    Well, all of the pointless "BZPower is dying" conversation would end, and there would be a ton of speculation about the future of the story once again. However, there would be a bunch of noobs coming in, though that could be a good thing for the future of the site.     I'm guessing that Teridax didn't have enough time to escape from the body, especially since the rock took him completely by surprise.Either that, or Makuta was hard-wired into Mata-Nui's body to where if the body was destroyed, then Makuta would die. It could be that Makuta did that because he didn't want to get kicked out of the body, or due to some by product of the process by which he inserted himself into that body.-don't touch my pocket protector

    And that policy is precisely why I can't blame GregF for this long period of inactivity. I do not believe we are forgotten about but when it comes right down to it GregF makes no money for his family when writes BIONICLE. Besides the fan's disappointment he loses nothing from not writing it. I understand how frustrating this is, but when it comes right down to it it's hard to keep up with a community you can't even interact with. I guess Greg could always cut ties with lego if he really wanted to, but then what? Although Bionicle has been canceled, I'd imagine lego still owns it...He is not going to quit his job any time soon. If he does extend Bionicle, he's going to be doing it on his own time soley for our benefit. The fact that he's even considering to extend the story is remarkable.-don't touch my pocket protector

    The funny thing is that WoS was actually one of two favorite Bionicle books (the other being Time Trap). The other movie tie-in books were mediocre I thought. That goes to show you how much voice acting actually contributes to (or detracts from) the quality of a movie .-don't touch my pocket protector

    My impression is that TT cut a deal with Lego for three movies. Originally Lego intended those to be Bionicle movies, but when they ended Bionicle, they were going to use those movies on other lines instead. I'm not sure on the exact status of the contract at the moment, though.-don't touch my pocket protector

    Never thought of that, though looking back it seems to be the best reason to keep everything under the radar. One thing that a lot of times is overlooked is that up until Teridax imprisioned all the matoran, the Maktua were supposed to be good guys. A lot of that is kind of ruined, though, because in LoMN (when they're supposed to be "good") everybody already knows that the Makuta turn out bad, and so it ruins all the effects of deception. Keep in mind that the Brotherhood of Makuta pulled off the ultimate betrayel against Mata-Nui. If you haven't read Time Trap then you seriously missed out. Time Trap was probably the best bionicle book. You should read it.-don't touch my pocket protector

    You really should start doing that, and I'm being serious. Stay in a thread, get into some back-and-forth, reply to people's comments. That's the hallmark of good discussion.As for me, my rate is about 1 post per day, so that means I'll reach it in about 23 years. However, that rate is a bit decieving since it doesn't account for a few breaks and multiple downtimes, and I'm also posting a lot more now than I used to. At my rate right now it would take me about 4 years of solid posting.-don't touch my pocket protector

I just thought that the reason Lego employees can't talk to us on this site anymore is because he can't contact anyone under 13 through social media. Since bink knows that Black Six is over 13, I don't see any problem with Black Six contacting bink.-don't touch my pocket protector

    For me, the story was Bionicle. I first got into Bionicle off of the story alone, and picked the sets I bought almost solely based on their backstory. I was also drawn to the Knights Kingdom line later for the same reasons. I stopped seriously considering a Hero Factory purchase when I realized how sorry the story really was.-don't touch my pocket protector

    I've always loved the idea of a Bionicle TV series. To me, it seems like the story would fit perfectly, especially since a lot of it was released episodically. With a TV series, we could also spend time developing each toa. The years could fit easily as seasons, and good voice actors could (and should) be found. Would need Nathan Furst music and good CGI, though, for me to watch it.-don't touch my pocket protector

    This set reminds me of the good old days, back when Bionicle sets actually did stuff (and by doing stuff I do not mean just launching a plastic ball). I would really love to see Lego bring back some real action functions to Hero Factory. Maybe some of the higher end sets could be similar to this.-don't touch my pocket protector

    A paralell questino would be: what is the role of cells in the human body? The matoran were to Mata-Nui as cells are to our bodies. I'm not exactly sure on the specifics of why their work was important, but suffice to say that they were like the red blood cells in our body. If those cells quit working, we would fall unconscious and eventually die. Just like Mata-Nui did.-don't touch my pocket protector

Mostly dark and grim. I would contest that statement - most of the bad jokes were in the movies; at least, the most noticeable ones, and the books were mostly clear of them.You're right; my mistake. Take "any medium" to mean TV shows or movies. I agree that the books were fairly clear of such cheese, and were actually my favorite part of the Bionicle story.-don't touch my pocket protector

    Yes, I know that real life science doesn't apply in Bionicle, but my point of bringing up our technological advances was to point out how complicated it would be to really program a sentient lifeform. For something so complex, mindblowingly complex really, to happen by accident doesn't seem possible to me. I think the best theory is that the GBs programmed the matoran to be adaptive, and the matoran gradually gained that emotion.-don't touch my pocket protector

    Oh, they were powerful. Powerful enough to wage open warfare against all of Metru-Nui. However, Makuta probably underestimated them. He was a narcissist, and underestimating his enemies was one of his most famous vices.-don't touch my pocket protector

    While there have been a few TV specials for Hero Factory, I haven't heard any talk about a HF movie. Are there any plans for an HF movie currently? Should there be an HF movie? What should the movie be like?-don't touch my pocket protector
