  1. well, i'm excited, and i'm always in the mood to catch 'em all collect bionicles! however, as i got older, i did see a pattern forming. wheras i had a buncha the guys from 2006-2007, i only had krika, gavla, tanma from 2008. and by 2009, only zesk and stronius. after that. i didn't really purchase LEGO products outside of the occasional $5.00 creator set. so, bionicle returning? mata returning? who knows. but since i've missed every post 2010 wave of HF, i have an ill feeling i won't be able to scrounge up enough cash to even get one of th smaller guys this time around. (you can just hear my sad violin right now.)
  2. then i have succeeded in my goal! :U (also, good to hear, i was trying to evoke the feeling of what a PLUMBERNAUT would actually be, y'know?)
  3. well mata nui, this is a pinch. :0 i guess if it can qualify as a comic, i could enter it as a comic, which leaves me a free space to enter general art with a different one, yes?
  4. quick question regarding catagorization(but is also relevant to contest entry ideas.) Single scene but has character dialogue: is it general art? or a one-panel comic, thus comics? :0
  5. the final model for this three-tribe project... Plumbernaut Max! (finally)
  6. thanks! (posing is important to displaying a model after all!) also, just a heads-up, there's a pterosaur counterpart that i'll be fixing up and should be expected here soon!
  7. Becoming a more active regular member of BZP again like: "Whoah, what? this feels awkward."

  8. hmm, macku is kinda, how do i say it, lanky? idk. :0 can't really say anything bad about hewkii, since that wasn't a color LEGO was too fond of using at all, so. y'know, limited parts. i guess i'll settle for "these are pretty neat and inventive! :U"
  9. ehhh, initially i was kinda "what?" about it, but tbh, the "skeleton motor punks from the underworld" thing kinda really worked the first wave, then i went ehhh again when the ninja themselves started getting vehicles. (since a ninja is, idk, inherantly stealthy?) but as of now, ninjago vehicles and stuff are really some of the neatest lego's ever produced! (also i'm a HUGE fan of odd juxtaposition, so i was biased from the start, oops.)
  10. ^clickthrough to fullsize^ okay, so. browsing my LDD files, just messing around w/ stuff, updating some things i could do better. for instance, this vague-asaur here was (as some might recall) originally this design, and, while this is less of a new creation, and more of an edit of an old one. the originla hasn't been posted on the new forum anyway, so. whatcha' think?
  11. noooo! the mixels eyes make it even cuter! the crab is now painful to look at without sunglasses! O:
  12. it's too sharp and angular, looks more befitting an HF helmet. (i don't mind the eye thing so much as the jawline thing though.) it also just doesn't feel like a kaukau, which is basically its main purpose, so...
  13. I came into this tihng too late for collectables (the interesting ones anyway) so i'm 100% all for bringing back mask packs (even if they don't have much playability on their own, oh well.) although, i'd only be totally satisfied if the new kanohi masks are pleasant enough in design. :u
  14. oh no, that crab is too cute! it captures the look of 2001 ussal crab, but is so much more articulate, and the pincer design is just clever! (also, i'm a sucker for anything with purple highlights, oops.)
  15. that's just what i was going to do, yeah! or, what i did, Snang is fixed, with a still rather high 73 pieces. (i couldn't remove any more.) the Branch Bunch MAX has also been added! (the old snang can be seen by putting "old" at the end of the current snang's filename.)
  16. snang is yeah, defs too big, i'm trying to reduce that piece count (simplifiyng the feet for starters,) stomph is almost 60 pieces. so, while small in form, is within piece range, i think. :0 (i should also remember to make that Branch Bunch max sometime soon, haha. )
  17. It's great to hear Doon is well recieved, since Doon is actually my own personal favorite! c: also... Branch Bunch and Plumbernauts have been added, as promised!
  18. thanks! (<i lack a better thank you at this moment, blah.) also, A hero factory thing i'm trying to write but drawing is just sooooo much easier, blargh. lots of spikey red crystals, glowing red goop, and a bunch of angry-looking robots! EDIT: But wait, there's more! EDIT2: more! :U EDIT3: I should really make a model sheet for her because these are all waaaay off. (also, i think i will end up drawing it instead of writing it, hmmm...)
  19. Series 1 (you're on it) Series 2 Series 3 SQURMISITES The squishy Squrmisites love to lend a hand-or-similar-appendage to a friend in need. that is, when they aren't busy rolling in dirt or eating dead leaves in the rotting gardens they call home. Planar 46 Pieces Even more willing to help than most Squirmisites, Planar may even try to help when you don't need any! But if you do, a body flatter than most mixels helps with those tight pinches! Doon 54 pieces The armor covered leader of the Squrmisites is always in the mood for a friendly greeting, though you might not want to shake hands with Doon's sharp tail claw. Sqeem 50 pieces Full of energy and almost never standing still, Squeem is nearly always tied in a slipper knot! Lacking any actual hands, Sqeem's long tongue makes a sutible substitute. Squirmisite MAX PLUMBERNAUTS The Plumbernauts are always trying to fix things, but their repairwork usually leaves it spewing water everywhere. (even if it didn't have any water in it to begin with.) They are always eager to explore, and have charted many parts of the underground sewers the live in. Schnozet 49 pieces The Slow-moving Leader of the Plumbernauts is very smart, but not well-liked by many other mixels. the constant drippy nose doesn't help much. Drizz 72 pieces A shy and easily scared Mixel, Drizz is often found hiding away from every loud noise, even the sounds of the other Plumbernauts working. Floosh 64 pieces This high-pressure mixel is the Plumbernauts best defens against nixels. Floosh's arms are always ready to release masive bursts of water. great for defense, but not so fun at a party. Plumbernaut MAX BRANCH BUNCH A mixel tribe with a strong sense of order and safety, the Branch Bunch make and enforce a lot of weird rules for other mixels that walk into their forest. other mixels find them to be a bit stiff. Sequi 66 pieces Thinking itself taller than others around, Sequi is actually very short. don't say that around this mixel though, because a short temper and a pointy head are a painful mix. Snang 73 pieces The tallest and strongest, Snang can easily lift fallen logs and boulders, clearing a pat for smaller mixels. Though imposing in appearance, this mixel is actually quite gentle. Stomph 58 pieces Everything's a joke to Stomph, a very funny one at that! If something's funny enough, Stomph will laugh and stomp up and down on three heavy feet. Branch Bunch MAX
  20. according to art-forum rules and stuff, i get one revivable topic to collect up all my art in. and, well, since i only put my art in here anyway, this is basically that one topic. (i also asked head-of-art-forum-person, who okay-ed the decision. :u) reason i am posting i here is that i drew more bionicle. (because i wouldn't post in here otherwise. :0) Dalu (in color!) Okay, not bionicle, sorry. this one isn't either, oops i really need to pick up the pace with drawing again, and stop acting like i have anything better to do.
  21. hmmmm, out of ALL the bionicle sets i've ever had, the only ones i ever felt were obviously flawed would be, 2008 matoran. always. between the low posability and the weak sockets, they were just all around bad toys. (masks were neat tho.)
  22. oh, blah. i forgot the hero factory plates all have a socket on the inside. oops. now, now i get it.
  23. hmmm, the color choice, color spread, and piece use is interesting and appealing, i'd say. (i would comment on the ammount of grey/gray kinda pulling away from the look, but i'm hardly one to talk haha.) but now i'm driving myself crazy trying to figure out how the arms are attatched to the shoulders.
  24. I've been redoing the panel art for Bohrok Adventures, if you haven't seen the new look, i'd suggest checking it out! :U
