  1. I love it. Everything fits together perfectly and it really gives off the appearance of a gun. I can't find anything negative at all to say about it, so it's a 10/10 for me.-don't touch my pocket protector
  2. Yeah, I came in this topic totally expecting the Halo Arbiter. However, what I did find here looked really good. I like how his legs work, it just looks neat. The color scheme is perfect. The red, black, and gray really mesh well, giving him a nice, continuous appearance. Overall he is very well armored and looks full on the inside, with the possible exception of his hips. Other than that, he's a great MOC 9/10.-don't touch my pocket protector
  3. I like the idea of this MOC of a viking with a sword and shield. I like the color scheme. The tan really gives the appearance of flesh, and the black and red look. However, I think the proportions are way off. His torso is too long, and I don't like the head. Also his thighs look really bare, not exactly befitting a well armored viking. If you could fix those little quarks, then it would be a really neat MOC. As it stands, however, it's only a 5/10.-don't touch my pocket protector
  4. Very nice. He's small but has a lot going on in there, and I like that. I think the color scheme really works. The trans-orange and white really blend together well, and they're well balanced. The only thing I don't like is the head. This may just be me, but I don't really like the nuva amour there. Other than that it's a fantastic MOC, 9/10.-don't touch my pocket protector
  5. I just realized that my profile info was totally screwed up and had at least five errors. I should really read the stuff I write.

  6. I really like this MOC. The mask fits him, and the color scheme is dead on. My favorite part, however, is that blaster. I really like the look of it with it being big and meaty. The only criticism I have is the waist. It's awfully thin, especially considering the size of the rest of the MOC. Other than that, a really nice job 8.5/10.-don't touch my pocket protector
  7. Destiny is an odd thing. Yes, somebody my be destined to do this or that, but what happens if they die or fail or turn evil? Well, they are still destined to do that thing, they just might not follow through. In a similar vein, I may be destined to drive a car (I hope), but I still have to go through a learning curve, and the car I'm learning in has quite a learning curve indeed. Eventually, I will fullfill my destiny by figuring out that darn clutch, but in the meantime, you better strap yourself in.-don't touch my pocket protector
  8. As a history buff, I would love to see them release a minifig for every single American president. There's just a few issues that have to be resolved:1. How would they differ George W. Bush from George H.W. Bush? John Adams from John Q. Adams?2. Release one Grover Cleveland or two? O.o a. If only one Grover Cleveland, how would the numbering work for the rest?3. How the heck would they do Martin Van Buren's hair?-don't touch my pocket protector
  9. "Welcome to the MU massive robotic universe. Would you like me to run the tutorial program?"But seriously, even if Makuta had trained and thought this through, I'm sure it would be a terribly jarring experience. You go from controlling a small body to a massive robot that you used to live inside. "Look down, there's the sea way way below. Getting dizzy?""Yeah, a little.""Well don't fall down, cause the last time that happened the entire universe was thrown into a thousand-year dark age.""Oh, good advice.""And while your at it, keep in mind that you have to manage the lives of several million beings and natural processes inside you. Good luck!"I don't think any amount of training could prepare Makuta for that.-don't touch my pocket protector
  10. My best moment is whenever anybody makes a postive post on one of my comedies. For me, one of the biggest thrills in life is when I make up a joke and then people laugh at it. When people post on my comedy saying it was really funny I get the same feeling.-don't touch my pocket protector
  11. I think that the staff culture has really started to change. I remember back before the downtime the staff really were like robots. The only time I ever saw staff members was "topic closed" or "topic moved". Just look at archived posts from forum leaders and you'll see what I mean. However, since the down time I've seen many staff members getting really involved in discussion. Gata posts a lot, Bones is always around S&T, and Deevee even posts some (despite the fact that the forums aren't even his area). I feel like the staff, and the community as a whole, is moving in the right direction.EDIT: In addition to that, I want to say that I feel perfectly comfortable voicing my concerns with the staff. If somebody closes a topic of mine for some reason I don't agree with, I'd have no problem politely PMing them asking why they did that. The key is "polite". The staff are like most people: if you ask nicely they'll listen to you, if you act rude and entitled, then don't expect to get any results.-don't touch my pocket protector
