  1. Elementary, my dear Watson Ballom. But seriously, for Hero Factory, this is waaaaay beyond awesome =D Only things I have to note here is that the lightning looks kinda out-of-place, perhaps a Vezon-cloak would be better suited for that spot, and even the most gentlemanly of gentlemen does not need more than one walking cane.
  2. Three outta five, I guess.
  3. "Heyyy, check out my newly painted fingernails ^.^" (The "Old MOC is old."-thingy. (I know, not really in your sig, but hey, who cares? =D) )
  4. Well, there would be the fact that I kinda really just joined. Oh, and also BZPStuck. Oh ye oblivious Brian. (seriously, we should get him something that enables him to look at what's happening behind his back. 'Cause if he's got his back turned to it, it'd most likely be something important)
  5. "Hmm, perhaps I should click on his avatar or get a bigger screen to read what the avatar of the poster above me is saying" - Dude w/a Hat's avatar Your own avatar commands. Do so.
  6. The hat mentioned in your name is just like cake. It's a lie D= (Yep, ain't in your sig)(besides, for extra awesome it'd need to be a tophat anyway)(including a monocle =D)
  7. Yeah, same here. While we do know Chasebear's platinum Avohkii was real, and we do know he sold it, we do not know to whom he sold it. And, since the eBay entry shows no certificate whatsoever, it could just indeed be platinum poured into an Avohkii-mold. So yeah, you'd probably only want to buy it if you could pick it up personally. (Compared to that $29000, the flight tickets would be nothing though)
  8. Planning something..... =)

  9. Wa-wa-wait.... it's NOT a mustache? MY ENTIRE LIFE HAS BEEN A LIE ;-;

Aww *pokes* trust me, it may be hard at first, but it will certainly get easier some day. :3

      (Sure ^^ I'll throw you a pm...)

  10. Still mustached ears. I sense a ironic contrast to your avatar. And if I ever were to meet the guy that invented timezones, I'd kil- eehhmm, kindly give him a cup 'o tea =3 EDIT: Incredibly rare X2 invisible Ninja combo!
  11. Wait a minute....... so is was you that ate my breakfast ninja'd my post! I will not let that go unpunished! Vahki, arrest that man!
  12. That'd be my chrome Hau - I just love the way it shines ^.^ Lhikan's Hau is also up there, though.
  13. There's a certificate of authenticity along with the legitimate version. Without the certificate (which the owner has), the item is only as valuable as the raw materials it is made up of. At this time with the price of platinum as it was updated in the last 2 minutes, the value of the platinum itself is US$5563 according to the weight listed on eBay, so that's the mask's value without the certificate. However, we didn't really get to see that on the eBay. This would be one of those purchases you should only make when you can pick up the item personally, because that sure is a of a lot of money, and either it not being send to you, or it proving to be a fake, well.... that'd certainly be a massive metaphorical punch to one's face.
  14. The truth has many faces, and each one is both right and wrong in it's own way. [/ElderlyWizard] But yeah. it's part of a lyrics from an awesome song by an awesome band =) Although, in a way, it kinda fits me. *tries desperately hard to think of another thing to say about your signature to keep this on-topic*
  15. I really don't think $29k is too much to ask. The fact that this is the only one ever made, and ever will be made is a whole lot of value in itself. Solid platinum, add another $5000 to the cost. The fact that this is a real collector's item; something LEGO doesn't do often is again, an extra few thousand dollars. On a side note, before selling something like this, surely he got it appraised. Whoever appraised it would have experience in marking the value in these things, so the price is certainly realistic from a collector's standpoint. As they say, something is just as valuable as a madman wishes to pay for it. But yeah, without the emotional value it would be worth about $7000. The fact that there was only one ever made, and that it's an ultra-rare collectors item many would dearly like to see on their own shelf (or safe, for that matter), enables him to ask whatever he wants for it: we can't get a cheaper one from wherever, and there'll surely be one collector rich enough to buy it. If it doesn't get sold at this price, though, he'll probably try again asking for a lower price later. Makes me wonder, what if someone were to create a mold of a regular Avohkii, fill that with platinum and then resell it? The actual item is so rare, we wouldn't have enough material to compare it with to determine whether it's a fake.
  16. Keep in mind the second line is written in a second-person perspective, so either it's not me, or.... well, I am/will be not me. Have a guess >=3 And the person in your sig apparently seems to be in an incredibly grey void. Nothing to burn - boooooooriiiiiiiiing.
  17. But, we know that there are several other dimensions capable of supporting similar objects and lifeforms as the one in the "main" universe, and that travel between those dimensions is entirely possible. So, what if the protodermis containing the code defining a mask's powers was actually in another dimension, and the effects are then channeled into the wearer's one. This would essentially make a mask that's "bigger on the inside", if you get that, and therefore could contain more, and more complex, code, since the size of those two dimensions isn't related whatsoever: you would even be able to fit an entire Mata Nui-robot filled with code inside a single mask. (not likely, but possible)
  18. Yep, they are numbered from the original series up to now. Since technically, the New Series isn't a complete reboot, but rather a continuation of the old series. Back on-topic, I'd say your avatar has an epic ginger goatee-beard.
  19. Well, as you might know, something being considered a computer doesn't require all the things we usually associate with one: all you need is a processing unit, AKA something you can calculate with, and something to store those calculations on. So it wouldn't really be that hard to make that out of clockwork, but if you wanted to create a complex AI and fully-functioning humanoid robot, you'd probably need to stuff at least an entire country full of clockwork. It could just be very, very small clockwork, though. Or, alternatively, the Vahki AI is not actually inside of them, and they merely act as a sort-of "receiver", and send their senses (sight, hearing, feel, etc.) to the "central" AI.
