  1. Oh yeah, I’ve seen this before somewhere. I didn’t realize it was actually printed and shipped in a German catalog , though. If I remember correctly, speculation at the time was that this was concept art for the actual combo model. If you look closely, you can see that the combo uses two of the trans-purple skull villain torso armors despite Quake Beast only including one. It kinda looks like they took Umarak and slapped parts of the beasts onto him. Quake Beast’s arm as a stinger, Storm Beast’s tail as a tail, Storm Beast’s hands as knee-guards, Lava Beast’s mask as a crown, Lava Beast’s blades as wings, etc.
  2. This is amazing! I love how you wanted to continue the tradition of a 2 or 3 set big combo model for each year. It looks like it would fit in with the Mahri Nui aesthetic perfectly! Well done!
  3. According to the BioMediaProject, if you click the masks of the Matoran in the background from right to left, they will hold up the signs. I tried this yesterday, and it does happen. If you want to see it, you don’t have to wait and hope, you can trigger it manually.
  4. What the heck? What does this even mean? Nice find, Derek.
  5. Looks pretty exciting! I’m a big fan of some of the summer sets too, so I can’t wait to see the story unfold!
  6. I personally loved the Hero Factory FM program from 2010. It was hilarious and definitely warmed me up to the theme. Some sets I have the best memories from are: William Furno (my first HF set) Stormer 2.0 (first CCBS set and found at LEGOLAND California in Dec. 2009) Breakout Evo Furno XL Brain Attack Stormer Stormer Freeze Machine Rocka Crawler Bulk Drill Machine Personally, I’m glad that BIONICLE and Hero Factory are kept in separate continuities. I like to enjoy both without having to worry about events overlapping. I do wish we could’ve found out what Christian Faber was going to tell us a few years ago about the original plan of HF and how the story bible was very complex and detailed. IIRC, there was something about how the true protagonist of HF (the theme) wouldn’t be from HF (the organization).
  7. Oh wow, this is a great find! Glad to see it in super high quality!
  8. Your desktop looks sweet! For the past 2 years, I’ve had Okoto as my desktop background on my laptop.
  9. Some of these are really awesome! Thanks for sharing the link.
  10. Haha, that’s awesome!
  11. Should be fun! I’ll try to tune in.
  12. I'm sad to see these results, but I'm not too surprised. I would've loved to see Sokoda's diorama on shelves, but I can see why LEGO would decide to not approve it. I am disappointed, though...
  13. This is awesome! What piece did you use for the eyes?
  14. Yet another fantastic article! I find the original roles of the Turaga more intriguing than what we got in Mask of Light and on, but I still love the Turaga. I bet the fact that the G2 Protectors resemble the original Turaga roles was a deliberate decision. I can’t wait for the next article!
  15. Awesome resources! I am still quite intrigued by the Quest for the Masks depiction of the Toa. They seem more like mythical, god-like figures that embody the elements than the Toa we’ve come to know over the years.
  16. Sad to hear this, but I’m not surprised. Looking forward to seeing everyone at BFVA 2021!
  17. There are some new features that are pretty cool here, but I can’t help but feel this is a step down from the EV3. The force sensor, 6 I/o ports, and built in gyro are cool though.
  18. My entry for the Subscriber Badges can be found at this topic: http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/29264-hau-vahi-and-hapori-tohu-subscriber-badges/
  19. Here is my series of entries for the Bling Out the BZPower Twitch Channel contest in the subscriber badge category. I created each of these images using Procreate. Each image is 112 x 112 pixels.
  20. Whoa, this is a fascinating find! I wonder what other sets got this treatment.
  21. This sounds pretty cool! I don't see any mention of what time the tour would take place at on the days listed. I could be looking in the wrong spot, of course.
