Those things are shoddy. I bought a weird Rocka set based on breakout. the color scheme was messy, red mask, it had cool military green parts, holes on CCBS parts were square holes. launchers have permanent axles on the shooter. and the ammo belt for the spears. It cracked less than 2 months after owning it. I eventually threw it all out except for the shooter. It was called earth tutelary. it is distinguishable by the sets come prebuilt and the ball joints have terrible compatibility with lego with, either too loose or lego joints are too big and cracks pieces. Beware the Earth Tutelary name, save your money.

It's too much of a gamble. Brickheadz seems to follow a trend of popular franchises that are easy to market. When was bionicle last seen, mid 2016. It's been 5 years ago and too difficult for any kid to recognize while Simpsons, Marvel, DC comics and Star Wars, Minecraft and even Harry Potter easy to market.

I don't mind either of his names but i do refer to him as The Makuta when referencing him.

If Toa combatants aren't needed and tired of fighting. One thing is for certain. I'd want turn into a matoran instead of a turaga. The matoran bodies seem more flexible for everyday tasks.

The piraka masks on the canisters are removable but good luck trying to use them with rubberbands.

I'd say without the even the original 2001 toys as a guideline it would be more difficult trying to imagine what they would look like.

The Matoran word is much better and rolls of the tongue when pronouncing it compared to Tohunga.

maybe a subtle nod to the memory loss when the matoran were sent in those balls from metru nui to mata nui.

There was one mask particularly odd for a misprint. A white kanohi huna in white (turaga vakama) it wasn't widespread and it was rumored to be a white prototype and believed to have been stolen.

Has it been stated if they may have opted for not choosing bionicle out of the three finalists to be adopted. because they had this in their rules. Which means there is a 1/3 chance that Bionicle will not get a set despite being in the top 3 with the most votes.

1- Majority of the storyline got tangled up in unfinished serials, many are now incomplete and GregF is too busy to be allowed to finish them both because of his Lego magazine writer job and no freelance time because of his family. 3- Movies most of the movies weren't that great overall. Kiina had one of the most annoying woohoo voices ever for a serious female fighter. Also leaving out the last part of the Ignika Trilogy and going straight for The Legend Reborn as last film wasn't the best move.Of course the Inika trilogy had a lot of gritty content that could have been too violent for kids. 3- Games: Bionicle the Game was absolutely pitiful. They took random scenes that would be good for 8 levels. Then they randomly created levels for it and treated it like a movie cash-in. The voices used for this were also terrible. IF Bionicle had used voiced games like Lego Star Wars Force Awakened. Finally as sad as it seems Bionicle will very unlikely be not get a Gen 3 version even after it won in the recent Lego Fan Polls. Lego would still be very likely say it's not worth it. Fans also might not like it if it has to be adapted as a brick based theme. It seems that molds like CCBS and other action-figure based molds are too expensive to designed and only gets used for one wave.

If it's really dusty use high pressure settings in your bath or like washing dishes. Large titan sets might need taking apart in sections to really get into the grimy stuff like inside Axonn, Bahrag gears or a toa mata gear box. But don't use a dishwasher machine. The heat for drying might cause plastic warping out of shape. For white sets and noticeably affected suntanned sets turning yellow you need liquid hydrogen peroxide since the problem is deep in the plastic. Plastic yellowing is not outside dirt or dust. Just a heads up hydrogen peroxide is nasty if not handled properly. You need gloves, a ventilated mask safety goggles and a ventilated area.

Honestly everything in G1 got turned into a big mess that it is mindboggling if you don't memorize it. What G2 lacked was a proper story and a someone competent enough to add actual depth instead of rushing it. Bionicle had good marketing since it was so new. What it would really need are basic principles but don't reveal too much of the goal too early like G2 did, they solved everything too early instead of a bigger plot unveiled after G2 Makuta was defeated (Teridax had a insidious cunning mastermind of a plan) Also huge parts of the story were released in books were easily confusing when you considering the ammount of webserials.

Strange why do they keep their statements on the results secret for 9 months?

Indeed it was so heavily focused on mask being a priority with their rookie toa status. Their elemental powers and proper usage of the tools would have greatly helped them with the Vahki police and Nidhiki/Krekka and. Only notable tool usage was Toa Onewa breaking a pillar of protodermis, while earlier Matau was clumsy and crashed into a poster. The elemental power was barely used until they sealed Makuta in the crystal at the end.

I can only see one way if Bionicle should even try using system. They should only try system themes if minifigure bags containing bionicle minifigures are successful. It cheap to make.

Also anything ninja themed seem to be easy to market towards kids these days. including several power ranger incarnations and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are big examples. Still i don't what Lego's big deal is with adding so giant mechs every year.

He just guessed correctly based design. many glatorian like certavus, ackar vastus, beerus and metus have visible mouths. While others like Skralls, Malum Stronius Gresh and Mata Nui wear masks that covered the mouth always. And since Mata Nui is considered a gold colored character then Tuma had a reason for calling it fancy. But he wouldn't have succeeded, after all the Kanohi Ignika has a will of it's own and causes random curses on those who it deems are unworthy and not destined to use it.

I have seen several video types of naysayers videos on youtube claiming balljoints wont be a good option for a anniversary set. I think a low price constraction set rhat doesn't need to be huge would be ideal try to re-awaken interest with advertising. But one thing is for certain. If lego only goes for a system based bionicle set then i'm most likely giving it a pass. Those playsets were mostly only big and overpriced and many of the figures had bad designs including legs that are stuck in a arched shape that cant be posed except waist. Hero Factory Invasion from Below had similar ugly figures with detail crammed into minifigure proportions.

Does this mean bionicle is getting a unique set or it might push a new reboot faster?

Personally i understand if the sets were limited. But i think canister sized sets would leave a bigger impression. I thought lego would already know a lot of fans hated the Av-Matoran builds. Two of the sets have exposed areas. Skrall and Rahkshi had a open joint on the chest and a balljointed neck like a tumor. The Rahkshi was also very limited in articulations even if the 70% had of the parts molds not been in production since 2004-5 era.

I like the customization from the Inika build but the shoulders on the Inika torso (not on the piraka) do often seem seem ridiculously wide. The Piraka torso not many options for putting armor on the chest/back for basic builds. The 5 axle width on the Hordika torso did seem great except the odd gaps and head placement. G2 Does have a its own weakness. the new rubber parts are extremely tight and they broke a white hero factory foot on 2015. It happens if the sets are stiff and mostly posed and left on shelf. Also lack of printed or engraved details on limb shell pieces means they can all look smooth and bland.
