  1. Said event didn't happen in the main universe (FYI It happened on Artidax, not Visorak)The Mahri never existed in this universe (Except for Matoro); instead the Metru Turaga were sent to eliminate the remaining Visorak hordes, and they got mutated into Hordika. Again. Except this time there were no Rahaga to save them and they died :XToa Nuva reaching the Cordex.
  2. Did anyone find out what causes the turns to freeze yet?
  3. They can telekinetically make objects not get close to them, with more difficulty with the larger ones, and presumably would not be able to if they didn't see it coming. So in a sense, yes. I doubt it would be an energy shield like Tahu's, but it's possible. I think instead of burning it could indirectly freeze things perhaps, but there's never been confirmation of that as far as I know. It can also physically move things as with the Shadow Hands. It works by draining light that is present.I am pretty sure Makuta used a Shadow blast to burn Keetongu's chestplate in Time Trap.
  4. Bitil, because of he is the most stereotypical Makuta.
  5. I've got a question. What does the elemental Shadow does? So far it seems to be similar to Elemental light in some aspects, like creating solid light/shadow objects, or using them as a beam to burn something. And how does it work exactly?
  6. Or perhaps the Mask of EE isn't a Kanohi at all... Just a thing that you can wear on your face to replenish energies.
  7. Well, they look lighter, anyways. We can't know that for sure, though, no. Here's something else to consider I thought of. The staffs are similar to his original Tool, which was similar to a Kolhii Stick, and he may have felt more confident with those than the lance. A less clumsy shape.I would agree on the less clumsy part, but I disagree on the confidence part. So far he only used the original light staff once for combat, and that was when he fought Makuta (in a Kolhii match... ). After that he moved to Metru Nui which I assume he might have used it to fight off a few Rahi, but it wasn't long before he got captured by the OoMN. In fact, the Power Lance had been used more than the light staff, so if anything he should be more comfortable with the lance than the staffs
  8. Ohh now it reminds me of Krana... Argh, imagine one of those things - or worse, the Kraata-Krana hybird illusion-giving thing - on your face...
  9. Well, we need to keep in mind this was not true in the minds of the story team or Greg at the time, so there would be no reason to see an intentional clue about it there or anywhere else. But mental shielding is possible in Bionicle, which would especially make sense for a GB. Also, Kongu wasn't looking for a hidden GB. Plus, keep in mind that whoever the GB was, the risk of running into some Toa wearing that mask would exist, so he would need a contingency for that regardless of which identity he used. A Dark Hunter would actually be much more likely to run into that power than a humble Matoran, and in a confrontational way.Now that you talk about it, I vaguely remember Velika was once in the chamber where the Antidermis was held. I was gonna ask how Terry didn't notice him being a GB as he still processed his mind reading power despite in gaseous form... I guess Velika just wasn't worth a mind read...But that was close enough. If Makuta or Kongu picked up anything wrong about Velika the story could be a lot different...
  10. The link was to a search, but sure:1) You said in another message that the Kanohi of Elemental Energy is one-use only. So, if someone were to use it, it would fade dark and never be able to be used again, something like that? Or could someone else just pick it up and use it again themselves?1) One-use means one-use, not one-use per person. It's a video game power-up -- if you use it, it's gone, it's not still there for someone else. Can a Toa release Nova Blasts consecutively and indefinitely by releasing a Nova Blast, using the Mask of Elemental Energy to replenish his elemental energies, then releasing another Nova Blast, then using the mask again, and so on?No, for two reasons. One, the MEE is a one-use mask. And two, it is a power up but it doesn't make you go from zero to full power.Sure: The two post links are here and here. Basically, researching the Greg Discussion/Quotes topics shows he approved it as a favor to the game designers and that it is a one-use Kanohi. Doesn't quite fit with the one story usage, but that's what he described it as.-TN05If it isn't rare or anything, a Toa could easily gather a stack of these in his Suva and get a huge backup source of EE. So it isn't really that useless...
  11. I completely agree i was really mad at velika being the GB. i really wish it was some villian i mean what better way than to have someone who is supposedly evil be the great being heck even a mysterious villian like Darkness. someone who is associated with evil but has many secrets. and also someone brought up the fact that kongu had was within range of velika and yet never picked up on anything, and another good question what happened to velika original great being body? i mean if he could transfer his soul/mind into another body then maybe he had his original body hidden somewhere for his eventual return so he could regain all his original powers. i think this because how else could he as a matoran take out tren krom. The problem is that the GB is an observer - he didn't wanna disrupt the operations of the universe. So he couldn't be a villian
  12. I've been waiting for someone to bring this up. Entering a battle with it would limit his melee options, plus once you fire four shots, it's not going to recharge fast enough to be of any help.fishers is right that he didn't make the switch knowing he'd enter a battle though, but the way life in TerryMak's world was described it was much like a constant risk of battle. Mobility may mean life or death even more so there since he controlled the very environment. So heavy and clunky are not good matches for it.Well, Idk why you guys keep saying that the Twin Light Staffs aren't heavy weapons, especially when they have the length of Takanuva's legs :PBTW, I wonder the Nynrah Ghosts in this main universe have made the same weapon. It would be awesome to see someone esle of other elements to use it...
  13. I also wonder why did he not keep his Blaster, considering that his is just the same size of other Toa's, and the other Toa seemed to have no trouble carrying those around. Having a secondary weapon that can shoot light blasts without wasting his elemental energy reserve or to channel his own EP is useful.
  14. Hey, but where did he abandon it? If it is really that huge, there wouldn't be a place large enough to conceal it...
  15. But still,"Let's abandon a weapon that can amplify power beams and a powerful blaster in an easily accessible crate while taking these average Twin Light Staffs against these hordes of zombies Rahkshi!"That seems rather ... unreasonable
  16. I enjoy the current traffic, but I sure do miss the old days when new sets/content came out and everyone complained about them. That was so much fun
  17. I think the Mask of Undeath would be probably more useful if there were more Takutanuva... :PBasically it is a mask that decreases you chance of survival (by draining your life force) and creates a posthumous, but less capable version of yourself after you're dead... But then since it is emotionless, a plus side to this mask power is that if there's something you need to accomplish but don't wanna witness, you can die and let your corpse finish it :/
  18. Regarding number 6, I guess you were referring to Jaller calling Hahli "the barbarian"It is simply because Hahli wanted to mess with the Barraki, not that she is really that aggressive.
  19. I have the PC version and I always get Out of Bounds glitches so I gave up on getting 100%... I am close though, just lacking the LEGO pieces related achievement and the super expensive cansister locator...
  20. Iron or Magnetism. I would break my computer accidentially if I had such power
  21. Well the Kakama allows the user to have a slower perception of time, so I guess it should also provide temporary ear protection or something or esle...
  22. Woah! This is a very pleasant surprise. I have long considered Spybotics: The Nightfall Incident to be one of the best games ever released on lego.com, and until now I assumed it was lost forever after the site was purged of all its old games. It's great to see it's still around and kicking; I'll have to go and play it again sometime. This version is a bit crippled tho'. Only 1 battle music and enemy turns would always freeze... also sometimes the game skips your turn...But overall it is still playable