  12. This. The whole 2004-2005 story is what really brought me into Bionicle. It was that inner struggle of Vakama's that took me from a surface fan to a hardcore fan. However, if I had to pick a favorite toa, it would probably be Matau. Matau from the books, that is. I always enjoyed his humor and to me his reaction to gaining toa powers was the one I accociate with the most. If woke up one day and found out I had super powers, I would probably react like him. As a matter of fact, my original username (The Chute Jumper) was a homage to Matau.-don't touch my pocket protector
  13. Product Ten Announcer: So you posted something on BZPower that other people don’t like!Audience: Yeah!Announcer: And some “awesome person” (if you catch my drift) deserves to get chewed out!Audience: Yeah!Announcer: And you’ve tried Flame-Bot 3000, but they didn’t get the drift! Partially because they’re thick-headed, but mostly because within a week all of the replies were just a quote with the word “DITTO!” after it.Audience: Yeah!Announcer: Well you need to get personal! And by personal, I mean Personal Messages (or whatever the heck the new forum calls them).Audience: All right!Announcer: 100% Guaranteed to be DITTO!-free!Audience: Thank the Great Spirit!Announcer: Why dirty your hands composing a negative PM? That takes actual work, and plus, it could get you banned.Audience: That’s no fun!Announcer: But with PM-Bot, the only work you have to do is lifting up your phone and calling 1-800-PM-FLAME! That’s 1-800-PM-FLAME!Audience member in third row: I’m calling right now on my smart phone!Announcer: There is absolutely no reason to not call right now! Check out what some of our satisfied customers have to say:Satisfied Customer One: This product was amazing! Those PMs really told that “awesome person” what he needed to hear!Satisfied Customer Two: That ignoramus needed to be told how to appreciate real artwork. Instead of an awkward confrontation in my topic that could have gotten the thread closed, I just sat back and let PM-Bot take care of it for me! I haven’t seen him around my thread since!Satisfied Customer Three: I didn’t see “DITTO!” once!Announcer: That’s right folks, everybody’s happy with this fantastic product! In fact, we conducted a scientific poll where we asked people what they liked best about PM-Bot! Here are the results:12% said they were glad to tell that “person” (as in “Awesome Person”) what was on their mind.19% said they liked PM-Bot because they weren’t banned.79% said that they were relieved that their computers weren’t hacked with “DITTO!”.Audience: Wow! Convincing!Announcer: And if that doesn’t convince you, then we’ll give you a live in-studio demonstration to prove it! Gary, bring it out![Gary wheels out a large television screen with a computer beneath it]Announcer: No Gary, not the one booting Windows. We’ll never get it to run on Windows![Gary mumbles under his breath and goes back for the computer that boots Linux]Announcer: There we go! Take a look!Audience: Ah!Announcer: Here we have a live picture of the BZPower forums.Whiney kid in the fifth row: Dude, the old version was so much better!Studio Security Guard, glaring menacingly: Come with me!Whiney kid who was in fifth row, but is now being pulled by his ear: No! I refuse!Studio Security Guard, still glaring menacingly: No, you’re going out!Whiney kid who was in fifth row, now near the back of the studio, massaging his ear: NO!Studio Security Guard, who apparently knows no expression other than “glaring menacingly”: Come out now!Whiney kid who was in fifth row, almost out the door: Dude, you blink less than Michele Bachman!Announcer: A round of applause for studio security please!Audience: [applause]Announcer: Now, back to this amazing product! What we see here is a live picture of the BZPower forums! Now, let’s pick some member to flame! How about [redacted]?Audience: Yeah! [redacted] really needs a good flaming!Announcer: So we’ll simply boot up PM-Bot, select [redacted] and let her rip!Audience: Sweet!Announcer: Oh look, some PMs are starting to go out! Audience: Woah!Announcer: See? It’s all absolutely DITTO!-free! There will be no DITTO!bots hacking into your computer! None replacing all your personal documents with the word “DITTO!”. No stealing of credit card numbers and social security numbers to be sent off to a Caribbean dummy corporation designed to stockpile your sensitive information before selling it to various Nigerian money launderers.Audience: Wait! How do you know all that!Announcer: Erm, they’ll be none of that with PM-Bot! Guaranteed!Audience: Whew!Announcer: There is absolutely no risk to you (and no DITTO! either!) so call right now! You know the number, it’s 1-800-PM-FLAME! Call now! There’s no DITTO! we promise!Audience: Yeah, call now!.................................. DITTO!
