Should Bionicle and Ninjago have a crossover?
(-Kopaka Toa of Ice-) replied to Lenny7092's topic in Ninjago Discussion
Big No. Bionicle may be another lego theme but it should not be mixed into ninja theme at all. Not ever. Ninjago has already has had Zane as a cyborg with a constantly changing android/cyborg designs. -
why is the laser lance a lance?

Hey Umbra is already known as a bad set. Toys don't have feelings -
why is the laser lance a lance?

First off we can see they used Hewkii's axe, and Longsword and a Rhotuka Spinner. But they didn't have a proper name. Ironically enough, 2 years later Takanuva the Toa of Light gets a new toy but because of Umbra, his weapon had to be called Power Lance since the name other name was taken. Umbra shouldn't have been made. https://biosector01.com/wiki/Power_Lance -
Not designed as a detailed model. This is designed to show what Lego could have produced if the Tahu Mistika had the 2002 colors of orange and bright red. I also added a tiny companion of a non-mutated Radiak but without 4 weapons. I also recolored the Nynrah dart so it would be visible instead of gray. I also do have a preference for the nuva mask on the recolored model. Facing off Front https://brickshelf.com/gallery/Bahrag/Tahu/tahu_mistikas_1.jpg

I don't think graffiti can be classified as someones property. But it's a really neat 3d effect.

How did you even get metru torso and nuva chest plate pieces for the bricklink studio? I've never seen them available in any update? -
What would you have changed?

You're probably not but i can't vouch for any inactive members. -
Most irritating pieces to take apart
(-Kopaka Toa of Ice-) replied to Fry's topic in Bionicle Discussion
The 2001 Toa/Turaga/Nuva/Metru Matoran head by far is a easy winner. I still remember being able to use my whole fingers to pull apart but it hurts a lot. I also wonder if dead batteries in piraka eyestalks are removable, if so they would win over the mata heads. -
Most likely but lego is far from being the only guilty website. Even peeron and bricklink are using the same outdated pre-render. and they still list it correctly as a black. The orange ripcord does seem like it would look great but i guess lego just wanted a specific rule for canisters and the rahaga. Heroes get gray ripcords and Villains get black ripcords for convenience and remind kids who owns the ripcord when dismantling or building. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=8742-1#T=I http://peeron.com/inv/sets/8742-1

I'm gonna be the first to say it in this topic but i would uncanonize Teridax's name. The backlash that writer Greg Farshtey got for revealing the name was undeserved. It was so bad that he decided to never reveal the real name of Dark Hunters leader The Shadowed One because he didn't want to see another disaster. -
why do we call them the toa "mata"?

Haven't heard term spoken in so many years. Now i suddenly feel really nostalgic and old at the ripe age of 33. "Now where did my imaginary walking stick go?" -
Energized protodermis entity?

It needs a unique mask. Otherwise previously released masks just make it look like a vacuum plated set with different parts. Also that chrome is way too bright. -
Bionicle great as star wars

Maybe i didn't count the prologue because the majority was from the online animations that i despised for looking too cheap. -
Bionicle great as star wars
(-Kopaka Toa of Ice-) replied to Deathmournex's topic in Bionicle Discussion
G1 getting more fame is unlikely. Star wars had books to back it up WAY before the movies came out back in 1976. Star Wars was also way more easy to market. G1 could never reach the same fame as star wars. Names weren't easy to remember for kids and lightsabers were easy to play with. G1 did have a few bionicle rides in a few legolands but mostly built statues next to a ride. 2015 Bionicle G2 also tried episodes but lack of commercials meant that the had 4 episodes left as quickly as they appeared on netflix. -
Things could have been better if G1 hadn’t stopped.

That was such a big mess that i've never looked it up despite hearing about it. I'll rewatch the bad American Dad holiday 2 episode dvd specials The Most Adequate Christmas Ever and Rapture's Delight rather than any other franchise christmas specials. -
I'm more glad that they didn't mention Galidor that was a terrible line. But bionicle being treated like a black sheep or redheaded stepchild that "They don't need to mention" was a but insulting. Dishonorable mentions Znap....Lego Technic line made out of girders and modified technic shapes. looks like Knex Jack Stone (really weird figure in those sets)

Not a expert? I won't be blunt but never underestimate yourself Many have started with their creations at some point and with maturity comes experience and skill. Anyways It's a great dragon and the design is well done. Too bad the hordika head doesn't have much room for a moving jaw.

Correct great use. I haven't seen anyone attempt to use it in a decent build based on Samus Aran (metroid games) As for the knight i commend the fact that the different shades of silver blend quite well together. Not easy since lego used many types of silvers during the construction figure years.

The biggest disappointments in Bionicle?
(-Kopaka Toa of Ice-) replied to Lenny7092's topic in Bionicle Discussion
Looks like garbage knock-off piece gimmick. Didn't even know it existed. Fidget spinners wouldn't have any way to be used in the story.
