  1. Well, gravity fits that color scheme. Also, according to BS01, Toa of Gravity can make black holes. I don't know yet. Attitude wise, I'm more of an air or water kind of person. But Purple and Gold are very good colors. Dark water? Maybe a slightly shadow infected male water toa? I don't know yet. I need to actually sit down and build the MoC.
  2. I never had a problem with the Nuva masks. I actually got into Bionicle in '04 so I actually saw the Nuva masks before the originals and I never thought they looked bad. Of the lot, my favorite is the Pakari Nuva. I don't know why I like it, but I do; I feel that it suits Onua's personality. I will agree that the Kaukau Nuva is pretty bad. It's definitely my least favorite of the bunch. I just don't like the shape of it or the expression on the face.
  3. I'll probably start making a self MoC soon. I don't know what element I'll be just yet, but no matter what element I am, I'm going to be mainly purple and gold because it's a great color scheme
  4. The first picture brings out a really unique look in the face. I really like the way the head looks. The weapon is pretty cool too. The overall detail is amazing and the hands are fantastic. The overall color scheme could have a little more black for contrast I feel. It's just a little too monochromatic in my opinion. Overall nice job though!
  5. Thank you! I'm glad you appreciate the details The only detail that I'm not sold on (upon a second glance) is the use of the skeletal torso for it. It's up to you of course, but it just doesn't fit Ekimu in my opinion. It's a minor gripe overall. Still very impressive
  6. Some weird comic book character I should recognize...but don't...
  7. I really like the shape of the shoulders. The trans-light blue hooks stemming from the back add a regal, almost angelic aura to him (makes sense). I also love the design of his leg armor and your interpretation of his hammer. Once again, you impress me.
  8. I'd probably live on the border of Ko-Wahi and Le-Wahi on Mata Nui. I'd like to be able to travel between the two regions because I like both of them. I'd like the jungle because warmth and then the snowy wilderness would be fun to explore/go skiing in.
  9. I love the custom torso design! It looks solid even without armor on (but of course it looks better with the armor). I also like the way the back looks with the HF shield piece used to cover it up. Overall, very good job! The hands are very reminiscent of Axonn, but that's not a bad thing
  10. I decided to change it to my College's mascot. Tigers aren't my favorite animals, but they are my favorite big cat.
  11. I think the gold fading to silver would've been a great idea. Or just solid gold. I feel like the're overdoing the blended masks off the bat for the year. They were cool in rarities for 2015, but for all of the Toa masks to be blended. I need to see the sets in hand before I actually judge it. In the photos, I like the silver/primary fade, but the gold just doesn't sit well with me. I just hope that 1. it looks better in person and 2. there is a logical story explanation for it.
  12. I think the silver on the regular masks is a nice throwback to the Nuva Story arc (not to mention the Nuva symbols themselves), but on the gold masks, I feel that the transparent colors are there just to be there. The blended gold masks that came with the skull villains had purpose; the villains stole the masks and drained the power. The blended gold masks with the new toa...we don't know the purpose just yet, but I still just can't help but question the choice to do it.
  13. Masks of Power- check Toa- check Makuta- check Villagers- check Lego- check What more do you need? (Matoran=villagers, so no we aren't missing that).
  14. I forgot to mention this as well. I would've loved to have all 6 Toa Hagah. I bet the mask designs would've been really interesting.
  15. So what am I into? The short version: I like music with huge melodic hooks/melodies and driving/solid beats. The long version: I LOVE the 2 most hated things in all of music: 80's music and Metal music. Why? I love 80's music because it's just pure fun. 80's rock bands such as Journey, Def Leppard, Genesis, Asia, and many more bands who made songs that I just enjoy listening to more than anything else. I don't care if 80's is frowned upon now; I think it's good music. I know that a lot of people here like metal, but overall it's not a widely accepted thing among my every day friends. I'm into power/progressive metal such as Evergrey, Vanishing Point, Symphony X & Stratovarius, Alternative Metal such as Sevendust, Breaking Benjamin, and Disturbed, and Melodic Death Metal bands such as Mercenary, The Unguided and In Flames. I don't mind growls in my music, but I'm beginning to feel like that was more of a phase for me in my high school years because I just don't get the same enjoyment out of hearing growls in the music (save for bands such as The Unguided, Mercenary & Trivium) that I used to. I like other genres such as pop and I also like rock music from any time period after the 60's, but 80's and metal are just the 2 things I love the most in music.
  16. Picked up Confident by Demi Lovato, Def Leppard by Def Leppard, On Through the Night by Def Leppard, One of the Boys by Katy Perry and Dark Before Dawn by Breaking Benjamin.
  17. I love the color scheme! It's perfect! The weapons are pretty sick as well. The arms look kind of like roots as well which I find very cool! Very nice job!
  18. Pyromania- Def Leppard. It's an alright album, but Photograph and Stagefright are some amazing songs!
  19. I love that it can still fold up into a ball. If it couldn't do that, it wouldn't be valid. Very nice job
