9. Ah, so the drill has its own power source, rather than drawing energy from her. Hmm. I think this leads into worries about balancing. The giant drill that is her lower body will surely be harder to damage, and better at inflicting damage, than typical legs, no? If so, there should be a drawback, and if it isn't tiring easily, what is it? Is it that she's vulnerable enough to being tipped over, and hindered enough by it, to even things out? Someone let me know if I'm being too finicky about this. I just want to be careful about approving something so unusual. It's fine, I think most of us can sympathize with being too busy to post. Thanks for letting us know you're still around.
  10. It's so very similar to the original MNOG in every detail that it's dismissed as a soulless, unoriginal copy, leading G2 to be cancelled. Again. G3 is unveiled in 2021.
  11. Okay. It's been a while but I have some thoughts on this now. Predictably, my concerns are mostly toward her modifications. One, why does she have them in the first place? I tentatively assume her Makuta made them to replace her missing limbs, but why would he do that? If it was a punishment, it seems like a pretty bizarre one. Second, in continually powering this drill to remain upright, I would expect her to tire rapidly - how does she cope with this? Last, each arm can split once into two for an overall maximum of four, correct? (This seems likely, but it's a little bit ambiguous and I want to be sure.) Aside than that, I think Torment looks good. Also, I'm probably going to move the tournament forward soon. Dark_Stranger hasn't read the PM I sent him a week ago, and hasn't posted since long before that. Onaku, I thought you were still around, but if you want Orimnoc to have a chance to move on, you had best post as her within days. Things are just too slow now to keep waiting forever.
  12. IC: Gaever / Nynrah "Of course," Gaever replied tentatively. "We are... friends."
  13. But the stereotype was that the best power for bad guys is silence, not that all people with silence powers are the best bad guys.
  14. Thanks everyone! I always appreciate the feedback, praise and critique. The 2008 Avohkii is really big though, and I don't like the shape nearly as much as the original. The gold resembling a coat is intentional, part of the adventurer thing I was aiming for. If it's not to your liking though, fair enough; it's good anyways to hear that came through. Similarly, I chose the armor on the lower leg to resemble a boot. I can see that it might be a little odd, but overall I think it meets that purpose fairly well.
  15. IC: Gaever / Nynrah It was probably an honor. Gaever smiled a little, and nodded. "Then... I suppose you will be," she told her. Sort of to herself, or maybe no one, yet so Phantom could hear, Gaever tried, "...she is Phantom." Yes... that did fit. * * * GM IC: Palma Luffy's apprehension was misplaced, Palma's job was to help damaged Rahkshi and she had never faltered in it. "That is why I'm here." She inspected Xi more carefully, checking his pulse and breathing, looking in his eyes and mouth, checking fluid systems, and so on. Weak pulse, shallow breathing, sick stomach, but no reason for it visible. "I can treat these symptoms, but the cause would seem to be more psychological then physical." She sighed, the new breed was still new enough that their mental health was one of the few areas where her expertise was limited. "When he wakes up, can you try to talk to him? Calm him down, figure out what's bothering him this much."
