MOC name: G-36 "Tahtorak" Cordak artillery weapon.

UnMOCable piece(s): Cordak Blaster: Instead of merely being a weapon you put onto something when you can't think of anything else, it was originally intended as a barrel for a larger Cordak. Of course, you can also say it's a really big compound Cordak, if you wish. I used the connection on these. Also, a Metru torso was used for the inner workings, and Bohrok necks were used on the sides as decorative parts.

MOC bio: The Nynrah Ghosts are a strange people, and in the Paracomos, they have become even stranger. With far more threats, weapon demands have risen, and even the stupidest requests that wouldn't simply doom the Matoran universe (like an elemental fire nuke capable of incinerating entire domes) are granted. One such demand came from a Vortixx salesman who had a Skakdi warlord client on Zakaz who wanted a way to efficiently dispose of the "Nektann" robots that infamous warlord built, and also wanted to look awesome while doing it. So the Vortixx sent to order for a giant Cordak launcher that could deliver huge numbers of rockets at once. The Ghosts complied and generated this device: Tremendous, capable of blasting hundreds of Nektann at once, and obviously cool. However, it took about 5 Skakdi to fire, and while the included Kiril allowed for "healing" lost ammo back in the barrels, the fact was that it was destroyed shortly after in got on Zakaz. The warlord client was too stupid to put in back where artillery tend to be most effective, and as a result it was swarmed, had its Kiril taken as a trophy, and destroyed. The Vortixx salesman, however, had anticipated this and reverse-engineered a very useful blueprint. She now sells them to the highest bidder...including the Paracosmos version of Nektann himself.

Old MOC. I have a newer one that's better and uses an Exo-Force gatling barrel, a Metru torso, AND the opaque part of a Vahki head (only the barrel was used in a fully creative manner, though, albeit the Metru torso was used as a lower torso and not an upper torso. I might be able to take pics of it.)

And would Hahli wings and Piraka feet count as "un-MOC-able?" (Another old MOC, but more recent)

And lastly, would Hagah shields count as un-MOC-able? Just want to get that out of the way.

  2. Ah, yes, HeartGold and SoulSilver versions. Epic soundtrack, epic gameplay, epic graphics compared to even Platinum (barring the Distortion World, the most epic dungeon in the series anyway)...and even a useful and somewhat cool hidden item detector. Not to mention Pokeathelon, a dozen legends to catch (Kyogre/Groudon, Rayquaza, Latias, Latios, Legendary Beasts and Birds, Lugia, Ho-Oh, not counting two potential Dragon Trio members) and the best Safari Zone in the series...oh wait I'm trying to get you OFF it so you can finish this already. Um...dangit I can't think of anything against them. Curses...

Anyways, could I get access to the beta? It seems interesting so far...can you post another screenshot?

    Neya Out. :miru:

Considering you've set the record for longest reply to a Project Terra post, and are the only one to ask so far, I'll say... yes, but with one condition: You'll be getting a different beta from the one I'm going to be sending to a friend here (where I am right now, not BZP). The difference is, due to time constraints, he'll be getting a version that won't have some non-essential bits (battle backgrounds, miscellaneous NPCs, opening title animation, etc.), and you'd get a version that (probably) has those in there, so it will take a bit longer to get it out to you. Also, prepare for the longest first demo of your life.

By the way, I'm training to beat Red right now, so there won't be as much intensity with Pokemon after that (I'm thinking Saturday I'll go and scale Mt. Silver to face him. I don't need to get Moltres since I already have it, so it'll take less time). On the other hand, my Dex is only 1/4 of the way full...

Oh, here's one thing against them: grinding. So... much... grinding... clock... at... 88 hours... and... rising...

Oh, and I've got a screenshot (actually saved on my computer right now), and I'll post it in the next update. I've also prepared for making the chipset to that second dungeon.

On a tangent, I realized that, technically, there are four dungeons in the Demo (depending on how you look at it), but two of them are small,one-map transitional dungeons (one actually leading directly to a larger dungeon, and one that everyone here should find more than a bit familiar). The logic behind calling it three dungeons is that one of the transitional dungeons has a boss at the end. Otherwise, it's literally just a path with some items on the wayside. Oh, I should mention that the early parts of the game approach FF13 levels of linearity. The difference is that Project Terra actually has you change direction every once in a while :P . Also, there are towns in this game.

On that note, I should probably get to bed and stop teasing this thing. I want to be refreshed for my gamemaking class (a.k.a. Astronomy) tomorrow :P .

Edit: Is that banner in your sig... your team? Remind me not to battle you...