  14. I think Jaller could do that because he was a Toa of Fire. Protodermis is a sort of metallic substance and I don't think it burns easily, unless you're a Toa of Fire.-don't touch my pocket protector
  15. I think they're moving the server. You can find info on that here: http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=2535I know the order that all the books and movies go in, mainly I'm curious to see where the serials fit into the story.-don't touch my pocket protector
  16. I hope we get I new skin, but I know that skinning is a real pain in the butt, so I'm patient.-don't touch my pocket protector
  17. I was wondering if there was a full list of all the Bionicle media (books, serials, etc) put in chronologica order. I never was clear exactly where all the serials fit into the story as a whole.-don't touch my pocket protector
  18. I must say that the non canon idea does make sense i just thought that i would bring it up. although toa of nerds i don't quite understand what you mean by the fact that they were the original toa and that is what made them great. it would be nice if you could explain that a little more.By original I mean the Toa Mata. Tahu's Hau isn't "Great" because he's Tahu, it's "Great" because he's a Toa.-don't touch my pocket protector
  19. Masks Toa wear = Great MasksMasks Turaga wear = Noble MasksMasks Matoran wear = common masksThe fact that they were the original toa isn't what made those maks "Great", it was simply the fact that they were Toa. Lhikan's mask was orignally Great. It became a Noble Mask when he becamea Turaga, and it became a common mask when it was passed on to Jaller.-don't touch my pocket protector
  20. BNG was a great idea, but here's the problem with it: it was way too ambitious. When I saw that they were trying to make full length movies, I just knew that it would fall apart, and I think the board downtime just accelerated that. Instead of focusing on one massive goal, they should try for many managable goals. Maybe instead of trying to release a full 2-hour movie they should go for 5-10 minute videos released once a month. That way there is measurable progress and more motivation to contiue when the going gets tough. Just a thought.-don't touch my pocket protector
  21. I BZPower makes up a good portion of the hardcore fanbase. Most people who were ever really into Bionicle have probably already found BZPower. Having said that, I still think that there are several people out there who loved Bionicle but never found BZP because they never really thought of googling "Bionicle". Heck, I was a hardcore fan for seven years before I found BZPower, and that was only after I decided to wikipedia "Bionicle".-don't touch my pocket protector
  22. I remember waiting ages for it to load on my super slow internet. I don't believe I even finished it until recently when I downloaded it. But still, the the MNOG was what drew me to bionicle.com and by extension, the true story of Bionicle.-don't touch my pocket protector
  23. From what I understand, the actual species is "matoran" and toa are just a form of matoran. Kind of like a catapillar and a butterfly are of the same species but of different forms. Given that, I still imagine that you would call them toa. Toa is what they are, even if you have to use that word somewhat ironically.-don't touch my pocket protector
  24. I've never had any negative experience with the staff. Whenever I've done something wrong they always sent me a polite PM telling me what I did wrong and I fixed it. Obviously anybody who got banned from BZPower will think that they are too strict, but if you follow the rules I don't see how you can have an issue.-don't touch my pocket protector
  25. Yes there are. The ranks are based on the number of posts. Premier Members get special images for their ranks. In the future if you have a question ask it in the BZP Q and A forum (link: http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showforum=35).Also, I think that it should be made more public that the BZPowercast accepts member input. I knew about the offer, but i don't think a lot of members did.-don't touch my pocket protector
