Prediction-Theory: Lewa and Skull spider
Saint-14 replied to Tuuli's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
I get what you meant by this, but it's still worded awkwardly considering almost everything we know about G2 is influenced directly by the first year of G1. xD I'd like to see this happen (the potential is there!) but at this point I kind of doubt it. Though I am a little disappointed that NO ONE has been taken control by the Skull Spiders yet. It's a cool point and set function that I wish they actually implemented... -NotS Well, judging by the mini comics, we've seen a couple Protectors being taken control of (although the threat level is extremely minimal since the Toa are right there to knock it off of them ) -
Hello! I'd like to show my work on the Mask of Rahi Control, the unreleased Kanohi that Toa Hagah Kualus wears Full Gallery I'm using the Hau Nuva Mistika as my base, since this particular version was only ever seen once in canon. The big horn on the head, plus the ninja-like mouth covering all look like it would fit well for this Kanohi, and by cutting off a piece from one of the Hero Factory 2.0 head connectors, I can add the telescopic lens that accompanies many Toa of Ice's masks. I still need to glue it on, and then paint it white, but what do you think? It will eventually be used for a Toa Hagah Kualus MOC I'm planning on making Also ignore the current paint job, it will all be fixed and smooth once the mask is finished. The white base I'm using is my sister's nail polish, as was recommended to me in a separate topic, and will maybe be spray-painted or glossed over with a nice finish

Will there be an entry topic with the entries in a list made up, or just this topic? Not that I'm asking for the moderators to do extra work, I just want to make sure I am clear on the info -
OOC: I'd you want to be a cohesive character, sure! On the other hand, if you want to explore multiple characters and their powers, that's fine, too! The main point of the game is interesting traps and solutions; just make sure that the powers aren't crazy and illogical, hehe

Bionicle 2008 Icarax/ Vultran/ Toa Ignika/Mutran and Vican
Saint-14 replied to Master of Lehrak's topic in Buy/Sell/Trade
First, yes, you are posting in the right spot Second, your gallery isn't public yet, but I'm assuming that it is just the pictures of the figures, so I'll just have to wait to see it Third, prices: I'm using Bricklink as my judge for average selling price, which I reccommend as a nifty tool to use in the future. You don't have to follow the price exactly, but it is a good spot for reference. So, here are the average prices I found for the used sets Toa Ignika: $40 Vultraz: $20 Murray and Vican: $20 Icarax: $50 Note: the prices are in Canadian dollars, so Icarax would be about 40, Ignika about 30, and M/V and Vultraz about 15-18 or so each in American dollars Hope this helps! And I might be interested in the Toa Ignika if you sell in the future (and ship to Canada) -
Prediction-Theory: Lewa and Skull spider
Saint-14 replied to Tuuli's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
One could argue that the Skull Spiders and LOSS are still going to be featured in then summer wave, though. I mean, the Skull Spiders were mainly put into this wave for the 'battle in a box', so having them included in the Summer Wave sets wouldn't really make sense; the villains are now there to fight the Toa, so why put them in more? However, that doesn't mean that they won't be in the summer wave, they just won't be in the sets (unless they release a mask pack-like item, but that's a whole other ballpark that I'm not going to delve into) As for LOSS, yes it was defeated fast, but that doesn't mean it won't go back and join the Skull Gang to protect the ancient city. I mean, he was basically tossed off of something, right? It's been a long time since I've seen the Italian episode, hehe Regardless, I think it would be a healthy practice on BZP to start acknowledging more theories; debates are great, and I love a good, well-structured argument, but we seem to be focused on tearing down theories left and right rather than looking at it and examining how it could possibly work. Granted, some theories are absolutely off the wall crack theories, but we should all be a little more accepting, you know? -
Using my powers over ice I cool down the goop, and safely make my way through the I notice a discarded great Kanohi Garai, mask of Gravity, on a fallen Toa's body in the next section of the maze. Temporarily using it's power, I create a room with varying sections of gravity, ranging from weightless to crushing force. Watch your step, Dark Hunters

