  1. Thought about writing fanfiction about him once, then not bothered. If the Great Mask of Laziness existed...
  2. IC: Vlad / Gym "I don't blame you. I don't much either," Vlad assured Blossom. (And Leaf.) He had not, of course, realized that Garrotte had not been serious. "Ah. ...I apologize." he replied, though he wondered whose that particular communication failure actually was. Recovering, he agreed, "...Yes, it is vise to be prepared."
  3. IC: Vlad / Gym "It looks like zere ist a bracket," he pointed out, gesturing to Thurisaz' board. "Vhich might mean newcomers cannot simply join in."
  4. GM IC: Palma Unfortunately for the injured, Tear's distress diverted Palma's attention once more, if only briefly. "Spindle, you're still upsetting my patients. And I already warned you about this." She sighed, more disappointed than angry. "So now I'm going to ask you to leave."
  5. "Visorak make the best pets. I named mine Rupert." Kollorak the Keelerak
  6. IC: Vlad / Gym Vlad nodded agreement. "Probably. Zere vill still be fightink around aftervard." There was always fighting around, its fascination would probably fade soon. He examined the tournament a little more. "...Zis looks relatively healthy, actually," he admitted.
  7. IC: Lucid / Helkyrie's Room "Thank you," Lucid said with a smile. She spun around one of the chairs, and then spun it around again. Actually sitting in it seemed to be beside the point.
  8. IC: Lucid / Roof, Dormitories Lucid followed behind Helkyrie, careful not to hit her head on any pelicans.
  9. Out comes Umarak the Hunted. In goes whatever's hunting Umarak.
  10. IC: Gaever / Nynrah The best place to sleep was probably not right here - the stone seat would not be comfortable, and as day broke it would be drenched in hot sunlight. So gently, carefully, Gaever reached under the sleeping Phantom and picked her up, then carried her over to a nearby tree and deposited her softly on the ground beneath it. That was not ideal either, but soil would be better than stone, and the tree would lend protection from the sun that the unfinished forge could not. At least, not right now. She would continue to work on it while Phantom slept, gathering wood from other nearby trees, sorting out thin flat stones perhaps suitable as roofing tiles, mixing more mortar, and so on - the things needed to complete the roof of the forge. (All in a close enough vicinity to her sleeping friend to watch out for her, of course.) * * * IC: Vlad / Gym "Here ist zer Gym," Vlad announced as they arrived. Some small tournament thing looked to be occurring; Vlad kept a reasonable distance, not really wanting to become involved. "Zer Armory ist in zere," he explained, pointing to the doors as he lead the group toward them. * * * IC: Lucid / Roof "I would," Lucid answered, reassuringly simply. You could do divination with tea, though she didn't usually. "Lead the way." She was pretty sure if she just set off in a random direction it would be the right one (that worked conspicuously often), but that might unnerve Helkyrie further, so she refrained.
  11. IC: Lucid / Roof "Of all the heavens' members, it is the stars to which meditation is most seemly. On the bold sun that subtle effort would be wasted. We should move forward." Lucid replied, though this went without saying, standing up. "I do hope you have gained from this, or that you will. Otherwise, the fruit has been for naught."
  12. IC: Thurisaz / Gym This was moving most abruptly! "Exxan is victorious over Orimnoc," he announced. He was certainly vaguely intrigued by the emergence of dark histories and secret vendettas. "And indeed, with Vyper's concession, Percy takes victory," he added with Vyper's odd concession. Then suddenly Geuua too had conceded, hammer torn apart by Glass' horrific weapon. "Glass, too, has won and will move forward." Though maybe his weapon shouldn't. "All of you fought briefly, but well," he declared, moving forward and scratching out names as needed. Only Paladin and Diode were yet going at it. He shifted in his seat, observing with visible lordly interest.
  13. GM IC: Palma The nurse paused a moment to wearily address Spindle. "The school doesn't carry extra suits." It was something Toxin and Rain had learned the hard way when they lost theirs. "And even if it did, I wouldn't be handing them out to anyone whose suit I could still salvage, let alone someone with one in perfect condition." She needed only a glace to discern a distinct lack of injuries anywhere near that debilitating in that group. Lest this spark further argument among the group, she added, "And either calm down or take your arguments outside, please. This is not the place for it."
  14. IC: Vlad / Hallway "Sometime, I guess. You don't often see it because of zer regeneration," Vlad replied, unsure. "Vell... also because zer stone tries to devour thinks, if zey get in zer vay of its power source or it becomes separated," he added. ...Sort of like him sometimes? Hmm.
  15. IC: Lucid / Roof "I think I've said enough for now," Lucid replied. * * * IC: Vlad / Hallway "It helps zat zer valls... unt zer rest of zer buildink... regenerate vhen damaged," Vlad remarked. * * * IC: Gaever / Nynrah Somehow Gaever was still surprised at this, if just a little. But she could explain. "Living entities periodically require sleep, a state of benign unconsciousness. This requirement is signaled by tiredness - a lack of strength and energy, and slowness of thought and movement. When these sensations occur, one generally seeks a safe and comfortable horizontal surface, a bed, to lie down on. Resting there, they will naturally lose consciousness - fall asleep - for several hours, until sufficient rest has been had and they simply awaken, no longer tired."
  16. IC: Thurisaz / Gym "Excellent," Thurisaz thanked Tube. "Now, if you and Aerahk could please carefully load Torc onto it and deliver him to the Infirmary." With a graceful gesture he indicated unambiguously to the fallen Heat Vision Rahk. "Again - carefully." he added. "Don't make his injuries worse." And it looked that the remaining combatants were now ready. "Okay everyone!" he announced. "The time has come for our tournament's second round! Rules are the same as before - no interference, murder, etc - and the pairings are: Diode versus Paladin! Percy versus Vyper! Geuua versus Glass! And Exxan versus Orimnoc!" On the board behind him these names were moved to confront each other. Four of the platforms - moat-surrounded and circular, with perimeter pillars and arenaceous surface - arose once more, awaiting their respective combatants. "I wish each of the participants good fortune. The second round may now begin!"