Gira is level 52, everyone else is in the 60's. Yep. Currently trying to grind on Gym Rematches and find Ditto so I can get a Synchronizer with a good nature. Occasional Pokeathelon.

And with the aid of my Arcanine's Intimidate, Morbuzakh's (Victreebel's...) Sleep Powder (with a Choice Scarf as a speed booster,) and Vezok's (Feraligatr's...yes I named my entire team barring Steelix [Violet City link trade,] and Arcanine [named for a puppy I have named Marco,] after Bionicles...Gira is named Gorast, Yanmega is named Matau,) I beat the E4 rematch with no pokemon higher than Level 58 at the time, and without forcing any of Lance's team to use Struggle. :P

So your friend gets an "alpha-beta," I get the "beta-beta" after he's revised a few glitches and such. Okay, I can do that, and I have some experience already from Piraka Mania. The XP computer is back up and running, and I should be able to get on it for at least an hour a day...

  5. GIBLE! GIBLE! GIBLE!

It gets awesome typing from the start and evolves into an Uber Pokemon! WAAAAAY better than Trapinch!

However, I still think Trapinch is cool, so I will probably use it if GameFreak ever decides to come out with a Ruby/Sapphire remake.

    Neya Out. :miru:

  6. Would that include me? :P

All of your Pokemon except Vaporeon are NU, so...

    No.

    ~Bunda

Typhlosion is UU, but that's it.

Oh my, look at all of those noobs and their ubers . . . Make you think the game is actually remotely difficult or something.

    ~B~

Hey, my Giratina-O is Level 30, and the rest of my team is in the upper 30's/lower 40's.

Underleveling compensates for power. :P Lance was difficult even with my awesome incarnation of antimatter (Feraligatr and Steelix proved much stronger against the E4), and really this was my experiment into both in-party legendaries and Dragon-types. I always like exploring types I haven't played yet, in HG Steel, Bug, and Dragon. It's fairly obvious from my banner which ones those are.

    Neya Out. :miru:

  7. Okay; so, can you have in the style of yours, as follows?

Gold in the middle(I still call him Gold, even though he has a 'proper name' now.)

    Typhlosion where Meganium is(Right).

    Red Gyarados where Arcanine is(Left).

    Ampharos in the same spot.

A Shiny Pidgeot to the left of Arcanine.

Alakazam to the right of Ampharos

And Golem in place of Raticate.

    =)

    Can I have:

    Gold with:

    Feraligatr (male) where Meganium is

    Yanmega (female) where Arcanine is

    Arcanine (male where Raticate is

Steelix (male) where Togekiss is (but behind everything else if there's overlap)

    Victreebel (male) where Ampharos is

Giratina-O (obviously genderless) where Lapras is

    please?

Granted, I still have to evolve my two stone evolvers (and I'm not doing that until they learn Razor Leaf/Flamethrower [or Crunch, depending on how long it takes to get a Fire Stone],) but all level evolutions are complete, as is the Arceus event.

And don't worry: I intentionally underleveled the Giratina to Level 26, compared to 30-something for the rest of my team. :P

  8. While the descriptor for my entry was somewhat inaccurate (Matoran, even in the revised plot [which still needs to be made more than a vague concept,] are still, in general, pretty much being screwed over by the Brotherhood of Makuta below the island. Meanwhile, Dark Refugees [i'm trying "Dark Outcasts" next time, sounds ten times as good in retrospect,] are Dark Hunters who don't take kindly to future humans trying to start a colony on Aqua Magna.) I still appreciate the effort taken to create this list.

Of course, all of this is subject to change for RPG Contest 18. Come to think of it, three months later, I had better ideas and now 4.5 later, I'm not even DOING that idea anymore.)

BTW, I still haven't gotten my review yet. (And the only reason the banner wasn't in Lloyd's post was because...yeah, I was trying to get it in but I didn't want to trouble Lloyd any more than I had and putting it at the bottom of "Staff" would have been silly. I would have more foresight next time, however.)

  9. Come to think of it, Ebenezer has a point. While it is semi-acceptable as is, the game doesn't seem very...clear. While despite a lack of formatting you essentially have a complete (albeit a tad rag-and-bones) RPG, nothing suggests any backstory connection with Bionicle. Most other entries couldn't have humans be substituted for Matoran without having some SERIOUS backstory or gameplay issues. Yours looks a tad like that could be done faster than you can say "Sonic the Hedgehog." In short...connect this to Bionicle somehow or make the game human-based.

Also: What exactly is stopping me from playing as a 1,000 foot version of the Stay Safe Madu Cabolo Matoran with the ability to hurl EXTREMELY explosive fruit across half the continent without being hurt by it in the rules? You need to point out god-modding isn't allowed.