Yes, you can get it from the LEGO Store, as I just picked mine up. Since BIONICLE isn't selling too hot, at least in mine, it seems you can get it from buying ANY set (not just BIONICLE).EDIT: Pic: http://i.imgur.com/g6NjYso.jpg It has nothing to do with Bionicle not selling well. We've known that the Hero Pack would be available with any purchase for more than a month now. The only reason the Elves polybag is any different is likely because of the general "Ew, pink!" impulse that afflicts too many young boys.I didn't mean that the Hero Pack was created because BIONICLE wasn't selling well, but that perhaps the reason that they automatically throw it in with your purchase (someone next to me was purchasing the Brick Ice Cube mold, and still had the polybag thrown in.) is possibly that over the last 2 months, the BIONICLE display hadn't changed AT ALL. (I still saw the blank spaces in the exact area when I bought a couple sets back in January.) Then again, it could be an oddity at my store, and I don't doubt that BIONICLE is selling well.I believe that it is just being given out to advertise the line. A couple years back they gave out Chima Polybags for the exact same reason, trying to entice buyers towards new line. And I'm guessing that the display hasn't changed at all is because they are keeping it well stocked so that there is no shortage

Wait, doesn't Bionifight already exist??? -
I don't have a cat. Guess that means no Hero Pack for me. In all seriousness, this is pretty cool. It's puzzling that they've still got that mysterious 'prototype Mask of Creation.' Will we see it make an actual appearance as some other mask, or is it merely some mistake? Exciting times for sure. Hehe, whoops! I'll edit that in And I forgot to mention, I bought mine with the PoE, too. Mainly for the trans. purple bones, but Hero Pack is a nice bonus
-
OOC: for game purposes, yes. Being a maze, just imagine that each corridor shifts after every move, so the trap you place is then moved in front of somebody else
-
Unless the promo is advertised later on for those stores I believe it will just be Lego official stores for now
-
Row, row, fight the (Mask of Ultimate) Power! Very cool MOC. The scale is very well done, and the cohesive of the colour scheme is pleasant to see. And having the Protector of Time named Vahi is a pretty nice throwback hehe

In addition, some CCBS pieces can be obtained from the Pick a Brick section of the Lego Store (online), although they may be harder to find than just regular pieces, and they might have been removed in recent years Pid I were you, though, I'd go with the suggestions offered; piece price is usually pretty good, and depending on the seller, shipping costs to where you live might be nice also Just beware the dreaded 'minimum buy' for some stores; sure, they may have every single piece you need, but they'll be asking for $20+ minimum buy. It's always a good practice to check out the store terms for each individual store you go to, as THEYLL list their minimum buy and shipping policies there. Hope this helps!

Exactly what the title says! It isn't advertised on the Canadian site, but adding anything to your cart gets you the Hero Pack Interestingly enough, too, on the product page it lists the cost for the pack as $6.99 CAD (http://shop.lego.com/en-CA/Hero-Pack-5002941?s=6106042), and unsurprisingly it can't be added to your cart separately this time around

OOC: Exactly like that! Let your imagination run wild; you're fighting for your first treasure as a Dark Hunter, use any means necessary. And I probably won't be paying too much, just observing to see how it goes, but I'll respond to your trap IC: I see a pattern in the flow of the snakes, where every few seconds it leaves a small gap wide enough to jump through. I launch myself at the right time, and manage to make it into the snake filled hall. I carefully tiptoe around the rest of the snakes, and make it out safely. I grab some of the snakes and collect the venom in a series of vials. After making my way through the next section of the maze, I throw the vials back to create a poisonous chamber.

