  1. +1 mystery -.5 Creative Archipelago +.5 Kanohi Force Piano +2 -2 Comedies Grand total of 1/5
  2. I'd be down for that one haha. But I think they partially have that...didn't lego make Hobbit themed sets?
  3. As much as I would love for the masks to be canonized, they probably will just remain exclusives. I quite like the golden Kulta mask (don't have it, but want it). The trans orange Mask of Fire is amazing as well. I doubt they will become important, but we'll see.
  4. I believe Bingzak said his entire family is dead, will that count as a family appearing in the story? Also, what if they were revived by the Skull Grinder, would they count as living relatives? That turned morbid quickly...but cool I would be on board with this (doubt the target audience will *sigh*)
  5. I actually like them. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Inika sets, but these prototypes look amazing! I kind of wish we got these instead of the Hordika...
  6. This is my first epic I hope you enjoy it. Each chapter has the name of a toa; whichever toa's name appears for the chapter is who's thoughts are being narrated (3rd person omniscient) (If you've read the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan, you know what style I'm referring to). Enjoy the story Here's my review topic! The Masters of Okoto: The Lost Chronicles 1: Gali Gali walked quietly through the mountains contemplating where her destination really was. She knew she was looking for someone named Ekimu in an ancient city, but she didn’t know more than that. Kivoda, the Protector of Water, had mentioned that she wouldn’t be alone on her quest and Gali started thinking about that. There are others? Why haven’t I met them yet? What if we can’t work together? The more she thought about it, the more upset she got as she walked. She finally decided to sit on a rock and meditate on the matter for a few minutes. As she sat, she looked around and thought the view looked rather grand. From up there she could see the jungle, lush and green. The trees looked just as fluffy as the two clouds that were in the sky at the moment. On the other side of a rocky ridge was her village: her new home. It was a mostly rocky beach, but there were some sandy places in the distance just barely visible. The aqua-grey landscape glowed like the water that connected to it. Just seeing the region like this put her mind at ease, but not for long; it then raised a question: Why would anyone attack such a beautiful place? She pushed the thought out of her head and decided it was best to relax and meditate on the more pressing matters: she began to focus on what she should say to the others that Kivoda had mentioned. She closed her eyes and began to meditate. As she began to relax she heard something…music? She knew she must have been going mad. No, she heard harmonies and melodies coming further down the trail she was walking. She couldn’t concentrate on her meditation with that music playing and she was now curious as to who could be playing it so well. She didn’t know anyone in her village that could play that well; it was as if a God was playing this music! She decided to continue down the trail and check it out for herself. She trekked further into the mountains towards the sound of the music. It sounded as if it were just over the next stony ridge. She climbed it and just as she was about to peak over the ridge, she heard footsteps coming toward her from the left. She concentrated hard; she could feel a small well of water buried under the ground. If she were to be in trouble, she would utilize it against the enemy. She looked toward her left and couldn’t believe her eyes. Casually walking toward her was a figure similar to herself; only green and orange. He had a mischievous look to him as if he were up to no good, but he had a golden glowing mask just like the one she had to get before leaving for the city. “Hello,” he waved. “Lovely day for walk-hike in the mountains.” Gali, still dazed, shook her head and chuckled, “I suppose it is.” “I’m Toa Lewa, the master of jungle,” he said as he stuck is hand forward. “Gali, toa of water,” she met his hand and they shook. “Do you happen to hear-see music?” he asked. “Yeah. I was about to look over this ridge when I heard you approaching.” She looked at Lewa and chuckled. “Your footsteps startled me. Glad we’re on the same side.” The toa of jungle chuckled in agreement. “Let’s see what’s making that sound.” The two toa climbed up and stood on the ridge, looking down into a small rocky valley with a few trees in its center. The trees were the only thing in the landscape that wasn’t grey…except for the being sitting on a rock near the trees.
  7. Hello there! I'm not new to the site, but I'm new to writing epics. My epic can be read here. Please leave me any feedback, feel free to interpret things, give me ideas (no promises I'll use them), and whatnot.
  8. I don't know where they came from either... However, I really would like the masks that Nuparu, Jaller, and Hahli have. I like those designs quite a bit. The one Kongu has is a little...off...
  9. Well... Eh, I can't think of a comeback for that. You've got me. Debate antics aside, I view romance as more of an emotion than a species' need to reproduce. A lot of other people, Greg included, don't see it the same way that I do. Since I happen to be at the end of the issue that isn't represented in the story, I just bank on my headcanons. That's one of the benefits of being in a fanbase that follows a story. If you don't like something, you can just treat it as if it were different. Yeah, romance is definitely for focused on emotions/feelings. Simple gestures, just spending time together, and other things like that are definitely more romantic, especially in stories. This is another good way of looking at it. So...I know this is more a Gen 1 topic/debate, but do you think we'll get any character relationships in gen 2? Do ya'll want them? I don't think we'll get them, but I personally kind of do want them. It'll be something different for the line.
  10. I agree with the technic parts. I do think the sets could benefit from being a little more complex at times (not all of them need to be, but at least one challenging one would be fun). The bulk...I don't think the 3 smaller toa are that bulky. Gali is probably the bulkiest of those 3. The larger toa...Onua makes sense to be that large, just saying. Kopaka and Tahu, you may have a point for those 2
  11. I haven't bothered looking for the summer sets yet. I bought a second Onua, MoE for MoCing parts.
  12. I was looking through your interests and it seems we have a bit in common when it comes to musical taste :)

Oh, but I see you also like The legend of Korra. Great show, A:TLA was better imo, but still great nonetheless.

Yeah. I like both shows though. Very different from the typical Nickelodeon cartoons

If you dig Symphony X, you'll certainly like Allen/Lande and Star one as well. The first is a project consisting of great singers Jorn Lande and, of course, SX's Russell Allen; the latter is a supergroup led by Arjen Lucassen including Allen and Floor Jansens and other great vocalists. Both dwell in the prog metal area with plenty of other influences.

  13. As Millennium said, it's kind of like a Bohrok Va. I really dig it, especially the foot design and the sheer detail of the staff! I also just like the way it looks, the gear on the back was a nice touch, even if it isn't functional.
  14. I haven't noticed that to be honest. From what I've seen most people seem to either not care about them or like the sets. Yeah, I haven't seen anything super negative about the new Bionicles or anything like that.
  15. Oh... its a song? I didn't know that. It's not just a song, it's a good song: In the Dragon's Den- Symphony X. Check it out Location 1.5/5 (I chuckled when I read it haha) .5 for biking yet again Percy Jackson gets a 1 again You have earned a 3/5 Nice job!
  16. Dragons Den: +1 (thats a good song by Symphony X) Percy Jackson +1 Biking +.5 Halo -.5 2/5
  17. Finished The Lost Hero, The Son of Neptune, and Mark of Athena. Just started House of Hades
  18. I like it. It's honestly kind of cute I'd be very interested in seeing a full sized homage to the original Pohatu. Nice job!
  19. cars...-1. "Things I've never heard of?" Try me 2.5/5 -1 = 1.5/5 + try me xD
  20. I had heard of BZPower all the way back in '04 when I was heavily into Bionicle, but I didn't join until last year. I like it. The community is overall very friendly, with few exceptions (but yes, I've seen a few conflicts every now and again). Welcome back, enjoy your stay!
