  1. Besides the fact that Pohatu's sets are categorized as shades of orange by LEGO (Nuva/Mata - Earth Orange, Phantoka - Bright Orange and Gen2 - Dark Orange), the only thing I could find that suggests Pohatu's always been orange is this post: http://greg.thegreatarchives.com/2008-2010/page274#post10956 But that sounds more like Greg saying that the adaptive armor is orange, not Pohatu himself
  2. "I sure am happy to meet Zaktan every time!" Zaktan
  3. "Why does Dalu have one copy of me in each of her hands?" Sand Fox
  4. "Hey now, I'm just Makuta's pawn. No need to do me like this Toa-bros." Ancient, when he joined OoMN
  5. One thing of note that I would like to add is, Takanuva has access to the Light-based abilities that Av-Matoran could only access when combined with a Toa. So he can now move at the speed of light, create solid light etc., by using his element in ways that Toa of other elements presumably cannot. So while his mastery of his elemental power is more akin to normal Toa than a Toa Nuva, I would probably rank his overall power level slightly above other normal Toa simply based on the extra abilities he possesses.
  6. Xian Weapons! (That's the title of the S&T Contest #4)
  7. "I'm the immortal Great Spirit, protector of Spherus Magna, sworn enemy of the Brotherhood." Orde, to the Zyglaks he was sent to tame
  8. "After that Skakdi fusion thing... I officially announce that Lewa and I are mind-controlled brothers!" Gali, when she received her adaptive armor
  9. "For the last time, Macku! I'd rather drown than to take your swimming lessons!" Hahli, right after she became Toa Inika
  10. Eh. Idk. Maybe a personable villain. That'd be nice too. Morbuzakh is personable. When was the last time you saw a talking, tentacular and possibly cynical plant living in a furnance who abduct people for fun? That, my friend, is genuinely an ingenious and unique vegetation. He's not nearly as personable as a villain should be IMO. (That was all sarcasm, shh!)

  12. Morbuzakh of course. It is a plant and it is a monster. Why esle can you ask for.
  13. At this rate you will have access to the Exo-Toa very soon I only have six Krana-Kal, and I don't even know what type they are because they are somewhere hidden underneath my piles of LEGO lol.
  14. I always wondered about the fate of shadow Matoran/Rahi combination. But anyway, I digress I would doubt that the Ignika would be able to revert Mutran's mutations as the conversion was about pit mutagun, but I guess through mechanical rebuild can revert at least some of them like the claws and teeth?
  15. I think it is just the random pieces of memories of their adventures piror to their slumber, rewinding before slipping into their sub-consciousness.
  16. Superheated? That sounded kinda lame but at least it is news from Greg. :/
  17. Piraka was the best wave IMO. LED eyes, Glow-in-dark teeth, Zamor Launcher and two sided weapons. What esle could you ask for? The only thing that I don't like about that wave is the function-less Matoran and titan sets. Mistika was the worst. The body pieces are way too overused by those waves and the Mistika don't even look good <,<
  18. I cannot view any of the pictures... :/
  19. Voporak might be excellent at tracking the Vahi, but that doesn't mean he is excellent at tracking The Shadowed One; that is Darkness's job
  20. Let me make a list of dead people:1) Matoro 2) The Makuta in general And that's it. Those are the only characters we met that actually dropped dead. Greg has a really bad habit of bringing back dead people, and the Red Star snafu just proves it. There are three ways to die that will ensure that you stay dead: a) Disintegration b) Absorption (by a Makuta's shadow hand.) c) Digestion (if you're eaten, you'll break down into nothing and threre won't be any body left. Basically, if you lose you're body, no revival for you. Let's remember that the Makuta of Stelt and Spiriah were killed by absorption and were confirmed by Greg to be dead permanently, so anyone else who died like that is permanently dead as well. With that in mind, let's fix this list: 1) Matoro 2) The Makuta in general (which equals around 13 named characters and 100 in general) 3) Ancient (disintegrated) 4) Carapar (disintegration) 5) Karzahni- Being (body hasn't vanished yet) 6) Tren Krom (confirmed dead permanently by Greg due to being organic) 7) Decoy Tuyet (body never disappeared) 8) Reysa (eaten by Rahi) 9) Gadunka (eaten by Rahi) 10) Lein 11) Certavus 12) Morbuzakh (disintegrated and also is a plant) 12) Karzahni- Plant 13) Jovan 14) Nivawk 15) Nidhiki 16) Krekka 17) Telluris Possibly still dead: Kodan, Nikila, and Naho (we don't know how they died so we can't be sure) Add the multiple permanent deaths from Alternate Dimensions and you still have a pretty long death list, even with the Red Star, which, if you think about it, only really revived around 5 named characters as far as we know. Also, It's clear from clues and what Greg has said so far that the condition of the revived beings on the star is most definitely not sane or ok, so it's no party. Anyways, I don't think it's past Greg to kill a Toa Nuva, but there better be a reason for it. As for who'd I like to die, no one in particular. Maybe an OoNM member. Let's keep in mind that we are talking about major characters here, so rearranging the list: 1) Matoro 2) The Makuta in general 3) Ancient (disintegrated) 4) Carapar (disintegration) 5) Karzahni (body hasn't vanished yet) 6) Tren Krom (confirmed dead permanently by Greg due to being organic) 7) Certavus 8) Morbuzakh (disintegrated and also is a plant) 9) Karzahni (plant) 10) Jovan 11) Nidhiki 12) Krekka 13) Telluris And even in this list some characters aren't really that major, like Certavus and Carapar.
  21. The overall build is rather conventional... I have no comments on that. The thing that I loved most about this MOC is the weapon. I can see that you put some effort to make the weapon resemble an Assault Rifle, and you captured a few details quite well.
  22. I really like how you used the Inika body without the Inika armor piece; but the Bohrok shield might not work well for several Toa, like Lewa and Kopaka, whose armour looked kinda weird... The weapons are nice looking, very creative builds to incarnate the original tools of the Toa Mata. I look forward to your other creations :^)
  23. 1. What country are you from? Technically, China. 2. What languages do you speak? Chinese. If you are referring to my native tounge. 3. Can you easily buy Lego products in your country? In Hong Kong, yes. 4. Can you still find Bionicle/older Hero Factory sets in your shops? No. 5. How long does it take for the latest Lego sets to reach stores? Depends. Some times it is 3-4 months, some times it is within a week. 6. Do you buy Lego products in shops or online? Which is easier? Depends on my patience. 7. Would you like to see more Lego products available in your country? Don't care, wouldn't mind.
  24. I guess it is the fact that this is the only place where I am comfortable at talking about BIONICLE. (I am too young for "Nostalgia" )