Member name: ~Haxorus~ Game title: Maze of the Dark Hunters Game topic: here Pardon the speedy entry, just want to make sure it is out there to be played ((and to prevent possible duplicate ideas )) Good luck everybody! -
Welome to Odina, Dark Hunter. The Shadowed One has tasked all new recruits with navigating a giant maze to find their way to the treasures within. However, there are no set rules as to whether or not you need to co-operate with the other recruits, so use any powers you have at your disposal to ensure that you become the ultimate victor. How to Play: Dark Hunters are a ruthless bunch. Your job is to create intricate traps for your opponents so that only you can get the treasures. In addition to laying traps, you must figure out a way to escape the trap laid before you.For (a very simple) example, Person A uses their power to cover the ground in vines that ensnare the next person; regardless of how high you can fly or jump, the vines find a way to tangle you up in them.Person B, however, notices that Person A only specified how high above the vines you are, and not how low. They decide to tunnel under them, and bypass the trap. Person B then covers the area in Toa-sized Ash Bear traps, and so on. Rules: Don’t make your trap the ‘ultimate trap of all time’, make one that is A) feasible to create in the maze and B) one that can be solved with some tricky thinkingKeep the powers that you use to a normal level, too (i.e. time manipulation is a power that nobody casually has, so keep that in mind)That being said, think outside of the box as to what you can do!Most importantly, don’t let the Shadowed One see any weaknesses; he did hire you based on your thief mindset, so use that to your advantage. Creativity is rewarded on Odina; bright minds go far places. And follow all G&T forum rules and general BZPower rules Now, to start: I use my powers over ice to coat the area in a slipper layer of ice, with spikes jutting out from all corners of the hallway

It's definitely not a safe bet. Those kinds of activity books literally never have exclusive minifigures, so I don't see why Bionicle would be any different. It'll most likely have a mask that's already available like one of the Toa or Protector's masks. I don't think it's too early to discard that train of thought yet for all we know, the mask could be exclusive, like the figures that come in the encyclopedias that Lego releases (i.e. the upcoming Star Wars one has Proto Fett), and the scholastic pack way back in the day, while not an activity book, did have the exclusive poisoned Hau Nuva. On the same note, they could just package it with a Tahu mask just to promote the theme, so for right now it's all up in the air I mean, all we have so far about it is "Activity Book #1", so until it is actually revealed I'd say it's possible that it might have the trans. Gali mask

Yesssss, soon I've got my entry ready to go, wish you could queue topics hehe -
Id love to see it brought back, considering that the Ninjago mechs seem to have gotten better in decently recently. However, like most people have said, I'd like CCBS to be used as minimally as possible. It just doesn't have that feel that the original theme had In addition, even if it isn't brought back in name, I'd love to see just a spiritual successor brought in

Also (hopefully) last question: if we can finish the write up before March 1st, can we post the topic and then enter when the entry submission thing becomes available? Or do we have to wait to post our topics? Thanks in advance for the help! -
It's important to note, too, that the movies didn't necessarily follow the story lines; for 2004/2005 there was a novelization written up for the both of them in order to have a story that fit what the movie was telling. The novel and comic stories just didn't make it into the movies, so any changes proposed to the actual storyline here are all fair game

THEORY: Plausible connection between Bionicle G1 and G2!
Saint-14 replied to Lyichir's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
That's it right there, though, right on the nose. I mean, obviously mine and others stubbornness does nothing to change anybody else's opinions (nor do I want it to), but if even the slightest variation in interpretation could lead to the outcome we want to eventually see then we'll cling to it like a Shadow Leech on an Av-Matoran. Not that it's the healthiest mindset to have, but stubbornness as a trait isn't the worst to have. I mean, I'll be okay if at the end of this Bionicle's run there is no connection at all, but I'll cling to the hope that there might be one, and I'll still hold my own headcanons about the possible connection, too Regardless, anything else I say in this topic probably doesn't fit, since this is a topic based around the 'hard reboot' concept, so I probably won't post much more in here but I've appreciated the discussion generated here, so thanks for that everybody!
