  1. Well, Makuta certainly isn't in exile or regretting what he did. Kulta was actively receiving orders from him. In fact, I think Makuta is the one who awakened the dead skull villains in the first place. All of this was done to destroy his brother's mask of creation. Sorry to tear down half your theory. Its not personal. The fandom just can't ignore the facts in the story, that's all.
  2. What if this employee was just trolling a fandom . . . a very small fandom that is ultimately not Lego's target group. He could get away with it because the higher ups at that company probably don't watch TTV or go on message boards. This employee is "under the radar." I'm sure Lego cares about us, but they are focusing on young newcomers a whole lot more. On a side note, if the vahi is half of a mask, it should fuse with a mask of space, TO FORM THE MASK OF SPACETIME!!! ALLOWING THE USER TO WARP REALITY!!! IT WOULD BE KNOWN AS THE MASK OF . . . BENNY!!! SPACETIME!!! SPACETIME!!! SPACETIME!!! SPACETIME!!! Edit: Or maybe this employee had little to no idea what he was talking about. I don't think anyone on the current Bionicle team was previously a fan who knew the lore through and through. He probably only studied G1 minimally for that event he gave the interview in.
  3. If the toa come from space, does that make them Aliens? I don't think Lego would go with this direction. Maybe they are Godlike figures? Maybe Lego will go in the direction of Marvel's Thor, where there are several Realms. If they come from space, are they even the same species as the protectors?
  4. Lhikan (and the Toa Mangaia). Even though Lhikan isn't obscure, I always wanted to know more and more about this character, and what his personal adventures and challenges were.
  5. A group of con men go to a faraway tropical land looking for a magical treasure. They fool the natives there into thinking they are divine heroes. The Piraka or Miguel and Tulio? (Tulio and Miguel, mighty and powerful gods!)
  6. Two heroes gifted with powers fight for good in their universe. One of them is seduced by dark forces and his body is horribly altered. Lhikan/Nidhiki Obi-Wan/Anakin
  7. God gets brain cancer Magic drugs fall from the sky and then it gets weird
  8. Tahu . . . THE MASTAH OF FIYAAAAAAAAAAH! Tahu Nuva was my first toa ever, and my third set overall, so I had to start with Tahu '15 for the new generation of sets.
  9. T1 shadow: The artisan is right about Inika meaning "the energies of a star." In Bionicle Legends #3 on pages 49-50, Garan tells the Toa Inika they don't look like Toa Nuva. After Jaller answers they weren't Nuva, Farshtey writes, "He [Jaller] thought about the lightning bolts that had unleashed their powers, the glow of their faces behind their masks, the way their weapons radiated energy. Then he said, 'No, not Toa Nuva. Toa Inika.' The name caught the other Toa by surprise, but it made sense - inika was the Matoran word for 'the energies of a star.'" tl;dr Jaller picked the name for the team because of the meaning of the word. P.S. Somebody please remind me what "Nuva" and "Hordika" mean.
  10. Buzz saws can definitely be used to slice thru large slabs of stone. Having tools to slice through stone is something all tribes could benefit from, especially for cutting out bricks for large stone structures, like the temple of time, the Mask Making forge, and each villages' own buildings.
  11. Idk man. I feel like buzz saws would still be common to some of the other tribes.
  12. That could be. I was thinking it was another one of his mask making tools. Since he is basically a metal smith, he might use the buzz saw to cut out sheets of metal into shapes which he would "fold" into masks by using his HAMMAH UV POWAH. Idk why you would stick a rotary canon on something you use to smash metal with tho, it doesn't seem like the safest thing to do. Makuta probably realized Okoto was in the hands of a lunatic who ruled with a minigun on a stick. His one man revolution was completely called for. Anyway, if the buzz saw was a symbol of the ice tribe, and if Ekimu was showing his icy heritage/culture with the saw, wouldn't Ekimu's saw also be trans-blue? Trans blue saws are most likely unique to the Ice clan on Okoto, while silver buzz saws are common to everyone else. It's likely at least some of the other tribes have saws, especially the jungle tribe for all the thick foliage they have to cut thru. To distinguish itself as a symbol of the ice-tribe, their buzz saws would have to be trans-blue.
  13. Well . . . I wouldn't go so far as to say it RUINS the story. It's just fun to speculate and theorize, and sometimes those speculations turn out to be right. Maybe Ekimu does have a set element, or maybe doesn't. Who knows.
  14. Maybe Ekimu's element simply is creation. Perhaps the mask of creation simply allows him to unlock those powers, much like the G2 Toa need their elemental masks to unlock their powers.
  15. Its totally cool man. It happens to the best of us.