    Talk to Garan

WARNING: If you haven't played VNOG, this wouldn't make any sense to you.Chapter 1: SUDDENLY GARANI sat on the beach of Voya Nui, as I tried to remember what in Mata Nui's name I am doing here. Running errands for Matoran, hunting down the natural wildlife for the Matoran, stealing equipment for the Matoran... I feel like I am losing the last bit of individuality that I dearly still hold to and slowly becoming a puppet of the Matoran. My morals are blurred, as I have slain thousands of enemies with my bare hands under the command of these Matoran, but none of which were truly hostile to me. But isn't it my destony and duty to protect these poor, powerless figures? How does this universe work if I have to sacrifice thousands of lives just to save a few?I am insertnamehere, the protagonist of this story (as I am the writer of this story. This makes sense, doesn't it? [Okay, maybe not, as I had just stated that I've slain thousands...]). So, anyway, as with most stories, my adventures started because of a vision that I had... (or rather, simply because I am forced to adventure. For the Matoran. However, the story must go on or I will waste too much words on the exposition of the story, just like what I did here. [and here as well. (Bracket-ception YAY!)] )"For eons the island of Voya Nui guards an ancient secret." These words were superimposed on to the image of an island in the middle of the cerulean sea."Whatever," I thought. "Skip."And then the vision ended. There were parts that I don't quite remember, but when I woke up, I found myself on the shores of the Island of Voya Nui. I didn't know where I was back then, as I barely regained consciousness at that time.I saw a black-armoured figure on the beach, so I waved my hands at him, intended to ask for directions. This figure was shorter than me, and his dented armour alongside with his sleek profile showed that he had been undergoing some sort of tragedy. He greeted me nonchalantly, but I ignored his cold attitude. After all, a guy like him must be the victim of the story, right? Perhaps it was the tragedies that he had been experiencing that made his attitude cold. To survive in nature, beings usually harden both physically and mentally after getting wounded. But I was wrong. Very wrong indeed. As I said, I tried to ask for directions. But he interjected before I could formulate my enquiries into words and began to question me instead. "Welcome. I am Garan, one of the last free Matoran of Voya Nui. We've been waiting for you a long time, Toa..." he said in monotonic intonations, "but are you truly a Toa hero? I must ask you questions and learn the truth." And this was the beginning of this living nightmare... with talking to Garan.
