  1. No. Not 'any birthday cakes', just those I'm supposed to eat. Do you think the term "grammar nazi" is offensive to Jews?
  2. Wait, I just remembered that there are books out there for G2 - does anyone have them, and do they shed light on this?
  3. It's in the first post. My entire theory was based around the fact that we don't know the location of the Mask, and Slicer is wearing some nameless item, and the Lord of Skull Spiders was guarding an empty pedestal while the GMoSS was nowhere to be found. Goshdarnit this is why I need to stop commenting on threads when it's almost midnight.
  4. Yes. We need to rid Bionicle of the gender inequality once and for all, and G2 is the place to start. Is batman overrated?
  5. Vezon. He got annoying really quickly. ... If the descriptions of the Matoro-outcry of '07 here are accurate (I wasn't here then) I think I may have to agree with them. As said by Fisher, Matoro could've been made out to be far more sympathetic before his death. And I do respect him, don't get me wrong, but if the fandom really treats him that way he sure qualifies as overrated.
  6. I think I'm an inverse of the norm - I used to give them voices (so, no, I didn't talk to them in the past) but I do currently sass at MOCs that refuse to work out and swear at my boxes of Bionicle pieces. That probably counts as talking to them.
  7. You get pizza, alright - unfortunately, it's soggy pizza from the trash and is crawling with enough maggots to make a buzzard throw up. I wish I had a Pohatu G2 set right now.
  8. No. I'm workin' for my pass so I can get to Year Five like a good little student. Is Gali having a male voice in G2 weird to you?
  9. I think this is a pretty cool hypothesis, but I lean towards the idea that Makuta and Ekimu's color schemes don't display elemental affiliations, but are just, you know, there. Kind of like how Brutaka in G1 is blue and gold but isn't a Psionics gal, or how Pridak was white but not affiliated with the element of Ice in any way. I also really dig the colored skin theory. It makes them seem cooler somehow :^)
  10. I did some research while waiting for your post, and found the exact same style of spires in another episode: The Arena. There are spires just like those on the bridge decorating the entrance to the arena, so it's not impossible for the MoC to have been somewhere else. In some shots of the city from the air, more of the spires can be glimpsed on another building in the center of the city. Therefore, I'm still not convinced, partly because that doesn't answer the question of "Where is the Skull Spider Mask?" I think IX had a point earlier, by the way. We should all cool it and please not use antagonistic language if we don't have to. :^) In any case, I see no reason for us to assume that the pedestals in IXRollout's screenshots aren't the same location - Occam's razor. They look pretty similar, excusing the whole "cultural architecture" thing. But we're all guessing here, so... As for the question, I'm a little confused. When did the question "Where is the Skull Spider Mask" pop up in this thread? I've reread this three times and can't seem to find it mentioned anywhere. .___.
  11. I've just finished watching all the episodes, and I kind of hope they expand on Okoto a little more. The original bionicle seemed to pay more attention to the villagers and their culture than this - granted, I haven't managed to get hold of any of the books, and yes, the clips are clips and therefore really short, but it sort of feels like too much is being glossed over.
  12. I agree with this - to the OP, I fail to see how their body sizes make them more suited to what you're suggesting they control.
  13. WHY DOES LEWA ALWAYS LOSE HIS MASK

    1. McNugget

      McNugget

BECAUSE ONUA FORGOT TO GRAB HIS ATTENTION

    2. Ghidora131

      Ghidora131

AND BECAUSE HE GOES WHERE HE WANTS TO, FREEZE BRAIN

  14. A... really bitter blue guy? Thanks, but I'll take that advice with a pinch of salt. It isn't like joining it's gonna ruin my life :^) ... Right?
  15. ... Yes? No? I don't know? I haven't had a chance to lay my hands on it, so I'll pass no judgement. Do you think Poison Ivy (the batman villain) rocks?
  16. Okay? Then out of curiosity, what did you mean by the last bit in the previous post about "has to be rock"? Oops. I forgot to add, "looks like it has to involve the manipulation of stone". The point is, I don't think Toa of Earth have been shown to do anything that looks as though it requires the manipulation of stone other than earthquake-causing (the method of which they use we have already determined as soil manipulation). I don't recall seeing any media where the Toa of Earth in any team controls stone. Also, minor detail - Earthbenders in Avatar control both what bionicle considers rock and earth. But the gist of what you mean does make sense, in that Toa of Earth basically move soil to generate tremors and the like.
  17. A disgruntled Ehrye who's undergone cosmetic surgery and taken to wearing hats?
  18. Not by any human definition of the word, no. Do you ever feel like you were meant to do something extraordinary? Okay, no, just kidding. Do you watch the NBC series Heroes (and by association Heroes Reborn, which came out this month?)
  19. Yeah, sort of. I've watched all the movies and read up on bits of the mythos I liked. I'm halfway through the books and trying to drag myself to complete them because I'm a book polygamist. Do you like the, uh, Heck-boy franchise? (My icon's franchise, basically. And I can't say the H-word here, it seems.)
  20. Granted. It's as big as Life itself, meaning that it is the size of every living being's lifespan put together and is thus extradimensional. You can't put it on. I wish I could sleep whenever I wanted to without bad consequences cropping up.
  21. Technically, maybe. Including the fact that plasmoids are little bits of plasma wrapped in magnetic fields, if I'm not remembering things wrong, I'm sure they would be able to. ... But Bionicle physics, which states that ice is a conductor of electricity, would probably nullify this. Couldn't impure ice theoretically be a conductor? That's impure water you're thinking of. Water conducts electricity when impure because ions are present in it, and can allow electrons to flow through it (sorta). In the case of impure ice, no ions are formed because the ice is, well, solid. And salts can't really dissolve in solids to form ions.
  22. Incredible. Heh, Bones, I did get that point - I have been reading this thread, after all. Anyway, @Lalonde, I don't really see the issue with that explanation. It works with how the Toa's powers work in canon.
  23. Depends. Some are really good, but most remixes just suck the soul out of the song. :^( I was just listening to X Ambassadors on Spotify while rushing my piece and THERE WERE SO MANY REMIXES OF thIS ONE SONG I AM APOPLEPTIC WITH RAGE *clears throat* Anyway, have you ever gathered a backlog of over a thousand messages on any messaging service?
  24. Granted. You build one so good that you win any match you play in and as a result are ostracised by the MtG community, who mutter evilly at your approach and throw Vegemite sandwiches at you when you win. I wish for every collection ever. Edit: so my icon's name is a forbidden word. I wish for every Mignolaverse comic ever.
