  1. I always envisioned the antidermis melding with Brutaka. So yes he is still Brutaka. But he is part antidermis now and knows what the Makuta had forgotten. Plus is a lot stronger now, too. Remember in '06 he was working with the Piraka for antidermis because it made him stronger to begin with. So maybe eventually the effects would wear off?
  2. It was killing two birds with one stone. He couldn't leave the Ignika in his new body as the countdown would continue. And he couldn't leave Mata Nui in to potentially thwart him. So, he basically downloaded Mata Nui's spirit into the ignika and got rid of both.
  3. I believe this story shows promise. I am very upset that at the moment Mata Nui is gone. Who knows, maybe the two brothers are glorified mask makers and there is still a Great Spirit? But I am excited to see this story play out and I definitely got the vibe from back when BIONICLE first started. I am upset that there is no continuation. But I will not let that stop me from enjoying this story. I see it much like the comics of Marvel and DC. eventually there will be a reboot. And things may change. But the overall premise is still there. That's what I'm hoping for, and right now, that's kind of what it seems. Bonesiii, with this reboot will you be finishing your history of BIONICLE?
  4. I always saw it as the Great Beings' version of water as it appears in different states and seems to be fairly important to the livelihood of their creations that we have seen. It is energized protodermis that spooks me.
  5. You can make the point Mata Nui is terrible because he never made paid attention. But in all honesty, how often do you pay attention to the internal workings of your body unless something happens?
  6. 1. Yes, Matoro knew. That was why he felt so guilty. He was also the one Matoran who knew Mata Nui was dying. 2. It could be an error. It could also be Makuta mentioning something he glimpsed from the future perhaps? 3. I see it as what they imagine what happened. It is like telling stories around a camp fire or other traditional setting. You may not know what the character in your story said or thought, but you know the outcome, and you very well heard their own personal account as well.
  7. I would imagine it took them several trips to get the Matoran from Metru Nui to Mata Nui. He could have looked back on their first trip before the Visorak invaded. But the end of Legends of Metru Nui had a lapse in time to progress from what happened, to how they ended up on Mata Nui. As to why there weren't that many on the beach, I would say because of artistic license. It is why a lot of cartoons have fewer fingers. it costs money to animate everything, and if they can cut a corner with still getting the message across, chances are most companies will do it.
  8. Quisoves Pugnat, it could be because the serials aren't important because it is a reboot.
  9. I really hope it is continuation. The future looks bright, in my opinion. Can't wait!
  10. I was right! It is the mask of Creation. I wonder if that means there will be an Arthaka set this summer?
  11. It developed the same way languages and slang develop in the real world.
  12. At first I was very much against a reboot. But after thinking it over to myself I really wouldn't mind. I mean, comics and movies get rebooted all the time. And sometimes the newer story far exceeds the original. Other times it does fall short. But it would be nice to return to Mata Nui. I loved that island. It was so mysterious. With how they portrayed it in the mini disks from the Toa Canisters to the comics and the MNOG, not to mention the site itself. I am really just happy it is back.
  13. Do you think in the second robot, if the robot existed that is, there would be different primary elements?
  14. Although it is very doubtful, I think it would be interesting if 2015 BIONICLE took place in the new unknown robot.
  15. So a whole other robot could be out there. That could make for a definite twist in the story. I'm a little awestruck at that revelation.
  16. This was tough for me. I mean, 2001 was filled with mystery and intrigue. The Bohrok of 2002 added peril I never really thought possible. 2003 brought in the Toa of Light. 2004 showed us the Time before time. 2005 was the rescue mission that was exciting in concept, but not in practice. I think it should have been a half year story much like the Kal were. But the 2006 story is by far my favorite. Interesting characters, great adventure. It had everything. I think the real question is which year was the worst. If that were the case I would have to say 2005. Or 2010 as it marked the end.
  17. If I remember right, they did serve a purpose but with Spirah's interference it corrupted it. But we never found out why, and again, if I remember right Greg said he had hoped to reveal it in story but never found a way to include it in the story. But again, that is just from memory so not sure. My personal opinion is that they guarded the realms of Karzahni and Metru Nui.
  18. That would be awesome if that was finally the Mask of Creation. Velika managed to go through with his plan, donned the Mask of Creation and is changing everything to how he sees fit. Although doubtful as Greg has mentioned he doesn't want to do a continuation right from where we left off, but that would be an interesting story.
  19. I don't like the idea of a whole reboot. I mean, the huge mystery has already been revealed/solved. You wouldn't be able to re-capture it from a reboot. If they did wake up in a whole new location, they better have a good reason not to remember anything again. The serials and alternate dimensions I never really had a problem with. The only issue I had was the Swamp Strider didn't get as much coverage as I had hoped for, but oh well, I guess. The serials broadened the story and made it more full, I thought. And the alternate dimensions, although sometimes it may have been annoying, it put the characters we know and love in a new light, and in a whole new story, without disrupting the main story. And it didn't get in the way. Sure the story writers could have just had Takanuva transported instantly to Karda Nui, or the only extra dimensional gate be the Zone of Darkness. But the way they did it I don't have a problem with. I am not against your ideas, though. To each their own. But I am saying I would be disappointed if they rebooted the story or changed BIONICLE from how it was.
  20. Tren Krom breaks out and tries to take control of the MU. (Obviously this would be before current story) The excavation of the MU as they take materials out for building a new world/home. I would imagine there are several monsters and problems out there now. The building of New Atero and the enemies that try to stop them. The first team of Toa created for Spherus Magna The Bahrag going crazy and having the Bohrok run a muk on Spherus Magna. The Baterra may intervene there. Artakha arriving on Spherus Magna and confronting the Great Beings. Those are just a handful I have.
  21. What if there is more than one agent? I mean, Atakus was with the Skrall, isolated from the others for a good long while. They were just barely moving south when we reached Bara Magna in the story. I think Velika would choose agori, as he chose to hide in Matoran form as well. It is always the little one you don't expect. So I think it is Atakus and Berix at the very least feeding Velika information.
  22. I personally thought it was because Botar was trying to help the MU inhabitants survive and re-collect themselves. But what Greg said makes a lot more sense.
  23. At first I thought Makuta had too many powers. And then it was revealed there was more than one Makuta. All of them with all those powers. I definitely thought that was overkill. But then they explained why, and we learned about the other Makuta. They had to make rahi. Some more dangerous than others. They had to be able to stop them if any got out of hand. Not to mention the Rahkshi. If they didn't have the powers the Rahkshi could that could be potentially dangerous as well. Then we meet Makuta like Antroz who doesn't like killing the same way twice. And Icarax who likes brute force rather than schemes. Depending on their personality depends on what powers they use. I'm sure each Makuta has a favorite set of powers over others.
  24. I like alternate universes. It gives us new light on familiar characters and shows us what could be if something hadn't happened the way it did in the main story. With that said, I don't like the excessive use of them. I don't think Bionicle hit that limit, but I really hope Vezok can learn to control his new found power soon.
  25. If I remember right all of the Makuta rejected the light, thus becoming evil. Unless you mean the 'good' Makuta as the ones who rejected Teridax's plan. In which case, that is correct.
